Trying to investigate and issue, just looking for clarity about this entry in the Call Log. Basically I have a user who said she did not receive a call from a customer. Looked in the Call Log to audit and found this entry.Both the numbers ending in 4662 and 3488 are her numbers. The 4662 is the number that was assigned by RC while the 3488 is the actual local area number of her phone. I’m curious as to what this FindMe result is on the call log. The documentation states it’s “Indicates a call to a coworker who appears on a user’s call rule ring list.” but I’m unclear about what that means and the link out by this documentation is just about setting up incmoing call handling. Here’s the incoming call handling for that user as well. 

Is there a limit to the file size you can attach to a “Chat” Message within the Desktop app?  If so, what is the limit.

I have attempted a number of times to get a OTP (one-time-password) from Amazon to my SMS. I know my SMS is working but why is this one not coming through? Is there somewhere a blocked SMS setting?

Why is it that every single time I receive a call, the ringcentral iOS app creates a new contact with my own extension direct phone number and the name “via Ringcentral” in my iPhone contacts? This is absurd. There are now hundreds of them and I have to manually delete them. Seems like a clear bug! Can anyone from Ringcentral help??? All of the data on the contact is my extensions’s phone number with the label “WORK” and the first name “via RingCentral”

RingCentral app and MS Teams ring together, how to stop this simultaneous ringCurrently if a user is using both the RC App and MS Teams is integrated with RC, when a call comes in, it rings on both RC App and Teams.Is there a way to stop/chose where the user wants the call to ring, i.e. either the RC App or MS Teams.The only option I currently see is to disable the RC and Teams integration for the user.

I'm looking for a developer that can help me automate importing of call log details into a Google Sheets. I've been manually importing them but would like to automate the process.Here's my wish list.Set which extensions to import from.Set the number of days.Have one sheet for inbound calls and another for outbound (same workbook, different sheets).Set the time of day when the pull happens (like midnight).If this isn't the appropriate forum to post something like this I would like to know where I could seek out help for this.

I am getting the OAU-250 error when attempting the JWT Authentication Flow. I am basically using CURL to attempt this. The application scope is set to read accounts and ringout.What am I missing?

I have an Incoming Fax going straight to Voice, is there no way to send it back to fax?

We are a new account, but had all of our numbers ported from Spectrum to RingCentral. The lines that were for fax are now just numbers in RingCentral, but every time a fax comes in to this digital account, it is also leaving a blank voicemail message. All of the settings look similar to another account where faxes are coming into the app without leaving a voice message. Am I missing something? 

Hello,It’s been around 3 months that our company is facing TCR compliance issue. This has not halted our SMS registration, but also so many of our clients and our internal team are facing issues communicating with each other, since Ring Central used to be our main source of communication with clients regarding their queries and also for internal communication between our own employees.And what makes this issue more critical is that a total of 10x Ring Central numbers assigned to us can’t send/receive messages.Right now, we have implemented all the steps needed for a perfect TCR compliance.

I'm encountering an issue when trying to send an SMS via the API.The request fails with the following JSON error response:{ "message": "Internal Server Error. We purchased multiple Yealink phones directly from Ring Central (T46Us and T33Gs). They were provisioned by RC before being sent to us. I’m trying to enter the advanced settings and the web interface for the phones to setup extension modules and do some other settings, and I can’t find the correct admin password. I’ve tried my account password (my account is the admin for our RC account), I’ve tried the default admin from the Yealink guide, and I’ve tried the password for the user that those phones are assigned to - nothing works, and I’m concerned about getting locked out. I’ve also reached out to RC and asked what password they set when they provisioned the phones, but I haven’t heard back from them.Thanks, Mike

Is it possible to create a link to a recorded meeting from RCV, instead of just sharing to tenant members directly? In Meetings, this was possible, but it would appear this functionality doesn't exist in RCV yet. Thanks!

It’ll show I have a message, I’ll read the message, when I go back to my home screen it doesn’t show any notifications, and then about 5 seconds later it shows a ‘1’. I go back into ring and there’s no new message.

We have been having an issue with sending MMS pictures larger than 1.5 Mb.Up until a month ago, we never had an issue sending MMS pictures larger than 1.5Mb. Now I was informed that there is a limit on the MMS size.Can this limit be increased? It's a pain to use Google Photos to send a link instead of the actual picture. Also, when is Ring Central going to be RCS messaging compliant? 

Hi, I have an iphone and when ringcentral is active on my phone it shows the phone log in the Ringcentral app but all the calls are also coming up on my normal phone app in the recents. How do I stop this from happening?

I have a user on a Polycom VVX 350 desk phone that has to press 1 to answer a call that comes directly to his extension.  It was not like this at our launch, the user has no idea how it was changed to that, I have looked through every setting on the handset and the admin site, and he is the only user this has happened to. Does anyone know how to turn this off?  When answering an incoming call, we want to pick the headset up and start talking to the individual. I appreciate the help!  

I created an IVR and id like my main company number to connect to it. When I go into the IVR it has to add a direct number but that cost extra. is there a way to have the direct number ring to the IVR?

I've scrolled back almost a year and can't find the text that failed to send. Is there a way to quickly find this. If not, is there a way to get the error message to no longer show?

Tried looking through the KB and at past community postings about this but wasn’t able to come up with anything. We recently migrated over from an older phone system to RingCentral and my users were very familiar with the old system so I’m trying to recreate some of that familiarity. On the old phones when a customer called in, it would display the number that is calling in and also the Company Name that was associated with the number the customer was calling in for. This allowed our scheduling team to quickly identify how to handle/greet the call since we are comprised of several businesses. The closest I’ve been able to get with RC’s system is by setting the display number to be the dialed number under User>Phone>Incoming Call Information. This is really meant to be a stopgap since now our schedulers are referring to a company sheet of numbers to identify what company a customer is calling in for. I’ve looked at the Display Settings as well unde

I'm close to giving up on getting through the SMS Campaign process! I was approved to send SMS, with the same phone number, when I was with Zoom. I switched to RC in order to use BeeTexting. I’ve resubmitted my application at least 10 times (probably closer to 15 times), each time with RC customer support, and I keep getting rejected. The utter waste of my time has become so frustrating that I’m beginning to regret switching. Also, I’m paying for BeeTexting, and can't use it.I have a very small business, which is all referral business; I have never done marketing, much less SMS marketing! I’m beyond frustrated and getting close to just giving up….Help!

The documentation for sending a fax via the RC App shows there should be the “paperclip” attach button, but it does not appear as an option for us to click. Is there anyone else experiencing this and is there a fix?
