Hi,I’m trying to use the RingSense Get Recording Insights API to get the transcript from a recorded call. I recorded the call with the RingSense app, and I can see the transcription exists there. The extension does have a RingSense licence, and my app does have the RingSense scope.When requesting using Get Recording Insights API I get the following error:Call not found with sourceRecordId: [removed by moderator] and source pbx in account [removed by moderator] I have also tried with the Get Session Insights API, with similar results.I validated the app permission using authz-profile/check?permissionId=ReadRingSenseInsightswhich confirmed I had the scope and could access all extensions. Hi, we switched from a landline and ported our business number to Ringcentral as that's what was suggested by Frontier so that we could use our number to create a What’s app business account. We have since switch/ported but the number still will not work to set up a What’s app business account.

We would like for a task to stay “Unread” (highlighted for the recipient of the task) until it is marked “Complete” even after it has been read. How do we do that? Thank you!

Is it possible to use Salesforce flow to send SMS messages? I’ve only found info on using the RC API to automate sending SMS and I can’t find any info on using a flow to send an SMS.

My company is new to RC and we have installed RC for Salesforce.  All is working well in the desktop, but click to dial doesn't work in the Salesforce mobile app.  It takes the user out of Salesforce and into the RC mobile app and does not log the call on the Salesforce record.  Also, inbound calls do not attempt to connect with the Salesforce record upon ringing, answering, or call completion.  I feel like we’re missing something in the configuration that connects the user’s Salesforce mobile app to their RC profile.I haven’t been able to find much documentation for admins or users on RC for Salesforce for mobile configuration.

5 times customer support helped changing the languauge in terms and conditions but Ring Central is not approving it. Its keep charging $22 per request. Is it some kind of money making trick?

When my Avaya J179 phones are provisioned by RingCentral, their Web Administrator Password is getting clobbered.  I don’t know what RingCentral is setting that password to.  I can reset that password to the default 27238 from the phone’s administration menu directly, and then I can login to the phone’s web interface where it prompts me to set a new password, which I can do successfully.  That password works fine until I reboot the phone for any reason, then it gets clobbered again.  This makes it impossible for me to maintain web access to my phones, practically speaking.  Can I find out what password RingCentral’s provisioning is setting for my phone’s Web Administrator access?  Or, can I do something to have RingCentral’s provisioning refrain from clobbering that password?

I just finished set up SMS but one of our customer service still cannot use it and still showing Setup in progress. and I cannot register them what the next step I can do to resolve this issue. thank you.

Our phones (Polycom VVX 601 and VVX 400) have an envelope icon in the upper left corner of the presence screen. I would like to configure the phone to show a badge indicating the number of voicemail messages I have not yet listened to. Can the be done?

In the Classic App, you can easily select/delete multiple messages at one time.I cannot figure out how to do this in the new app.Am I just missing something? I send and receive hundreds of texts per day and like to be able to go in and clean up my inbox.

How can I turn off email notifications for calls and texts?

I use it as a “land line” of sorts and don't need 2 extensions for offices beside each other. I just want both office phones to ring if someone calls the toll free number.  the only reason I want a voip style phone is to track who calls the office and to forward call to my cell if im not at the office. 

I am Super Admin and need to access voicemails from my other phone lines assigned to staff or rooms in my shop. I can’t access them because it’s asking for extension password. I didn’t set this system up. We purchased an existing business, and the info was just kinda transferred over.

On the last RingEX Unlocked BYOC was brought up and the question of whether it was available for Japan or Dubai, it could not be answered on the call. Can you confirm if Bring Your Own Carrier is available for RingEX?

We just finished Ring Central Implementation. During working hours, the phones ring in Sales Queue however after hours it rings to all 4 production buildings. No one hears in the plants because only the phone rings which is in an unmanned office. I need the phone to ring through paging speakers after hours. How can I accomplish that?A second question is how do I Park a Call and show it parked until answered?Thanks

As per title.I've got the MSI latest version installed, and tried with local administrator credentials on the pc, along with regular user, tried running the teams desktop plugin as admin and teams as regular user (then the reverse of that), tried the latest teams versus teams classic (with same admin/non admin or full admin) and in every scenario, this is what's happening:Teams opened and logged in, click on ringcentral embedded app in teamsManually opened ringcentral for teams desktop plugin, appears to be runningGo back to teams and ringcentral embedded app says 'Loading RingCentral desktop plugin...' with no further informationTried checking logs (windows event viewer, rc logs etc) and not sure what exactly is stopping it.Were I to guess, something is stopping the embedded app from 'seeing' that the desktop plugin is running, but I don't know how else to get around that (having already disabled a

Hello, We are subscribing to an external service for afterhours.  I’ve been going back and forth deciding to add the external transfer to the main afterhours IVR or utilizing the afterhours setting in the Call Queue. Is there any benefit/downfall to either one? Thank you

I continue to be notified by fellow employees that they are unable to find me in their contacts and that my profile is hidden. I’ve searched though all available setting and cannot find anything where it’s an option.
