I'm considering installing a polycom ATA via RingCentral to allow some of my staff to still send outgoing faxes via our old fax machine. I'd like to still have all incoming faxes go to email and NOT to the old machine. Is this possible? Anyone have this type of setup or know of how to set this up when I install my ATA?

I have a Lead management system; I need to integrate Ringcentral with that.When a staff clicked a lead call button, start the call from browser. and also they need to take an incoming call from browser. If the staff is not available in front of the system, Call will forward to the phone we already mapped.I am the admin of this Lead manager and I will configure the Ringcentral App details in LeadManager Settings. Staff don't need to authenticate with Ringcentral again.1. Is this possible with RingCentral ?2. I tried with web phone JS, But it looks like need to authenticate for each user.3. Hello,The user can't place a call, but they can receive calls with no issues. When an outgoing call is placed the bad connection message comes up and the call is dropped. This only happens when the user is working from home, and it happens with the desktop app and web app.Now the strange part is the RC desktop & web app work fine if the user is working from the office. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if that would help and it doesn't.

Let's say I place a call on hold in my office, then I walk to my associate's office and have a conversation with him. My associate wants to speak to the caller. Is there any way my associate can pick up the call holding in my office extension? Or do I need to walk back to my office and park the call or transfer the call to my associate's office? I am developing an app that uses the Telephony Session Events. The problem we face is detecting when the call is finished reliably. Initially, I assumed the call ended when all the parties involved (parties id) got the "Disconnect" message, but this algorithm failed because the events were not coming in the proper order (ordered sequence number), and on top of this, I cannot rely in the sequence number because is not sequential (there are gaps), so, I cannot assume that if I got the sequence 5, I could wait for the previous sequence in order to sort the events.For instance, I can get the following sequence of event numbers: 3, 5, 2, 4, 7, 6, or I can get something completely different like: 2, 3, 5, 6, 4, 7Can someone point me to the right solution?Thanks!@Phong Vu?

Hello,New to RingCentral.I'm trying to change the meeting invite template for Outlook. This article seems to be the one. However, I don't see the User Extension Settings the article is talking about. Where is that? I'm logged into Admin Portal. I also looked around the app. I logged into the app through the browser, so it should be up to date. Is the article outdated? Our objective is to prevent internal agents from receiving transferred calls unless they are available. Presently, calls are being transferred to agents who may not be ready to take them, causing customers to wait on hold or get stuck in a queue if the agent logs off. To address this issue, we aim to allow transfers only when an agent is in an available status. Implementing a warm transfer process could help avoid these problems. However, we are also exploring the possibility of introducing a system setting or enhancement that would automatically check the availability of agents before enabling the transfer function. This way, the transfer option would only be available for selection when the intended agent is ready to take the call.Is this possible?

I submitted a new brand registration (BAEYV8R) yesterday. In the admin portal, it says "please wait a few minutes". Well, it is still Pending. I've tried calling support 2x, they are no help. I utilized the download feature n the Adoption & Usage report to further understand what made up the summary at the top of the page. I'm assuming there is some calculations going on in the background since the raw data doesn't match the summary. The summary shows 91,146 total calls but when I calculate the total calls column on the spreadsheet I am getting 168,662.Also, what is considered one call? We use ring groups so the majority of inbound calls hit a ring group before they reach a user. Is this added to both the user and ring groups total calls? Could this be inflating the raw data totals?Any further clarification would be appreciated.Thank you

Nice Systems in the fall of 2022 offered Advanced Caller ID. It is not called Universal Call Branding. RingCentral began to offer this service in the Spring of 2023. Unfortunately, the portal for Nice to add and remove numbers for the Universal Call Branding is not available for RingCentral customers. So, I asked my account manager and her team, what is the process to add and remove numbers from the Universal Call Branding service and I have yet to receive an answer. In addition, AT&T stopped all resellers, except a handful, not including Nice Systems, from monitoring calls on the AT&T platform with the call branding service. The last response I received from the RingCentral team was that "this feature is currently on pause". My response to the RingCentral team was if the feature they are referring to is the Universal Call Branding or the AT&T not supported until a new agreement with AT&T is agreed upon. This is ridiculous that RingCentral tries to load up Outlook in my Windows machine when I never configured any integration. I do not use Outlook so this prompt is a nuisance. How do I stop this from occurring?

Does RingCentral have the capability to show a message waiting indicator on multiple desk phones that are in the same Call Queue? Or even something like Visual Voicemail (since we're on ACO) where a glance at a phone can show that there is a voicemail for a call queue voicemail box. I am able to show one extension, if I send voicemail to that extensions voicemail box (not ideal), but if four users are part of a call queue, I'd expect all four users to be able to see that there are voicemails for that call queue.

We have RingCentral set up with an AutoAttendant forward so calls made to our Helpdesk number are routed to the RingCentral number. and from there, the calls are forwarded to the queue to be answered by users. I am noticing the Performance Reports don't show the number of incoming calls picked up by the users, only the AutoAttendant. Calls that come in directly to a user's number are counted or outbound calls made by the user's number.We need to be able to confirm users who are taking the Inbound calls, is there a way to do this given our AutoAttendant forwarding set up?Thank you.

I have it set to backup both calls and SMS. It's backing up the calls it seems but not the SMS. How do I fix this?

I have a team of agents whose primary role is making outbound calls (appointment reminders and preregistration. Their shift work code is "Outbound Calling", and they are in adherence when MAKING calls. As soon as a call connects, they are OUT of adherence. Which is maddening...does anyone else have this issue and can you suggest a solution?
