Handling Team Deletion During Bot uninstallation

I developed a bot, so during installation, I created some teams using the API (when the installation webhook is received, I call the team creation API using bot credentials). The admin of the team is the bot. However, when uninstallation happens, I need to delete these teams as well. How can I do that? The uninstallation hook is received after that has happened, so at that time, we can't trigger the delete team API using bot credentials, since the uninstallation already occurred. Is there any API to make someone else an admin, or any way we can trigger it before the uninstallation hook? What is the solution?

Mapping Embedded Call Control Data to WebHook Data

Hi All, I have a scenario where we are capturing the event data from the embeddable call controls, specifically the "callId" field. We are then receiving webhooks for the call disconnect events ( /restapi/v1.0/account/~/telephony/sessions?statusCode=Disconnected) and I would like to be able to map the webhook data to the existing embedded event data - ideally using the callId I received from the embedded call event but I cant find this id anywhere. Is this possible or do I need to rely on mapping the embedded data sessionId to the webhook telephonySessionId field?

Caller ID when forwarding to external phone

Hello,When I forward the call from call queue to an external phone using a custom rule, I want the receiving external phone to not see the personal caller ID of the caller. I want the receiving external phone to show this is a forwarded call from RingCentral call queue. Is this possible? Thanks

SMS Message cannot be sent with URL in SMS

HeyRecenlty our ringcentral number cannot send out any SMS containing our company's webstie URL or our company's URL for booking appointment. Has anyone been experiecning similar issue ?The SMS messages with the same URL used to be dleivered fine with no issue.

ACD Restricted Access

We're aiming to configure a roles based hierarchy, using ACD restricted access. We're able to successfully lock down reporting and ACD controls via Teams & Campaigns. The problem however, is that when this is in place, users are restricted who they can look up in MAX agent, meaning if people need to call people from other departments, they can't do so. Does anybody know of a way around this? We need Teams and Campaigns restricted for reporting purposes (and also locking down who can amend skills etc).

I am currently using the Data API to access and delete customer data. I have recently added the engage digital product. Will the data API be sufficient to also pull data from engage digital or will I have to connect to the interaction API to access/delete customer data?

Unable to forward calls using API

I upgraded to the latest RingCentral PHP SDK to support the JWT auth. Using the same code but modified to authenticate with JWT, it now fails to forward calls when the Webhook is triggered by the incoming call. Session and party IDs are from the Webhook data send by RingCentral.The following error was thrown. User lookup in our system for unknown numbers

We are moving to RingCentral from another system and integrating with the API. The previous system would call our API to request details on unknown phone numbers (webhook). Our system would look up the phone number and return info about the contact (name, email) from our system.How could we do this with RingCentral? When our users would add a contact in previous phone system, they would get name and email populated automatically when they entered the phone number. Hoping to have something similar in RingCentral.Thoughts?

How many phone numbers(to) per SMS request?

Hello,So I was able to confirm that I can send multiple messages by making one request using the Send SMS. https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/SMS/createSMSMessageHow many numbers can I send a message to in each request? I see in the documentation that it says 40 request per minute, but is each message sent considered a "request" or can each "request" send multiple messages?If I do this...is that 1 request or 3?Thank you,Alex S.

Accessing Ringcentral detailed call log using azure data factory?

Hi, has anyone had any success copying data from the detailed call log using azure data factory? I am finding very little examples online.I am trying to set up a linked service using the below..However I get the error message Failed to get access token from your token endpoint. Error returned from your authorization server: { "error" : "invalid_request", "errors" : [ { "errorCode" : "OAU-270", "message" : "None of the parameters [brand_id],[account_id], [partner_account_id] found in the request" } ], "error_description" : "None of the parameters [brand_id],[account_id], [partner_account_id] found in the request" }. Zapier Fax Issues, Using Zapier to send PDF for Faxing

I am reviving an issue with that I saw in another community post. Our office is trying to send a fax with attachments from Zapier, currently we are running into an error and then subsequent attempts to redeliver the fax from the Ring Central result in the app only sending a cover page.

Problems switching from password flow to JWT flow

Our users use the RC Phone app (the soft phone). It is installed on each desktop. We have a .NET app that currently uses the password flow to auth:await restClient.Authorize(Username, Extension, Password);The app uses CallOut to make calls:await restClient.Restapi().Account().Telephony().CallOut().Post(makeCallOutRequest);This method inits the soft phone to make the call. If the user needs to navigate a phone tree, they can use the numpad on the soft phone. We have to switch to JWT flow before March, so I created a new app and a JWT token to auth using JWT. I switched the client ID and client secret from the password flow app to the JWT flow app and can successfully authenticate:await restClient.Authorize(rcJwtToken);The problem is that I am no longer able to make calls, as I keep getting "CMN-102", which indicates a "Resource for parameter [deviceId] is not found". The only things I changed are the client secret, client ID, and line to use the JWT token. The

Call Out Returns CMN-102 Resource for DeviceId not found

We have successfully made call outs for certain Device IDs, but we have one that returns CMN-102 resource for parameter deviceID not found. Everyone is using an application that returns a deviceID.

What does it mean when fax failed error code is "CallFailed"

My company would like to send an SMS to users automatically based on an event that would trigger the text. 1.) Cannot list or send SMS from RingCentral for Salesforce

In versiones 6.25 and 6.25.1 we are not able to list any existing SMS for the account and also cannot write new SMS.SMS history looks empty, but we already have a lot SMS created from or received in the RingCentral desktop app:Also, we are not able to send messages from Salesforce app because there is not an input to write and neither the 'Send' button
