I would like to sync my daily hours of operation to Google business hours , automatically via API integration of some kind of sync between hours. I don’t want to update google hours of operation and then Ring Central hours of operation, separately daily.

Hello!I am using the php SDK to send an MMS with an image attachment (I tried using jpeg/png images). The documentation at https://developers.ringcentral.com/guide/messaging/sms/sending-images#php says: “Therefore, you must use multipart form-data, and set the content-type header to multipart/mixed.” In the same page of the documentation there is an example in php that uses the MultiPartBuilder class from the SDK. However, in the SDK MultiPartBuilder class the content-type header is set to multipart/form-data, not mixed:The documentation makes it sound as if I can only use multipart/mixed. So which content-type headers can I use to send an MMS?

Yesterday I exported the below Postman collection and imported it into PowerAutomate as a custom connector, got everything configured in my custom connector and it worked fine. I was able to sign into my account to create a connector to my app, then made multiple successful API calls to/from my tenant.  This morning, I checked one of the PowerAutomate flows I had running for an automation I’d like to move off of Python. It started to error out at some point this morning for the API calls, stating "TokenInvalid" "Token not found" "OAU-213" - which is strange since I did not define a token TTL, so it should have defaulted to 7 days. Signing back into my app has resolved this issue, but I would like for it to refresh on its own so that the automation works flawlessly like my Python one did.  Is the token TTL still defaulted to 7 days?Also is there anything on the roadmap to integrate with PowerAutomate like you all did with Zapier? Hi there,  Now that ringcentral has rolled out AI assistant, is there a way to disable it with an API? I know we have to use a template to override and block the AI, I can’t seem to find anything in the api reference to either disable the API or apply my template that will override and disable the user’s API. 

I’m trying to accomplish the following: I want to make an API request that will return to me if a specific phone number has been sent an SMS message over a specific period of time. And if yes, I want it to return to me what that message said.First, is this possible? If not, could I at least see if the number has been texted, and not what the message is?Second, where do I even begin with this? I have been trying to accomplish this automation in Zapier using an “API Request” step. I built an app, and have the Client ID and Secret and everything. It isn’t working. Can someone give me a brief explanation on how I would accomplish this? What are the first steps? How do I obtain the correct “token”? Thank you for any help. Is it possible to add a new contact (a name and number for example) via the API so when a customer signs up there info is automatically added to RingCentral so if and when they call we have their name to show on the screen?

Hey Community and Developers. Why doesn’t Zoho’s RingCentral integration allow users to hang up calls directly within the Zoho CRM plugin? It seems users currently need to end calls separately using the RingCentral app. Is there a workaround or setting that enables this functionality?From my research, it appears the integration relies on the RingCentral API for call handling, which might limit certain features in the plugin. However, the available API documentation doesn’t provide enough detail to confirm this fully. One alternative I’m exploring is switching to the browser call handling method, which seems to offer full control over calls.While this alternative is functional, implementing it would require time and resources to train users and update workflows. I have a proprietary customer administration tool where we’re wanting to integrate RingCentral into directly. I’m wanting to be able to add a button from the tool to start a call and input data into the IVR prompt. So it’s pretty much like automating entering in a customer’s ID # so an agent doesn’t have to do it manually. Trying to see if this is possible with the call api?

Not sure if im just missing it but is there a way via API to add a company number for a SPECFICI Site.We are a multi site environment and we need to abaility to quickly add Holidays at a site basis.Doing this at a queue level is not acceptable as when its out of hours it counts the call as abandoned and skews any metrics…I can add one as a company number but this adds it under the main site.. 

We are currently using three numbers to send SMS to our users, but we’ve noticed that the basic API rate no longer meets our growing demand. As our SMS volume increases, we’re trying to understand how the rate limit is structured.Is the API rate limit set per number (one seat) or is it shared across the entire company account?

Hello.I understand that call recording files are held by RingCentral for 90 days before being deleted.We are trying to get our RedBox system set up to archive these calls. As a contingency we are looking at SFTPing them before our 90 day limit hits. Does anyone know if I start downloading them now via SFTP they will be flagged on Ring Central's system as being downloaded already, or deleted? I don't want to interfere with our potential system which is in development but am a bit concerned that we may loose files if not sorted soon. Many thanks

I have an API that retrieves the company's call log. When I download the detailed report manually from the platform there is a column called Forwarded To that contains some calls that can be inbound or outbound. I want to retrieve those calls as well with the call log API that I already have (or identify those calls if they are already being retrieved). I am not sure that there is an additional API just for those calls (if so, the suggestion is welcomed too).Any help here is appreciated.

Hi Everyone, I’ll give you the context of the situation: I have a program that automatically checks people in my organisations calls they are making (using the Ring Central websocket) against the TPS (telephone preference service). If they flag as true then it sends an SMS notifying the user and (in theory currently) ends the call.The problem is that, while I can end my own calls, I cannot end the calls of others. I understand this is because the system doesn’t allow you to end others calls even if you are a super admin and have Call Control permissions on your app. I have trawled through the documentation and forum but I can’t find any answer. I do not want to create a JWT for every single user and login in each and every time it needs to end a call, it’s long-winded, requires constant monitoring, etc.For additional context, my users use the Ring Central desktop app, therefore there is no device names per say, however they are on the same network. When a customer calls when the call is Answered the script should pass the number into the search for client info of https://app.ezlynx.com What should the rest be. We were using what is in the TAG line below. The URL does open but not the client info.I also tried using the script below and changing Caller_number_raw to just P for phone. It opens the client files but all of them not just one. 

Hi everyone,We’re running into a 403 error (CMN-408) when trying to call the IVR Menu API (restapi/v1/account/*/ivr-menus) with our app. Here’s the setup:We’ve assigned these scopes to our app:CallControl, VoipCalling, ReadContacts, ReadAccounts, TeamMessaging, SubscriptionWebhook, EditPresence, ReadMessages, Faxes, ReadPresence, ReadCallRecording, A2PSMS, Analytics, WebSocket, SubscriptionWebSocket, Contacts, EditExtensions, RoleManagement, Video, RingOut, ReadAuditTrail, SMS, InternalMessages, ReadCallLog, EditMessagesIn the API history (Developer Portal → App → API History), the failed call shows this:App scope: ReadAccounts HTTP status: 403 Error code: CMN-408From what I understand, this error usually means permissions are missing. I am getting the following error when trying to send an SMS from a phone number assigned to a different user in my account. The error message makes mention of the "OutboundSMS" permission, but I do not see that permission in my account. The other day, all of a sudden I started getting 403 Forbidden responses on the /timeline/fetch endpoint. Nothing has changed. All creds are active/valid. The App has the Analytics permission. No idea why this just started happening.

I have been trying to get an access token so I can then make a callout via the API.
