I want to program a button on our receptionists’ Yealink T54W phones that does the same thing as the “Accept Queue Calls” slider in the RingEX app.  One push will toggle it to the opposite setting (on or off).  Receptionists are using their pc/REX app for their own Extension, not the reception phone extension. We want that control on the hardware. Thanks

While using the Ring Central extension, some members of the team who use AirPods to take calls are experiencing that if they are on a Teams call and receive an RC call, it mutes their teams unless they log out. I’ve asked them to use a different headset in the meantime, but wanted to report the bug.

I need help connecting with a high level customer support leader at Ring Central.  I have been in weekly sometimes bi weekly contact with our account executive, TCR support team, and  back-office support teams on the application since we originally filed it in November. Our SS4 form, website, and TCR application have been reviewed by the support team and our account executive and no one is able to determine why the application will not go through. We are now into the 4th month of trying to resolve the issue. I am very disappointed in the experience. If we do not get it resolved by the end of February then we will be ending our services with Ring Central as it was the primary reason for moving to them as a provider.   Here is a brief synopsis of the issue:

Inbound calls to our main line ring a call queue of four people. We would prefer that a call to the main line causes ONLY the desktop handsets to ring. However, if there is an inbound call to a direct extension, we want the app and the handset to ring. I found some year-old threads that discuss this, but the admin settings seemed to have changed and the solutions are no longer viable. 

We have a Yealink T46S and a T415, How do you do a direct call pick-up between the phonesusing DMTF code *58 + ext. number, however get error - “this call cannot be picked up"additional info - We are on a ringex Standard  Plan..

I’m oddly struggling a little bit trying to figure out  how to forward all calls to my toll free company number to a webhook I have on my Ubuntu server.  All the documentation seems to point me to having the end-user pick an extension.  Is there a way to forward all calls in the current admin section? 

When I use Ring Out and the person I'm calling doesn't answer immediately the call transfer to their voicemail.  At the same time they pick up and I hear the voicemail in the background of my call with them.  Why is voicemail and the live call for person called overlap?

​@BeckyH pls assist me in identifying who my CSM is? I demand a refund or partial credit for today on my bill. My staff have not been able to work today - our business is making and receiving calls for lead generation and sales. We have lost a day’s work and i still have to pay staff. Everytime I try to use the intercom, system message is that caller is not set up to accept intercom calls.  I have reviewed every setting in the phone and see no where where I can enable this feature on two sets - between boss & office manager

I have phones that were needed as hot desks for multiple users. Now I need to use those phones as assigned extensions. When I follow the instructions it tells me to remove the line. However, when I do that there is no option to keep it in inventory the line is just deleted. If I try to switch phones, the phone I switch to becomes an hot desk phone.

My questions are in reference to this RingCentral link that states that free users can only receive calls through the company's Auto-receptionist and place calls using RingOut. If they make or receive more than 10 calls in a billing cycle, the account will be charged the cost of an

Haha… the situation is so bad it’s almost funny. Right now, we have a set main line, and multiple people are logged in to it. We’re a small five person company, and have everyone logged into the same line, so that we can all access the voicemails and messages. If we use extensions, then everyone can only see their own individual extension and not the main voicemails and messages. We do not have a front desk administrator or secretary so we can’t have it where everyone cannot see it. I figured it was possible it was the number of phones connected, but this wasn’t a problem before, only recently became a problem. This is a huge issue because recently, when our clients call in, if we’re already on a call, the incoming call automatically mutes both us and the other person, meaning they can’t hear us and we can’t hear them, and we have to hang up on the incoming call to get back to the first one. When making outgoing calls, it announces that the call is being recorded. It interrupts the first couple of seconds of the call and confuses both the patient and myself. Patients have hung up on me because of the announcement. How do we turn it off? It started out of the blue today. Has only happened one time last year but stopped after a couple of days. Thank you.

I have 7 physical phones set up in the office. Each phone is assigned to a user. When I transfer a call to user 1 or just try to ring user 1 by their extension from my quick dial, user 1’s phone doesn’t audibly ring. The call goes to user 1 as it should, but the only phone audibly ringing is user 2’s phone. User 2 does not have a call on their phone, but the sound is coming from their phone.This happens any time any of my users try to dial someone’s desk. Whoever is dialed is getting the call but their phone is not audibly ringing. A different user’s phone is ringing. 

We (co-workers and myself) are able to receive inbound SMS but outbound SMS messages are not being deliverd… HELP

Everytime I untick the box to auto answer calls it still auto answers. Any ideas as to why this is?

We had a working campaign for years but had over 625 numbers so it was recently cutoff. I created multiple (16) of them to make it compliant, but now they all keep being rejected. To be clear, we only text between employees and never do any marketing or spam unsolicited messages. How is a company that doesn’t ever do any marketing or any of the things that TCR is attempting to stop ever become compliant to be able to just send messages between corporate based staff and our field based employees? RingCentral has failed its customers with the lack of clarity on to actually submit a form that will be accepted. 

I have a rather odd problem with my RingCentral Poly VVX 450.I have added multiple Presence Extensions to my phone and the second one in the list never shows on the screen.For example, I have added six other extensions to the phone. each users name shows on the list except for the second in the list. If I remove that extension, the next one in the list disappears, and only shows four names. If I leave a blank line, the blank space will show and the next name in the list disapears.I have tried “resyncing” the phone multiple times, adding and removing extensions but it seems that the second in the list is always missing.

Having some issues with transferring calls between workers using the RingCentral mobile app. I can accept calls just fine, and when I click “transfer” if pops up with different options for our other workers. I click one, and from the customer’s end it rings and rings, and ends in voicemail, but it never actually rings the coworker’s phone. They don’t have it pop up on their phone. They’re receiving other calls on RingCentral just fine. Is there a setting or something to change this? I’ve tried messing with the incoming calls settings on their apps and the outgoing settings on my own phone.  Would be of great help!

Is anyone from the Seattle/Eastside area getting ringing phones, but once you pick up, no audio? We also try to get into the VM messaging center, and no tone, nothing. 

When voicemails go through our company’s call queues, they end up on the shared team email with the transcription. We have stopped receiving them as of 3 this morning. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Under notifications for these numbers, Voicemail messages by Email is checked.

my SMS SERVICE suddenly blocked with notifying me and they are telling me about some TCR services. i have been using SMS services for more than an year now. they are not co-operative and don’t know how to fix the issue. not have good expereince.   

Anyone know the process to get the Mitel 485G telephones custom background to work with the Ring Central product? Previously on Mitel it would be located under the Inetpub folder and phones new when registering to the prem system to check for the image. Now going to Ring Central where/how do we get the phones to look for an image?
