Hello all, New to RingCentral Engage Voice (not Digital). Question - some of our agents are commenting that the system is hanging up on them while in the process of leaving their customers a voicemail on a manual outbound call. I know there are various timers associated with manual outbound calls, but cannot seem to find any information about what may be controlling the amount of time the agents have to leave voicemail messages.Any light that can be shed on this is much appreciated.Happy Holidays!Thank you!Selena

I'm having an issue with the red dot that indicates an unread message on the desktop app icon in the Windows task bar.The dot doesn't go away when I read all the unread messages, even if I click away after reading the last message. I have to close and re-open the RingCentral window every time I read a message in order for the red dot to clear. This does work every time - if I have no unread messages and the red dot is still there, it always clears when I close/reopen. It never clears on its own. My app is up to date... Anyone else having this issue? Thanks!

Hi guys, i need your help. I work as a receptionist and i have a problem with my rc app on my windows desktop. i kept on having missed calls that didn't even rang on my side. there was also no notification of a missed call. The only way that i knew that someone had tried to call me was when i click the call log and thats when i'll find out that i had missed calls. but i was online at that time. and these problem affects my evaluation at work. pls help thank you.

I have an employee that is not checking their messages. Shows 140/204. I want to see what messages they have checked and haven't and review them. How do I do that? When I click the hyperlink, it asks for the extension password. I would think my admin password would work, but it does not.

Hi everyone, I'd appreciate some help. I have 3 shared lines in 1 group, with 3 desktop computers. When I try to add another desktop phone to access that shared line group with 3 lines, it won't allow me to add the phone because I don't have an available license. I don't want another new number, I just want to access the 3 shared lines in the shared group. Thank you

I have trouble launching my RingCentral App this morning. It sets my status as offline and I got the following message: "You are running very low on disk space. "Is this an issue unique to me or is anyone else seeing this? Any advise on how to address the issue? Thanks!

Our company is looking for a cheat sheet (shorthand, play by play) for the softphone app (android/ios). Any search brings up how to install the app or pushes you off into some videos (that ALSO don't answer the questions). We need: - How to connect/disconnect your work number through your softphone app.- How to Warm/Cold transfer through the softphone app.- How to put a call into someone's voicemail through the softphone app.- Other softphone functions between different company users. Basic phone functions that should be available, but there are zero breakdowns on the site. We don't want a "University" Video, we want something people can print and run with. Anyone have anything like that?

If someone is a member of a call queue and they forward their line (not the call queue (mainline) number), does a call that comes to the call queue that they're a member of get forwarded to them as well? Thanks!

Our 4 ring central phone lines connect to 4 hardware phones. Can you use a desktop app with the same lines that are assigned to the hardware phones or do you have to buy additional lines?

how do I get an IVR Menu to be the company auto-receptionist default responder for all incoming calls

With our previous phone system, a caller would get our voicemail greeting; and for immediate help could hit something like "##" and be able to select another extension to be transferred to. For example, I call you and get your voicemail, but your voicemail greeting says, "For immediate help, press "WHAT GOES HERE" to select extension "XXXX" and "X" will be happy to help you. XXXX is another extension selected by caller. "X" is the person's name at that extension. How can this be done so we can add this to our voicemail greeting? ThanksTony

In the HUD you used to be able to go to the Extensions and rearrange the contacts using the 6 dots to the left of the contact. I can pick up and drag but the contact goes back to where it is on the list. Is there something the admin needs to do or did Ring Central update something and they will only be in there the way they are added? Thanks in advance!! :-)

In the link it explains how to change or set the PIN code for someone else's extension. It seems that Ring Central has changed the welcome email that is sent to a new user on new customer accounts, now they only get an option to set the password for the web portal and select a security question. RC has removed the field for setting and verifying the PIN code. As a Super Admin, if you try to set a PIN for a particular extension it only allows you to do this if you know the individuals password, I am able to click on the PIN tab and set/verify the PIN but the Save button is greyed out so it won't allow you to save it.According to Partner Support this is an enhancement....https://support.ringcentral.com/phone/ringcentral-phone-app/changing-resetting-ringcentral-account-PIN.html#admin-portal

A user received an incoming call and after conversing, placed the call on hold for a little over 1 minute.When trying to return to the call the un-hold button no longer responds

Our entire office is experiencing problems since yesterday. Our phone lines show active and available, and we are able to place and receive calls however the person on the other end of the line cannot hear us. At first this was an issue with only our base phones and the computer app and phone app continued functioning properly. Today not only do our base phones not work but our computer and phone apps are not working for a vast majority of employees. Anyone have any issues like this? Our IT department has determined it is not a problem with our servers or internal hardware.

I'd like to change the max voicemail message allowed to 40. If a caller want to leave a voicemail message and the mailbox is full (at 40 limit), I want them to get a message that the mailbox is full.

I want to provide feedback as we feel like it took a step backwards and the current dialer has better functionality. With the New phone experience, you can no longer select the dialer from any page you are on and it takes up half of the window for no reason.

When we transfer a caller internally or attempt to call another extension, our lines repeat the initial greeting ("Hello! Thank you for calling....etc.)We have some customers that have to talk to multiple departments. Having to hear our greeting over and over gets old real quick.Is there a way to turn this off? We would much rather it go to hold music or something.

I am looking to have the Polycom phone (not the app, no computer closeby), ring to an external bell ringer for use in our toolrooms that are very loud. Are these phones compatible with such a system?

I have a user that has RingCentral app installed on her android. When she makes calls and text, it's using the RingCentral app even thought she doesn't want it to. Has anyone ever seen this before?

We have three extensions - me (owner) and two PT employees. The phone always rings to my phone and my desktop, even when they press an extension for the two employees. Am I doing something wrong in the setup? Is there a way for me to tell what extension the caller dialed instead of picking up every call that comes through so I can choose not to answer?In the same light, is it possible to turn off the ringing for me on my mobile and desktop as a super admin unless my extension is dialed?

Phones/Chat down ... It says our line has been disconnected. Our chat isn't working either. Anyone?

When I try to log into my RingCentral App, I get a "504 Gateway Time Out" error. Is the RingCentral App down? I tried clearing my cookies and cache, but it doesn't help. Please advise.I also want to mention that I log into the RingCentral App everyday and have never had issues and this is happening for the first time when logging in on my laptop and on my Android phone.
