I have a desk phone and the mobile app on my cell. When away from my office, I want to set my desk phone to DND so as not to disturb those around me. However, this ALSO keeps my mobile app from ringing and any incoming calls go to voice mail. Is there a way to have desk phone on DND while still allowing mobile app to ring?

I have one phone system user that wants to be able to answer calls coming in to 2 (or 3) different direct numbers. I set up a call queue for one of the numbers and it works fine through the IVR menu that I set up. (Press 4 for xxxx). However, one other number cannot go through IVR, so if I forward it to the user's phone, he has no idea that it is coming from that "special" number. Is there a way around this?

Does anyone know how to contact RingCentral support?The phone system at Ring Central and chat seems broken.

I noticed that some incoming calls display my own name and number instead of the caller's. What could be the reason for this?

I am having DTMF issues, tones not being recognized.. I have changed and tested every setting that I can find to try and fix this issue with no success (different dtmf settings and audio codec settings). Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

We have been having this issue for months where anytime we log in to our RC desktop apps, there will be random tasks missing. Regardless of if the tasks are one time messages or regularly repeating tasks, they might just not show up in the task list. It seems to be entirely random as sometimes they seem to all show and others, entire categories of tasks will not show or random tasks that vary from day to day will not show. It seems to be different tasks that will not show or will show from day to day. The only way to get them to show is to search for them specifically in the search bar and click on each individual one. It is an ongoing issue that continuously causes problems in our office each day. Im sure it would be easy to imagine the kinds of problems it causes when office staff will come in day to day and tasks that have to do with their work each day will just randomly not show up.

Reception Main number is set up and able to make external calls. However when calling our corporate office and using *(passcode) to directly reach the department for issue we need help with, partway thru dialing the 7 digit passcode (after the *) is sends the call to another internal extension. It did not used to do this nor does this happen on any other extensions.

We need to add another subsidiarie located in Nice (postal code 06). Is it possible to port the Nice DID numbers to the Paris site without creating a site for Nice?Thks in advance

Hi, on our system we have 10 extensions with built in monthly call allowance of 500 mins each. We also have 12 Limited Extensions. I know that if any of the 10 full extensions do not use the 500 mins, they are put into a pool that can be utilised by other extensions. Does this mean Limited Extensions can also make use of this pool of call time?

I will lose the park locations on the desk phone (wx-350) when I add extension in the app. The phone display will display the extension but the park locations are removed. Beside using the app, is there a way to keep park on the phone and still add the extension on the app?

We've only been on RingCentral since the summer, and lately, most outgoing SMS messages fail. Based on reading other people's questions on the same topic, I gather this is common and that RingCentral's stock answer is "we sent it to the carrier, they didn't deliver it, nothing we can do about it." Does anyone have a solution or work-around? status.ringcentral.com says everything is fine, but it's not, and it's almost impossible to get a human being on the phone. Do they always just lie like this? Thinking seriously of breaking our contract.

Hello, We have a issue with all our phone, per exemple : When the user "Alexandre" call "Adrien", the displaying name on the both phone are correct. But if "Adrien" transfert "Alexandre" to "John", the displaying name on Alexandre phone will not be john but Adrien. What we want to do seems quite simple but I seem to be stuck.During working hours: We want calls to the main number to go directly to the front desk and be routed from there without the need for any keypresses. Personal attention, not bots, when possible.Off Working hours: Into a very basic IVR menu: type extension, 2 - leave voicemail or 3 - company directory.It seems that if I invoke an IVR at all, it requires a keypress from the caller--which we do NOT want during work hours.I'm not sure what I'm missing.

We'd like to set up two IVR menus - one for business hours and one for after hours. We'd like to switch to the after hours menu during lunch or when we're all out on appointments. Is there a way to automate changing IVR menus from business to non-business and then another way to "flip" to the non-business hour menu when we're all out?

I use the RingCentral app on my cell phone, and not on my computer. I have a wired Jabra headset that I use to make calls plugged in with a USB-A connection. When I make calls using my normal cell phone number, I can hear a normal amount of my own voice (sidetone) in the headset. I'm also available to adjust that amount of sidetone using a Jabra app.However, I can't hear any sidetone when using the RingCentral app. My headset earpieces cover my ear, so I can't hear myself that well when making calls. This results in an uncomfortable conversation and me speaking a lot louder than I want.Support has not been any help so far. Anybody have any suggestions?

I just don't really understand what it means, why not just "Connecting to the Agent" for example?

HUD is an easy place for my team to have all staff displayed. I can go to Contacts>Company, but that list doesn't display the user availability or status. I noticed one of my users's HUD is empty. I can add extensions manually, but that's is a pain. How could I set up that by default, all my staff has all staff on HUD? there's gotta be an easier way to manage it, rather than asking users to set up their own. Thank you!
