I am using SENNHEISER PC 3 CHAT ON-EAR Headphone and I am getting the error below while using it on RC desktop app. Already tried reinstalling app and mic drivers. The headphone is working fine with other devices. It was working with RC as well a few weeks ago but not sure what changed recently?"Failed to detect your microphone. Please make sure your microphone is properly connected or check microphone configuration settings."

I have two phone numbers on my account. One number, the 'main' number is my business number and requires a business voicemail message. The other number is my family home number, which requires a 'friendly' voicemail message. How can I set up this cenario.

Anyone else getting an email notification of a voicemail BEFORE the message is displayed in the RC phone? I've had voicemails in the app delayed by hours and sometimes it doesn't arrive in the phone until the next day, but the email arrived. I've had other notification problems and was told to Purge the data, but that doesn't seem to affect the voicemails (it's also a nuisance).Anyone else have this happen? Is there a setting I could change to get the voicemails in the app more timely?Thanks!

Hey there all,I recently provisioned and set up a number of Polycom VVX 411 phones here at our office. We are also using the Polycom Color Expansion Module (or sidecar) to more easily transfer calls to other phones in our system. With our previous provider, the BLF aspect of the sidecar was active and would allow of us to see when other phones were currently on a call.However, once we transferred to RingCentral, this feature does not seem to be working as it should. The extensions still show up properly on the sidecar, but it does not seem to be utilizing the BLF aspect, as the keys do not light up when one of said extensions answers a call. I have added all our phones into the same ring group, so all incoming calls can be answered by any of our employees, but the BLF keys are not lighting up nonetheless.Does anyone have an idea on how to activate the BLF function of the line keys? Any assistance or suggestions with this issue would be most appreciated.

In order to get the MVP Client to work on our enterprise network, will we need to setup a policy to bypass our proxy servers for *.ringcentral.com?

Calls don’t work in the desktop app but do work through the Chrome extension.When I try making calls from the web app at app.ringcentral.com, I have the same problem. This has been going on for over a month and RC support can't seem to resolve what seems like a simple whitelist issue. they keep saying they have escalated the issue. that is if we can get anyone to talk to us at all. Today like many days SMS is not working at all. Case #14006406.

Ringcentral gave me a digital license and 858 phone number when I started at my last firm. I got tired of making my boss rich and started my own firm. He was kind enough to let me keep my number and transfer it to a new RingCentral account with my own company. (so generous of him!) After opening my own RC account and transferring that digital number to new RC account, the name of my last company still shows up when I call using that number. I've changed this to my company name in every way possible via admin settings. Any suggestions?

I have been trying to get a decent quality IVR prompt. It sounds good when I play them in the admin panel, but when I actually call my business to check functionality they sound like crap. RC help said it's because it's VOIP and packets and stuff. But I'm just checking if there is some file type and settings that work better.WAV or MP3? And what output quality for either? Any suggestions?

Our main phone number goes directly to a ring group that rings all extensions. Unfortunately, many people text us at this number (mostly spam). How do I reply text from that number to “STOP”? I can only reply from my local extension, not the main number.

RingCentral Mobile App has a bug when receiving an inbound call using headphones. It will always default the Mobile speaker first then manually have to set the audio. Outbound calls work good with the headphone.

We have a person out on maternity leave for several months. Her manager wanted her calls forwarded to a coworker. What we discovered is that only when the coworker is logged in and able to answer the phone are the calls forwarded, if not, the calls revert back to the voicemail of the person on maternity leave. I do not understand this. If the person is out why would the call go back to their voicemail, it should go the coworkers voicemail where the calls are being forwarded to, as though the caller called the coworker directly.We also discovered that if the coworker is using the Glip phone, calls cannot be forwarded because the Glip phone is not considered a true end point, per RingCentral Technical Support. I don't understand this either why am able to call the coworker on their Glip phone but I cannot forward calls to them on their Glip phone?

Hello all,First time poster, and new RingCentral customer. I have a question about the setup and provisioning process for Polycom phones that are currently in service with another provider.My organization is transferring our main number, and therefore all our extension deskphones, to RC on November 30th. I am currently building out our phone and user directories, but I am not sure how exactly running the Setup and Provision process for our deskphones will affect our current service. Once the devices in our system are provisioned, will that interfere with our ability to use the Polycoms during the interim period before Nov 30th? Should I instead wait until the transfer has actually finished to provision?Any information on this matter would be most appreciated. Thanks!Sincerely,Nick Newman

I have RC MVP with Nice Incontact CXOne Contact Center. I have implemented the IVR within CXOne to route calls into my contact center ques. I want to allow customers to Dial By Name or Extension as a Menu Option. I cannot figure out how to integrate the RC Phone Directory and allow Dial By Name/Extension via MVP.

From an extension, in the Call Forwarding and Voicemail | Work Hours rules, I am attempting to forward a call to multiple external "Numbers" (not "Coworkers"). I have it set to "Ring all at once" and have 5 numbers listed. These numbers are cell phones.The recipients report that only two of them are getting the calls forwarded to them. 3 are not getting calls at all. Is there a limit set to external numbers to receive forwarded calls from a single extension? If so, what is that limit. Is this documented anywhere?

I have recently ported numbers into Ring Central from another provider. The transfer was successful and the numbers are in my phone inventory. However, when I try to assign these numbers to an extension(existing user) it fails and tells me to try again later.I have been on the phone with support and level 2 support they mention this a known issue.It is hard to believe that Ring Central isn't working for any ported numbers? They must be losing business over this and is about to lose my business.Anyone else experiencing problems with assigning ported numbers to existing users?

Hello Support,Currently, caller ID number dictation is absent when listening to voicemails by phone; the listener only hears the date and time and the message itself.I presume this is in response to unsolved bug case # JIRA CNV-28823 (seen here in this thread) where voicemail caller ID's were being announced numerically ("two-billion, one-hundred million-"....etc) instead of phonetically ("two-one-"....etc), and RC has simply chosen to disable the feature until a fix is implemented.

Hi,Is there an option to take over calls from another call queue? I know you can set options on how long a caller has to wait unitll it gets transferred to another call queue. But we would like to option to get notified when another call queue gets called. Sometimes a department is off duty and then it would be lovely if another call queue can take that call.

Hi - where can I find faxes that are scheduled to send at a later time? I want to be able to see that the faxes I have schedules to send later are indeed scheduled and waiting to be sent. So far I have schedules 2 faxes to be sent at a later time, and I am only able to see one fx marked as "submitted", but does not show any information about scheduled time to send, etc. I see it in the "Sent" folder of the RingCenteral Windows program v. Version: 21.4.26.269 Web, 20.4.20.2685 Windows. However, when I click to "view" this fax I get the following error: "Invalid or corrupted PDF files" When I click "More Information" for this error it states "PDF.js v1.6.264 (build: 47a1c77) Message: Invalid PDF structure". Same problem in RingCenteral Phone App. Can only see 1 of the 2 faxes I scheduled to send at later time with no information about the date and time it is supposed to be sent. When I try to view the fax, I get the same erro

My boss and I both use the RingCentral app to communicate. Normally, to start a video call with me, from within the Messages tab he simply clicks the 'Start Video Call' video icon beside my name. As of yesterday, when he does this, he gets the message "The meeting is over. You cannot join now" and the video call ends itself. I can see him calling me in our messages but cannot answer. This problem does not happen when I am the one calling him.

I'm building a custom answering rule for a call queue used by one of our departments. This is a holiday schedule, actually.Question is about the called number condition. Can I leave that blank, and then all calls hitting the queue will be handled per the rest of the custom rule?

I would like to change the routing of calls from specific contacts to specific extensions. For example. we have two offices with distinct local numbers. I would like for any call from Mike Smith to go to extension 98 regardless of the number he called. Is this possible?

I keep trying to log into the highvolumesms.com site and it tell me I need to disable pop-ups. They are. I've also tried using three different browsers and the site doesn't allow me to log in on any of them. Is this an issue that just arose? I was logged in yesterday.
