This was a post 2 years ago. I followed advise to block the number on the Super Admin extension, but the call keeps coming though to the Message-Only extension. I also tried going to Message-Only extensions and clicking on the msg. 45/45 for the company name but in there, I don't see an options for blocking the number in there. Only the option via 3 dots, to Download or Forward. Anyone able to assist ?

For the past several months, we've had our users adopt the new RC app to replace RC Classic. However, the RC Classic app somehow keeps reinstalling itself within hours or by the next day (after a reboot), and then becomes the default app that opens at startup instead of the new RC app.How can we fully uninstall the RC Classic app from Windows 10 systems? This is taking up way too much of our bandwidth. I have started just leaving RC Classic installed on our systems (been through this loop four times myself), though that is really not the solution we expect.I do have an open case on this, but it's been on PKI Hold since January.

I was on https://support.rincentral.com/download.html site looking for the RingCentral Phone download but am only able to find RingCentral App for End-Users.  Where was the RingCentral Phone download moved to?In our situation the full RingCentral app does not work for our receptionists.

We currently have two RingCentral instances — one in the U.S. and another in India — each with a different unique ID (UID). Is it possible to enable extension-to-extension calling between these two instances?

So I am wanting to create an Alert so that when an agent has been on a call for 10 minutes it will ping them to say they are approaching an extended call and need to start wrapping up or to raise an extended call request.I am unsure on which of the Fields to use under the Agent product to use for the “Alert When”. 

I have sent faxes by opening a PDF, selecting Print and choosing RingCentral from the printers list. After the fax is sent, I click the "eye" icon in RC for Windows to see what the fax looks like, and the image quality is terrible. Is this what my customers are seeing when I send them a fax?

In the last week I had a couple of voicemail messages that did not make sense.  They appeared in some way malicious but I can’t figure out the angle. One sounded completely silent but had a somewhat natural but nonsensical text and another one was completely garbled and incomprehensible to me but again the automated transcription came pretty clear.  It feels like hidden nonsense messages within audio but I can’t figure out what could be the use.  

How can I turn off AI feature for all users?

We are having a couple issues with automatic call recording.When our people call out and they call a number that has a virtual assistant, our call recording message plays over the virtual assistant options. Should this be happening? We have customers that hang up as soon as the call recording message starts playing when we call because they think they are talking to a robot or spam. Has anyone found anything that helps with this? We tried putting our company name in the first part of it so they would know it was us, but that isn’t working as well as we hoped, and now the message is super long.

I wanted to get a Teams notification each time a change occurs on our platform, like a user is updated or deleted - so we could see if people are adding or deleting people without us knowing. The Subscriptions API sounded ideal - and it’s working, to an extent. Each time there’s an update to an extension (user), I get a notification via Webhook to Teams.The problem is, the content of the “event” is… minimal. Is it possible to add a new contact (a name and number for example) via the API so when a customer signs up there info is automatically added to RingCentral so if and when they call we have their name to show on the screen?

We have a couple users (Danica and Melody), who's caller ID shows "possible spam risk" to the person they are calling.

We use Ring Central Polycom VVX 450s across our organization. I have 2 phones that are occasionally de-registering themselves and stating “No Service” then moments later will come back up. I don’t think it has anything to do with PoE as the phones will stay on during this time. The firewall is allowing for connections out to the IP/Port. Would having inbound connections limited affect this? The phones are on two different switches. Again this is only happening to 2 phones that I’m aware of, out of the 90+ in our environment. Any help would be appreciated. Hi all! We have been having an ongoing issue for weeks that has become quite frustrating. Every time we run a campaign (even if the campaign is still open) we are unable to download any reports regarding that campaign. It is pivotal that we have that information as that excel sheet is the basis for follow-up campaigns the next week. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we are at our wits end. Hi Team,I’ve already added the required RingSense scopes to my application, but I still cannot retrieve the transcript and summary from the RingSense API. Every request returns a 403 Forbidden error.When I tried to access this API to get transcript & summary, it looks like not be granted permission:Question:Are there additional permissions or entitlements required to access transcript and summary data from RingSense?Expected Result:Able to retrieve call insights (transcript + summary) for valid record IDs once scope is granted.

Hello,My Yealink T33G phones keep resetting nightly. I’ve emailed Yealink at the direction of RingCentral Technical Support and this is what they directed but I cannot figure out within the phone IP log in how to update these settings. Any help is appreciated!  

HiI am working on a workflow that has some JS and I need to play different audio file greeting based on the DNIS of the incoming call. I am able to handle the DNIS and put in if condition for it but I am not able to play the audio prompt in the next node. get var P3 = "Name_of_Audio_File" And the next node is as follows  When I test call the workflow I get no audio.  Has any one been able to play audio file by using the file name in an a variable ?

Pulling my hair out.basiically , i’m writing a websocket listener (using php/laravel) to listen for incoming calls.i following the sample provided by RingCentral and Not able to get this working. (using theSDK) The code create the socket, then the subscription, however the subscription->subscription() returns{"eventFilters":[],"expirationTime":"","expiresIn":0,"deliveryMode":{"transportType":"PubNub","encryption":false,"address":"","subscriberKey":"","secretKey":""},"id":"","creationTime":"","status":"","uri":""} Shouldn’t the transportType = websocket?the code ran, but does not invoke whenever we have incoming calls.P.s I do have websocket and websocket subscription in my app scope. using JWTClient ID: 8wZCaIqPR4S2JP8UPr2RTwThank You! 

I could really use some help getting started with this scenario: sending an SMS from a MS Power Flow.  I have a Power App that needs to notify students via SMS that they have a package ready for pickup.  I have some limited experience using REST API’s and I’m struggling to complete the Authentication step.  I have created a dev app in RingCentral.  I created a JWT connected to that app.  Power Flow has an HTTP connector, but I can’t find a good example of what I need to put in the header and body. I have been trying to use the OAuth doc here: RingCentral RingEX API Reference | RingCentral Developers, but have not got the authentication request working.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Especially if you can provide a screenshot of your steps in Power Flow (minus your secrets of course).  Thank you.
