Does anyone know how to remove the Intercom and Page keys from the display screen.  They were gone with our previous phone service but we can’t figure out to remove them since converting to RingCentral.  Thanks!

I need to speak with someone who can help me understand the rejection reasons for our application. I looked up the codes, but I still don’t understand the issue. I don’t think the application is adequately explaining our use case. Who can I speak with? I’d like to help above the level one support offered via the SMS hotline. It seems like we’re close, but I don’t want to guess and go back and forth with multiple attempts.

The AI works fine in English, it produces a transcript, and a summary of my calls.  However, most of my clients speak Spanish so I speak to them in Spanish. How do I set up the AI to do a transcript in Spanish?

Hello,I am developing an integration with RingCentral to retrieve contacts. From reviewing the documentation, I understand that there are two types of contacts: External contacts – specific to a user Internal contacts – managed at the company level Using the Address Book API, I am able to create external contacts. However, when I open the RingCentral app, I don’t see a dedicated tab in the Contacts menu that displays the contact I created.Additionally, I would like to know if it is possible to enable and manage custom fields for contacts. If so, after creating a contact through the API, is there a method to update or customize additional fields programmatically, or is this functionality only available through the Admin Portal?Thank you very m

We are attempting to receive full transcripts as a trigger for our N8N workflow automation. Once RingSense insights are generated, we want to send those over via a POST request from RingCentral to N8N. I am familiar with how to forward calls with custom rules and while on the line. However I have users that need to forward their calls to external numbers when they leave the office, which could be at any time. I was informed by support there was no way to do this so I am coming here for a solution.

I need incoming callers to hear the phone ringing.  Then I want the receptionist to answer the ringing phone.  My customers are just getting dead space so they are all hanging up.  I want them to hear the ring, we answer the phone and then transfer to the appropriate extension.  If the receptionist does not answer the phone on the 4th ring then I would like the phone to go to voicemail.  I get everything figured out and then one day it just changes all by itself.

My business has used Ring Central for our toll-free number service for many years. In the past few months, we have been getting increasing numbers of robo calls. These calls (with no person on the other end) are answered, and the company greeting is played instructing the caller to push the appropriate extension. The robo caller obviously does not push an extension, and the company greeting plays a second time before disconnecting a process that takes about 2-1/2 minutes. We are now receiving approximately 45 robo calls per day, so that is about 112 toll free minutes we are charged for in one day. We are billed by RingCentral for the additional minutes over our plan. These calls are coming from all different numbers that have the caller ID spoofed. When we have tried to call back some of these numbers, we get some people to answer and they always have no idea about us and didnt make the call. Anyone know how to easily cancel a RingCentral account?  I’ve grown tired of their terrible support.  

Just seeing if there is any new information in Ring Central about stopping robo and spam calls. We have some users that just a ton of them even though I toggled on the ‘robo-call’ setting. I know everyone has to deal with this, but just curious if there were any updates. 

Hello All, Apologies for the verbose title but I wanted it to articulate my companies issue clearly. Here is what's happening:Our company integrates with RC for many of our customers in order to obtain and track their telephony data. To accomplish this, we create webhook subscriptions for each account on behalf of a user from the account. The issue with this approach is that when that user leaves, a new user must authenticate with RC and thus, another subscription is created. The new webhook subscription itself is not the issue but rather, the old subscription which isn't deleted. Since the old subscription was made by a user we no longer track in our system, we cannot view or delete the old subscription via the RC API (https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/subscription). My Windows app freezes completely and quitting and restarting doesn't help. I have to actually launch a Task Manager and kill the app and then restart it. By freeze what I mean is, tapping on anything on the app has no response. This seems to occur when I switch WiFi network, although I am not 100% certain. Has anyone seen this? It is pretty annoying! Now I have a work around it is not a blocking issue, but it seems like a bug.I also notice, when I "quit" the app from the menu, there are still RingCentral processes lingering when I look at Task Manager.

We have a number of teams , Sales, Marketing, Delivery. I want to have the option to dig down into those teams to transfer a call or to see the status. Is there a way to do this?

I have spent countless hours on the phone with support just to add an option to workflow studio for our IVR options.  If the caller presses ‘2’, I want the call transferred to an external number.  Is that really so hard to do that even RC support is unable to do this?  Is there someone on this thread I can pay to help me support this monstrosity of a phone system? We are a fam med clinic and no one in our area supports Ring Central so by default, that lands on me.  I am willing to pay for help!  Thanks.  

I am trying to generate a report for a message only extension to find out how many calls come through that line. This report will be run on a weekly basis.

I’m looking for a solution to the issue described here:When I get a call from a call queue if I click "Ignore Call" on my desktop app the Incoming Call screen goes away and then pops right back up a few seconds later.There must be a way to make this happen, right? My idea is to create fake users to put at the end of my fixed order call queue. That way when my actual users have hit ignore, the fake extensions will “ring” one by one until the maximum wait time is reached (so in my case, 3 rings/15 seconds per fake user, 1 minute timeout, I would have 4 fake users so that I can ensure the call never circles back to my actual users). This obviously isn’t an elegant solution and would consume 4 licenses (not cool), has anyone found a better way of making this happen using Ring Central’s existing features?

We have turned on incoming call recording for most of our extensions.  We excluded a few extensions (executives).  But when these executives call other extensions, they are recorded since incoming calls to that extension are set to record.  How can we exclude certain extensions to never be recorded, even when calling other extensions that are set to record incoming calls?  We are also fine with recording ONLY incoming calls from external sources and excluding all internal calls.  But a Ring Central FAQ said this is not possible.  I realize there is an option to only record call queues, but this isn’t enough since many calls are direct and don’t go through a queue.  I’m confident there are other companies that want to exclude certain people from being recorded from all calls.  How do they achieve this?

All of a sudden, after working fine, when I turn on video in RC it turns the video container all one color with no buttons or controls.My camera works fine by itself, and works fine in other applications.
