I have the RingCentral Windows Desktop App, I am also using RingCentral Meeting. When I am logged into a meeting can my Status be set automatically to 'Busy'.

I m building one web app using the ringout api .I just want to know is there anyway using which i can get the access token without redirecting the application user to ringcentral website from my application .

So we are working with the RingCentral integration with Salesforce and we were looking to get the Omni Channel working inside Salesforce. Example when we take a call the Omni Channel updates to busy, they hang up the call they are available. I am looking to see if anyone has gotten this to work through a workaround or building their own integration between RingCentral and Salesforce.

Does Glip/RingCentral app automatically launch on sys start by default?Can you control this command on a global level for all users? If not, I can create a new GPO to force this action.thanks

After so many of my clients have ended up with my cell phone number and text me at all hours - I decided I would finally upgrade my Ringcentral account that I ahvehad for about 12 years to the business plan that will allow that.I can;t seem to get the RC app set up to receive texts though and wondering if it's just not really capable of what I need.I have a main account number (which i never use) and 2 business phone numbers that I answer with diff business names. I ahvealways just forwarded voice calls to my cell using the called number so I keep straight which way to answer - so I have never used the RC app.Now with wanting texting - I have to use the app - but it is looking like I have to sign into and out of each number in order to receive texts - which would totally defeat the purpose.Am I missing something or shuldI just revert to my previous less expensive plan and find an alternate solution (

We currently have an application running in production where we send out 150-200 SMS messages once every week to provide our contract workers a link to a form where they submit their time availability.We have run into an issue where some of our contractors are not receiving the messages that were sent out. Checking our logs, it shows they were sent a message, it was delivered, and read. They were able to receive a message when I made a single API call to the SMS endpoint, but do not receive them when the messages are being sent out from our application.We have seemed to uncover that the majority of people not receiving the messages are T-Mobile/MetroPCS users. We took the time to consider carriers filtering out our messages, which is why we built in a 6 second delay between sending each message to throttle the application some. If our messages are still being eventually dropped by the carrier, specifically one, is there anything more we can do

An important metric monitored by my customers' is the 'number of abandons' per day. Is there a way to view the "total number of abandons" or "the abandon %" for a skill on the DASHBOARD?the SLA widget factors abandons AND calls not handled in a specific time frame. I'm looking for ONLY the abandon number of %.thxkh

Let's say I have a webhook subscribed at the RingCentral for receiving the call events. I am successfully receiving the call events. I want to know if the webhook will become inactive / blacklisted at any point after the successful subscription? If so, what could be the reasons for that ?If it becomes inactive/blacklisted, how it can be reactivated again ?

I have integrated my CRM eAgent with Ring Central for my call group. Unfortunately, when a client calls, the CRM launches for everyone, not just the rep who answers. I am told by the CRM vendor that Ring Central needs to have a "Launch only on answer" feature. The RC tech support people have not heard of this so I am hoping this function exists somewhere. It was present in two other VOIP providers so RC must have the capability to enable it. Anyone know where it is or how to activate it?

On the salesforce log a call window (the window that is installed as part of the RingCentral app that is installed in a Salesforce org) - - I need to add an additional field that is on the ActivityHistory record. (That's the record that the window writes to).My Question is - is there a way to modify this page? Is there a way to write my own custom page? Are there any experts that have been into that portion of integration?Thanks

I am new to FAX sending using RingCentral. Is it possible to integrate another database into RingCentral so when a call comes in the information is pulled from the external database and a link within RingCentral is available to view the profile in the other database? Can this be done by external developers?

Hey! My name is Shane! I've been needing help setting up my RingCentral desktop app (Mac) to open Chrome and then search my CRM for the number calling. Using the "execute commend" under settings in RingCentral desktop (Mac) I can get it to open Chrome using the following command:open "/Applications/Google Chrome.app"And I can successfully open my CRM (HubSpot) and search my contacts for the caller number using this command:https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/4253985/contacts/list/view/all/?query=%PBut I cannot do both. How can I implement SingleSignOn when connecting to RingCenral using ringcentral-csharp-client SDK? We have an inhouse application which instantiates RCclient, in this stage of development we are connecting using main account credentials. Unfortunately we are running into API limits since the app may have many instances (up to 100) for each of our users.We do not want to ask for RC credentials as we already have SingleSingOn using Office365 working.Is there a way to make this work with RC connection programmatically?

Anything I enter there (any url, any script) triggers twice when I am called. when using the test button, it only triggers once. But when a call actually comes through, it is triggering twice. Does this happen to anyone else?

We are demoing RingCentral.Our current phone system looks at the caller ID of the inbound call and submits it to an in-house developed API that returns with where to route the call.This API does a lookup based on the caller ID inside our customer management system then calculates what queue/extension to route the call to.Is there something within RingCentral that allows for a 3rd party API to do something like this?
