Why am I not able to send offensive words via text in ringcentral. Is there a control. Can this be turned off? Please let me know.

Calls not answered after idle time

Hello. We are using https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-softphone-ts for answering the phone. But after some idle time at night (like 12 hours or so) if we call this phone number the call is not answered automatically. this.softphone.on('invite', async (inviteMessage: InboundMessage) => {…}Could you please help us how we can make sure that we are answering the calls even after some time that sever is running?Thanks.

Google Contacts / MacOS Launch External App

We’ve identified a possible bug identified for the RingCentral MacOS app. We are running the latest version.We have our RingCentral app (Mac and iOS) synced with our Google Contacts (list of 8000 contacts). When our line rings, the iOS and Mac app always correctly displays the name of the client calling based on our integration with Google Contacts.However we have identified a possible bug when using:"Launch an external app or website for incoming calls"When launching an external app built and passing the full name and full number of the customer calling (%N and %P respectively) as parameters, the RingCentral app does not reliably pass the customers name when it is able to display it within the MacOS app absolutely fine.We have identified that the above works fine if the client rings for a second occasion, but on the first occasion the clients name is not passed in the parameters. We have debugged this and believe this to be an error in the RingCentral app. We believe that this is beca

Hello, OAU-141 - Authentication is prohibited due to an inappropriate user stateI’ve started getting these errors in production. It has worked fine for the longest time and I’m not sure what’s causing this. The first time I got it I stopped the process and waited several minutes before starting it again which worked fine. This time that doesn’t seem to be working.Any help appreciated as I cannot find any information about this error.

Calendly can give me their API. is there anything ringcentral can do to use that to integrate the product. I'd love to have the video calling features to be integrated with Calendly app. Currently they are integrated with Zoom and it makes things easy

SendingFailed Triggered When Sending My Website Link Only

I am using Zapier for this API integration. When I try to send a test message to my phone with a link to the scheduling page on my website, I get the SendingFailed status. However, when I use various test links such as google.com, amazon.com, or even a small local company in my city like https://bendbeautyspa.com/ the test message always goes through. Is there something I’m missing? I’ve sent text messages with links to my website in the past but now this error code appears.

Many years ago when we launched the RingCentral Developer Platform we provided every developer with a free account to try out our APIs and develop applications against them. This free account was called the RingCentral Developer sandbox. What is the correct process for integrating my application with RingCentral to send faxes?

I am a developer for an application where we want users to be able to send their contacts faxes. Currently, the way we have the integration with RingCentral built is that each customer needs to make their own RingCentral developer account, create their own private application in RingCentral, and then enter their own JWT token, client ID, and client secret into our application. This process is clearly too long and technical for an average user, so I was wondering how the process should work for integrating RingCentral into our application.After talking to a RingCentral rep, I was told that a correct step would be for us, the developers of our application, to make a public app in RingCentral that our users then utilize to send their faxes. Here is where I have some questions:1. If each RingCentral public app has its own client ID and secret that our application would use to communicate with it, do our customers even have to know of the client ID and secret at all?2. I am using the Call Log APIs and I want to deploy them on a server. Is there a way to create a refresh token without redirecting to a specific URL?

When I log in through the Call Log APIs, I am redirected to the URL that I provided in the app during the API setup.I need to retrieve the call log, then fetch the recordings for the calls, and finally download them from the ContentURI.Is it possible to authenticate without being redirected to that URL?Please help me with this issue. Authorization code flow for Multiple extension(users)

Hello, I am upgrading Ring-central api password flow to Authorization code flow, I have multiple extension where I were used password flow to get the call records , sending sms etc. but now I have to upgrade with Outh flow. Answer event comes too early in softphone-sdk.

We are trying to initiate the call using https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-softphone-js and stream some audio into the call after the call is answered. But it looks like `answered` events come too early before even the phone itself rings. Actually, it comes right after the call was created.I am using the demo for outbound calls from the repository https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-softphone-ts/blob/main/demos/outbound-call.tsYou can see in the logs that `ANSWERED` event comes in the same second as the previous event, right after the call was started.

What is call status "Proceeding"?

Could some explain the scenario for call status "proceeding" for both party's?We got a call events (outbound call) from ring central through web hook subscription and We could see both parties(party1 and party2) call status showing "proceeding". Through out the call We didn't receive any "Answered" status events for both parties. After 80 seconds we got disconnected events then call was disconnected from both parties. Need to understand the scenario when both parties will show "proceeding" status without answered status Could you please let me know whether call will be record or not in ring central if call will be disconnected without getting answered status?

How to know if an incoming call is a transfer?

Is it possible to know if an incoming call is a transferred call from another of our users using the webRTC phone? We saw that with https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Extension-Telephony-Sessions-Event we can check the Session Status Info reason but before we start implementing something with the subscription api, we want to see if the webRTC phone already provides us this information.
