Listening to voicemails on headset?

I am having an impossible time trying to get support for an issue on the new app. Since having installed the newest version, I can no longer listen to my voicemails on my headset! I have reached out to customer support, who only verified that I had all the correct settings in place, and suggested I post here. This has been quite disappointing. IF I do want to listen to a VM, I need to do so via my computer speakers. Sure wish the dev team would address this quickly. The old version worked like a charm in this regard.

Outbound Calls being marked as spam

Good afternoon,  Our company migrated to RC about 3 months ago and are still having persistent issues with outbound calls being marked as spam. We ported over numbers from a lot of different providers but nearly all my users are now back to using the same phone numbers they used to have and have their Outbound Caller ID set to their respective company/office number. We are also using a Custom Caller ID but that doesn’t even show up when I’ve tried calling my own phone or others, just the company number that’s set as outbound.Despite this, they are still being marked as spam by our customers. I have two questions. 1. Is there a simple step I’ve overlooked to prevent this issue from happening? 2. If not, it looks like my last resort would be to try the Free Caller Registry. I’ve downloaded the cnam list from our RC account already. When I register does each number need to have the same Display Name (aka the Custom Caller ID)?I’d prefer to have the display name match the given office loca

already did trouble shooting with Frontier Agent , try to get assistance with ring central.unable to get access due to creating a ring central case #.need help getting technician to come to our office. its been more than one month to trouble shoot this issue. we need this to be fixed asap.

How to view what failed by fax?

When we send a fax that fails, the only option is “delete” or “re-send”.  How can we view what we were trying to send?  Once it sends successfully, you can use the eye icon to view it but there is no icon like this under a failed fax.  This is a problem as we have no idea what it was we were sending out to look into it?

Phone coverage.

Hi all,How do I setup user coverage on RingCentral?  By coverage I mean that if a user is getting a call and she’s not able to pickup, then whoever is assigned to cover his/her phone will start to ring and able to pickup call, then if nobody can answer the calls, then it goes to the voicemail of the first intended user since that is the destination the caller was trying to reach.Thanks

On the Main line if you call the other extensions it will give you an error message that intercom calls will not be accepted even though it’s been programmed.

Issue with RingCentral App on iPhone – Calls Not Ringing Properly

Dear RingCentral Support Team,I'm writing to report a recent issue I've encountered with the RingCentral app on my iPhone. Since Wednesday of this week, I've noticed that calls to extension (147) are not ringing correctly on my iPhone. My user is Eliot Houman, extension 101. Specifically, the app only rings for about half a second on my iphone and then stops, making it impossible to answer calls on my iPhone. These calls are supposed to be routed simultaneously to both my desktop app and my mobile phone. While the desktop app rings normally for the full duration of the call, the issue seems to be isolated to the mobile app on my iPhone.This abrupt stop in ringing is causing significant inconvenience, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Could you please investigate this issue and provide guidance on how to fix it?Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Cursor Focus Issue When Starting New Text Message in Web App

Hi RC team and fellow users,I’m writing to flag a persistent UX flaw in the RingCentral web app that slows down high-volume SMS workflows.When I click the “Send New Text” icon (speech bubble + icon on the left pane), the modal that appears defaults cursor focus to the “Text From” field instead of the “To” field. This is counterintuitive. I rarely change the sending number and would argue most users don’t. The natural first step is to enter the recipient, yet I’m forced to manually click or use keyboard navigation to get where the focus should’ve been in the first place.This adds friction, especially when sending dozens of texts daily. It’s a small detail with a compounding cost in productivity.Feature request: Either change the default behavior so that focus is placed on the “To” field upon opening the modal, or better yet, add a user preference to set default cursor focus between fields.If there’s an existing workaround or custom script others have used to fix this, I’m all ears. pickup parked calls

We setup call park groups and they have always worked. Now, we are seeing most calls are able to be parked but then we cannot pick them up on the desk phones and receive a message that the call is no longer available even though park button is still flashing and person who parked the call can still pick it back up so we know the caller did not hang up. HELP!

How can I block robocalls from routing though my auto-receptionists? We are getting hundreds of robocall per week that call into one out our auto-receptionist numbers and just press “0”. I know how to block robocalls at a user level, but I need to block them at a company / auto-receptionist level.

Callrail Whisper in RingCentral?

Hello, trying to find an answer to a question here about whisper messages in RingCentral. I don’t mean whispers as in those used for live call monitoring/coaching. We use Callrail for numbers that forward to our RingCentral numbers for each of our different businesses. Example: Callrail #1 (Google) → RC Business A NumberCallrail #2 (Social Media) → RC Business A NumberCallrail #3 (Social Media) → RC Business B NumberI’ve messed with display settings for the call queues to display the proper information (with the help of the community already) but the issue now is that we are missing the whisper message once the call is forwarded to the RC Number. Since Callrail numbers #1 and #2 both forward to the Business A number, we are losing the ability to correctly attribute the lead to a source. I’ve spoken with Callrail, according to them the whisper message is still being played. That would indicate that the whisper message is playing before the scheduler can pick up the call on the RC side.

Despite following the guidance provided by support team in detail during multiple calls, where I was assured that my submission met the required standards, my application continues to be rejected.
