Good morning. Is there a way to have the call queue number shown as the caller id? Its not a company number therefore we cannot select it in the caller id dropdown but is there any way to show this as caller id when its a call queue? thanks all
I'd like to send automated messages to a webhook and include an emoji in the text.Example: Finished configuring the thing :sunglasses:So far it just prints out the literal text. I've also tried things like "D:" which would normally translate to the "fearful" emoji but no luck. Does anyone do this currently or know how to get it to work?
Please advise when this feature is planned to be added. We have four accounts with RingCentral and we were expecting this a long time ago and is still not available. We are seriously considering dropping RC entirely for a system that includes what we consider a basic feature. We are not a call center and cannot justify the additional expense of your call center which by the way is not all too competitive.
Hi,My CRM extension is not using the correct hardware for my calls. It has my headset assigned in the settings and uses it to feed me audio but is not using the microphone for my audio back.i have a camera on my computer that has a microphone and it is overriding the settings to use that.i have uninstalled and reinstalled to no effect.No other app is having this issue. In fact the normal RingCentral app uses the headset fine.Please advise how i can resolve this.Alan

We are a new user of RingCentral and just moved into a new office. Only one office has coax capability because it has the wireless modem/router and all the other office is purely using wireless internet. In the office with the router, we have a Polycom desktop phone. Everyone else is using their cell phones as their primary phone. I would like to provide each office/user with their own desktop phone which will be higher quality than using their cell phones. Do they manufacture desktop phones that can be used via wireless internet and, if so, does RingCentral support them? If so, which wireless desktop phones are recommended.Thanks, Curtis

I have been trying to get an access token so I can then make a callout via the API. Here is what I have done in Postman:Endpoint: https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/oauth/tokenI have entered my Username and Password both with these being base encoded 64 and not encoded. This time they are not encoded. Hello, I’m a new RingCentral user setting up services for our company of 10 users. We were promised an integration with Bullhorn in the sales process and I’ve only been able to implement the Unified CRM Chrome Extension, however, this doesn’t seem to be working. Would someone be able to help with this? This is quite urgent as our numbers officially port on 10/18/24 and I’m only now getting the instruction to make this request here.Thank you, Tempsy

Hi,I need help please with submitting my TCR registration. I have tried 4 times now, and still is rejected, but it is unclear why. I am a small business and trying to use the ringcentral phone for basic communication with my customers. How can I get specific help with how to complete this for my industry? There seems to be confusion on what is prohibited or not, and looking at the guidelines what I do is not prohibited, but ringcentral keeps telling me it is, because I don’t have a person who is looking at my account, and seeing what has worked with businesses that are similar in my industry. Other phone carriers (not ringcentral) are approving businesses in my industry and I really don’t want to have to switch my phone # to another carrier (what a hassle after purchasing the phones, and setting up the system and porting my # to ringcentral this year!) just because I can’t get help with how to complete for my industry. Ever since the most recent update to my installation of Ringcentral, the Ringcentral message window is opening when Windows starts (refer to the attached example). I don't recall authorizing this behavior, nor even being given an opportunity to authorize the behavior. Please let me know how to disable the autostart of Ringcentral – Message

We have an issue that is happening sporadically to multiple users. They will try to log in to RingCentral in Salesforce and get two error messages saying “Cannot connect to the server. Please retry later” and “Login failed due to internal errors. Please try again later”. The users are using Chrome. They can have the issue with Chrome, but if they use Incognito mode it will work, and it worked on Microsoft Edge, but will still give errors using Chrome (non-incognito mode). They may get the errors for a couple days, then it will work fine, then the next day it happens again.I have been working with support for over two weeks now and they don’t have an answer yet. Is anyone else having this issue, or HAD this issue and figured out a resolution?I appreciate any and all help!

I have now spend multiple days trying to set up Authentik (goauthentik.io) as SAML IDP for RingCentral. No matter what config I try, I always end up with this error:"Sorry for the inconvenience.
