I have attempted a number of times to get a OTP (one-time-password) from Amazon to my SMS. I know my SMS is working but why is this one not coming through? Is there somewhere a blocked SMS setting?

Hello,It’s been around 3 months that our company is facing TCR compliance issue. This has not halted our SMS registration, but also so many of our clients and our internal team are facing issues communicating with each other, since Ring Central used to be our main source of communication with clients regarding their queries and also for internal communication between our own employees.And what makes this issue more critical is that a total of 10x Ring Central numbers assigned to us can’t send/receive messages.Right now, we have implemented all the steps needed for a perfect TCR compliance.

I've scrolled back almost a year and can't find the text that failed to send. Is there a way to quickly find this. If not, is there a way to get the error message to no longer show?

I'm close to giving up on getting through the SMS Campaign process! I was approved to send SMS, with the same phone number, when I was with Zoom. I switched to RC in order to use BeeTexting. I’ve resubmitted my application at least 10 times (probably closer to 15 times), each time with RC customer support, and I keep getting rejected. The utter waste of my time has become so frustrating that I’m beginning to regret switching. Also, I’m paying for BeeTexting, and can't use it.I have a very small business, which is all referral business; I have never done marketing, much less SMS marketing! I’m beyond frustrated and getting close to just giving up….Help!

Is there a way to organize “Text Message Templates” either alphabetically or numerically?

It seems often when I try to text a link to someone, the message will fail. I am able to get text out by breaking the links up with a space, and other text messages seem to work. Is there some limit specifically on how text messages can be sent? Thanks!

We have spent 6 months since coming onboard at Ring and have not been able to get SMS set up after explicitly following instructions from the customer support team and having the issue escalated 6x.  Is anyone else having this problem?I am ready to cancel our contract but being told that we need to pay for the remaining 6 months!!!Ring has not fulfilled their end of the bargain supplying services we need as a business.  Has anyone sucessfully resolved this?

We had a brand and campaign registered after the chaos of the start of 2023. We met with our RingCentral account manager in September to go over all our opt-out language and they assured us everything looked compliant. At the start of December, without any warning, TCR revoked our campaign and said we needed better language. We've had multiple attempts of adding language to our website and copying what other companies that TCR show as being compliant. But every time we make the suggested changes, and wait 10+ business days after re-submitting our campaign registration, we get another rejection for different reasons. We are a law firm that only uses texting to communicate with our clients, or with people who filled out the form on our website looking to speak to our law firm about their case. We don't send out mass messages, or sell the info. We include the boiler plate "text STOP to Opt-out at anytime" in our initial text messages. Has

My team send SMS messages that include our company URL. I am trying to reduce the number of characters in our messages to better comply with the character limits of “segments” but I cannot find information on how URLs are counted as segments. 

If Ring Central reads these, they need to note, this type of service is only occurring with RC. They are at fault for this disaster of a situation that is costing all of us hundreds of thousands in lost revenue. I personally have worked on TCR since January of 2024. Other companies I use SMS with were approved within a week. I’ve spoken to dozens of agents and supervisors and everyone just escalates to the next person. Nothing ever changes. No solutions are ever presented. The same errors I receive back were corrected months ago, and even the agents I work with agree that my campaign should be approved. This is supposedly being vetted by a 3rd party that no one can contact? To me, that seems like fraud of the largest level.  I’ve begun exploring legal recourse and with the volume of people this affects, I think there’s a real case to be made. I have jumped through hoop after hoop and still got rejected for my TCR registry and can not text my technicians. Here is the last thing they failed us for…… DCA2 declined sharing request for campaign CFDYABT. Explanation: Unable to verify, needs compliant and accurate CTA information. Update with specific path for mobile opt-in, HELP instructions, STOP instructions, message frequency disclosure, "message and data rates may apply" disclosure and link to the message program privacy policy, or language referring to the privacy policy. We have been trying to complete our TCR registration for over 2 months (since January 9th, 2023) and no one at RingCentral seems to be able to help. We have time and date-stamped screenshots (only attaching the final one here) of the successful submission through the RingCentral portal and email trails showing the multiple times we have also submitted it via email in PDF to different parties at RingCentral -- all of which we can forward. I previously had a list of client phone numbers that had opted out when we used the RingCentral phone app. However, after checking the RingCentral app now, those numbers no longer appear. How can I add them to the opt-out list in the current version of the RingCentral app?

How can we view text messages for our users. There are some old questions out there but haven't seen anything recent. We would like our Managers to be able to review their staffs interactions with customers for auditing/training purposes.

The first image is the wording they require with the checkbox consent. The problem is I use a contact form from Honeybook. They don’t have an option where I can add a single checkbox, but they have one where I can have the user select one or the other. I am having this same exact issue!  It’s been MONTHS of submissions and no luck.  SMS is essential for our business and we are currently unable to send SMS.  Can anyone help get this approved??“I have been submitting for TCR registration for 3 months now without success. I have called support multiple times. Each time, they look at what needs to be changed, I change it to comply (again) and get rejected again. The last rejection I had, the support person did not even know how I would get rejected because everything was there and complied. He said he would expedite my case, but that was over 2 weeks ago. It has been a significant amount of time since we submitted our TCR request. Our initial application was rejected, but we made the necessary corrections and resubmitted it. However, the status still shows as "in progress," with no updates. How much longer is this expected to take, or do we need to start exploring alternative solutions?

Can I send text directly to a non-user extension (only has extension, no direct number) on RingCentral App that was possible on the RingCentral Phone app?

My users are having trouble sending attachments. They don’t receive any warning about attachment size (and the file is only a small image). The text of the message goes through just fine, but the attachment seems to disappear. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Is there a way to bulk delete text messages?In the old windows app, you could select multiple threads and delete them all at once. Now you have to go through and delete one by one. I send/receive hundreds of texts per day so it takes a lot of time to clean out my inbox.

TCR registration stuck in "review in progess" since 3 weekHave raised numerous tickets, called, and got helped with guidelines, updated everything.But the status of the two numbers we submitted for registration stuck in “review in progress” please help me before next bill cuz i am paying for sms bundle pack also from 2 month with out any use of it this 27 march i have next bill,  please let me know what should i do cancel my account? We’ve been using RingCentral for over 10 years, and while they haven’t been completely bug-free, we were generally satisfied with their service. However, the past year has been a nightmare as we’ve been trying to complete our TCR registration.We already have a successfully registered TCR brand through Twilio, where we send automated texts without any issues. However, with RingCentral, we’ve applied for TCR registration more than eight+ times and have been repeatedly denied. Each time we’re denied (for different reasons every time), we have to pay to resubmit and wait about 15 days for the outcome.Every time we reach out to RingCentral support, an agent advises us on what changes to make, assuring us that the revised application is compliant and will be approved. Hello everyone,Our users will be sending SMS either through our in-house app or the RingCentral app. We would like to implement an automated sanity check before the message is delivered. If users utilize our in-house app, we can have control over this process. However, for the RingCentral app, is there a way we can intercept outbound SMS at the account level before they are delivered?

Hi,My business name is only registered with Ontario so I don’t have a federal BN. I don’t have a need and don’t plan to register on the federal level. How can I register for TCR to continue to send SMS to my clients with a federal BN?

We submitted all the docs/registration for TCR and now the entire system has crashed - no outbound texting, a broken API and Ring Central won't even acknowledge the mess they have caused. Customer Service Rep was RUDE!! Asked us to restart the campaign, pay $26 three different times, and told us a new 20 day wait. All while we see the API is broken! Time for a new VOIP provider...good by Ring Central!!!
