Recently RC has stopped offering the normal Polycom ATA devices we use for fax machines. I was told the Cisco ATA 192 would offer the same functionality.On multiple devices we have discovered that the internet out port on the device (labelled as "Ethernet" on the device) does not seem to function. I have spent the last week plus poking around in the online configuration utility and I cannot get this to work. I can get the device online, I can fax in and out, everything works other than the port on the device that is supposed to be used for another device to access the web will not allow a connection. I believe this has something to do with the IP address on the port being assigned to a weird value.I am still waiting on a solution from RC Support. This has stopped all fax conversions currently so hoping that either 1) there is a solution already from someone on this board or 2) help others who are stuck with this issue.

I am new to the RingCentral platform. I also have never configured Polycom phones before. With guidance from RingCentral Support I have been able provision our mix of Polycom VVX 400 and 601 models. I also set them up with soft buttons showing the other extensions using the names of the office’s users.Why can the soft buttons in Position 1 and 2 not be edited or moved in Users → Users with Extensions → Name → Devices & Numbers → Presence? Why does the name of the user of the extension for which the phone is configured appear twice? This is redundant. Can one of them be removed?Also see the attached JPEG file. i was told that ai would be able to handle overflow calls, currently all overflow calls are forwarded to my answering service after 20 secs if our secretary is unable to answer. After talking to the ai onboarding tech, he stated it would not work unless i had to purchase an upgraded service. why cant it work as it does currently by forwarding to the ai receptionist after call is not answered in 20 secs?

I have successfully updated our company address, but I am unable to figure out how to update the main contact information for the account in RingCentral.  I have searched on your site and googled how-to’s with no luck of making this update. Please help as soon as possible as the current number on the account will no longer be in use soon since we are closing that plant down.

I want to clean up old Team chats that have been created and not used.  Is there a way for me to do this?  I can’t seem to find it in the Admin tool.

There is one phone that rings whenever an extension that is setup as a presence key is called.  The checkbox “Ring my phone when any users I am monitoring rings” is unchecked.  The phone is a VVX450.  All the presence keys have been removed, phone unplugged then plugged back in.  No extensions are shown on the display.  Confirmed by adding calling a couple of the extensions that were previously assigned to presence keys and his phone did not ring.  Added one extension as a presence key, unplugged the phone and plugged back in.  The one extension is now showing on the display.  When the presence key extension is called the users phone rings.  I again confirmed that the “Ring my phone...” box is unchecked.  Tried a resync and still the same thing. Also, tried checking the “Ring my phone..” box, unplugging the phone, plugging back in, removing the check, unplugging the phone and then back in. Nothing seems to work.  Anyone have any ideas as to how to resolve

There is no reason why this has not been done yet. We are a small business. My father died on Monday, yet I still have to work as 90% of my clients text instead of call or email. There is not even a standard message reply that I can set. I literally just have to deal with the work while I am off dealing with the passing of my father. This is just ridiculous as I see threads of this kind going back at least 2 years. 

How do I view scheduled meetings in the new RingCentral Desktop App? In the RingCentral Meetings app, there was a tab for "Meetings" where I could see all recurring and scheduled meetings.

Hello,We are setting up Ring Central and have a main site with a main phone number and our first ‘sub site’.  We don’t have a phone number for this site and want to1.) Assign a temporary main number to this sub site2.) Then port in our existing main number to replace this temporary numberUnfortunately, going thru all the tutorials, Google searches, etc. hasn’t really helped to sort out how to do this.Thanks in advance for any help!Eric

Some of our clients have expressed an interest in utilizing more of the AI capabilities within Ring, with a particular emphasis on wanting call summaries and / or transcriptions. However, they specifically want this information for purposes of an integration.  I’m a bit reluctant to develop functionality through the API as it is still listed as being in Beta, and I don’t want to be writing code that might just suddenly stop working one day. I see that RingEX offers built-in AI Insights, but so far as I am aware those summaries / transcriptions are just within the app and not available for export to an integration via API.  My questions are these: s there any way for RingEX data to be utilized an integration, or is it application-specific? Is there any way to automatically perform AI Insight analysis of call logs via the API, or are we dependent on enabling automatic call log recording, querying the call log API to get

Can someone tell me when the Nice CXone Agent Interface training tutorial for outbound manual calls will be updated to include the new functionality and UI changes?  I believe these changes were in the last release, but the training tutorial has not caught up yet to match.  Please advise.  Thank you!

Our law office maintains seven (7) dedicated conference lines. We would like the ability, directly from the RingCentral app (desktop, browser, or desk phone), to click a “Conference Line” button that displays and initiates the 7 office-owned conference lines, rather than each user’s personal conferencing details.Ideally, this button would provide immediate access to the conference dial-in number, host access code, and participant access code, along with the ability to start or invite participants to a conference with a single click, without requiring manual dialing or the entry of host or participant ID numbers.

I had to reload with Windows 11. I can’t get the buttons on the Voyager to respond in Ring Central Firmware is up to date. Tried Factory ResetAny help appreciated.  

I am trying to register my SMS campaign on my account. However, it was rejected due to error saying Brand name does not match the DBA name registered. It actually clearly matches so if community manager can reach out to me, that would be great. Thanks

Hi!If agents are still logged in calls are being received even though it is after the set hours of operations for the business.My understanding is that inbound calls afterhours should hear the set afterhours message, and go to voicemail even if agents are still logged in and available. Is there a way to make sure calls do not come through afterhours?Thanks!

Hi, Any help would be gratefully appreciated! Due to OBi302 not available, i am attempting to provision a poly 400 ATA. Existing provisioning tools do not seem to match configuration changes required in portal. I have also attempted manually configuring SIP but think I may be missing something!

The AI receptionist, if activated during off-hours and weekend, should not attempt to transfer a caller to another department or person. After the AI assisted the caller, it should just disconnect and end the call.The AI Receptionist should have the ability to automatically send a call transcript, like Ring Central Notes, to an email address specified by an admin so that non-admin users like CSRs can view the calls that they need to call back. The AI Receptionist, after asking all questions in the lead capture, should immediately close the call or disconnect after thanking the caller for answering all questions. Admin should have the ability to modify closing spiel, not just the opening greeting.

I do not have admin portal access, and I cannot see any “Close Account” option in settings.I tried submitting a support request, but I get an error: "Case not submitted." As developer with a “Super Admin” role, and logged in to the developer portal as myself, I created an RC app with JWT authentication.  Our database uses the API to send automated SMS/MMS messages, for which I use the app’s ClientID, ClientSecret, and JWT auth. If I send an SMS “from” a phone number connected to my extension, it gets sent with no problem.  But I’m not the user, just a developer.  If I send with extensionID of “~”, I get error “ "Phone number doesn't belong to extension".  And if I set extensionID to the specific user’s actual extensionID, I get the error message explained by ​@PhongVu’s answer in this older post:But what I don’t understand is HOW to authenticate with the correct extension’s username and password.  Do I have to ex
