Hi, So we recently had RC add the A2P feature added to our Phone numbers and when I tested the High Volume Api I was able to send out a text. But all of a sudden our Prod Application started to return this:{     "errorCode" : "MSG-242",     "message" : "The requested feature is not available"Can a phone number have both the enhanced Business and A2P feature? I’m testing out the SMS Campaigns app RingCentral SMS Campaigns - Beta would like to chat with others who are using it. Are any admin controls available?  Use case; setting daily or weekly limit on the number of texts my users can send.   We’re on Salesforce and would love to be able to bulk text from a View or otherwise without having to upload a csv, anyone find a way to do this? In testing, I’m only offered the option of sending a campaign from my own number.  Would love to have a support person do this on behalf of the recruiters.  Have you found a way to do this?I’m new here, this looks like an active community, love that! 

When creating a new adaptive card using the API (https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Adaptive-Cards/createGlipAdaptiveCardNew), it would be very useful to receive the created cardId in the response, this way we can use that Id to modify the card content later.Thanks!

I'd like to send automated messages to a webhook and include an emoji in the text.Example: Finished configuring the thing :sunglasses:So far it just prints out the literal text. I've also tried things like "D:" which would normally translate to the "fearful" emoji but no luck. Does anyone do this currently or know how to get it to work?

Please advise when this feature is planned to be added. We have four accounts with RingCentral and we were expecting this a long time ago and is still not available. We are seriously considering dropping RC entirely for a system that includes what we consider a basic feature. We are not a call center and cannot justify the additional expense of your call center which by the way is not all too competitive.

Can Zoho screen pop an exisiting customer first, and if the number is unknown pop up a new record form? 

We have an issue that is happening sporadically to multiple users.  They will try to log in to RingCentral in Salesforce and get two error messages saying “Cannot connect to the server. Please retry later” and “Login failed due to internal errors.  Please try again later”.  The users are using Chrome. They can have the issue with Chrome, but if they use Incognito mode it will work, and it worked on Microsoft Edge, but will still give errors using Chrome (non-incognito mode).  They may get the errors for a couple days, then it will work fine, then the next day it happens again.I have been working with support for over two weeks now and they don’t have an answer yet.  Is anyone else having this issue, or HAD this issue and figured out a resolution?I appreciate any and all help!

Is there an sms gateway format for RingCentral so I can send an email from any email address and receive it as a text message to my RingCentral phone number like myphonenumber@sms.ringcentral.com or 5551234567@mms.ringcentral.net etc?

RingCentral creates duplicate Phone Call Records in our CRM Microsoft Dynamics. It can be outbound, or inbound. One of the duplicate records will have a recording url attached to it. And another, not always owned by the person who answered the call, will have the call note mapped to the description field of an entirely different duplicate. The duplicates with have a duration of 0 minutes usually but recently they are NULL for duration. We had suspicions that it was related to a phone call record being created with every ring as it bounced through the cascade of available agents, however this doesn’t make sense in the context of outbound calls. The amount of duplicates can be 3-10 duplicate records and now has become even worse as the ‘mapped’ description could be in any of the duplicates created, without rhyme or reason. Has another customer experienced this?

Hello everyone, is it possible to display the status of colleagues next to the email address in Outlook, similar to Teams? I know that you have to adjust it in regedit, but what are the correct entries?Thank you in advance

I have a subscription set up for a webhook to call a url on the Instant Message event (/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/message-store/instant?type=SMS).When I first create the subscription, the webhook URL is called, and I can confirm at this time that a Validation Token is present, and I am able to establish the subscription.If I check the Subscription list at this point, I see that my subscription/webhook is active.When I send a text message to my number, the url is being called by the webhook (as expected), but there is no Validation Token present, so obviously I can't validate to continue the process and receive the POST data.I have had a subscription / webhook active for this event for the last 1.5 years and it has worked without issue, until 7 days ago when it just stopped working. How do we get the subscription to update the time span? I have a report created that is for Monday -- Saturday to email weekly, but it just keeps sending us the same date span and doesn't update for the next week.

I’ve started to write one, but thought I’d ask.  If it could just read the detailed version of call logs and dump them to CSV.   Bonus points for something that will do SMS.  

For some time now, two of my colleagues have not been able to receive calls from RingCentral within the Salesforce CRM. We went through the same steps to log in but still: two of them can't and two of them can. I need help on how to solve this. Thanks for the help everyone.

Can extension level telephony session events be subscribed through particular extensions login details( JWT?)?I am not sure how this works, can I subscribe to other extension telephony events using a Super Admin JWT token?

Does anyone else who has an integratio with HubSpot have issues with the speed in which the RingCentral XS configuration pulls the data from HubSpot into the generated Calling List?Currently our system is only pulling 11.6 records per minute from HubSpot into the RingCentral calling list.A list of 10,000 customers from HubSpot will take half a day to be generated. I was taking a look into the Studio scripts for the XS scripts specifically and I can see some code snippets that mention “Get Records” limit but not exactly sure if this is what we want to edit. Also, not sure if changing this will end up breaking anything. It seems as though since the initial implementation is over with, we have no one to consult with since RingCentral support didn’t configure anything, it was the 3rd party consulting agency who works with RingCentral.

How do I create a Direct Ring Out using RingCentral Phone API?We have a .Net application that interacts with RC Phone via API. I am able to make a call (Ring Out), but then both caller and callee get a call. How do I make a direct call using an API where only the receiver gets a call and the caller gets a new open call on the softphone?

Hello.We are looking to integration calls into our desktop application.  We did some testing, and since most users are using soft phones and due to the lack of stable deviceIDs for those, we are opting for using Call out to call the employees phones directly.  Besides the above, during testing we ran into two issues. One being that an Admin cannot initiate a call out on behalf of another user/extension.  Unless there is another route we will implement an OAuth flow for the users to authorize the system on their behalf.The larger concern however, is during testing we were able to initiate the call without issue, but if the 1st leg, the one initiating the call receives the incoming ring central call, but declines for any reason, the second leg of the call is still initiated, leaving a potential customer/client with dead air.  This could eventually lead up to our number being flagged if it were to repeatedly.Is there any way to manage the call to prevent this from happening, whether throu

Hello, we have implemented a simple auto-dialer which uses the CallOut api to initiate a call on a specific device. It works great for any hardware phones that we have, but we are wondering if there's a way for it to work with softphones too? I got it working with the RingCentral Phone desktop app, but it doesn't appear to work with either the regular RingCentral desktop or mobile apps, or the RC Phone android app.Basically, the issue is that they never appears in the list of devices (using RestClient.Restapi().Account().Extension().Device().Get() ), or it always shows as offline. Is there something simple i'm missing, or is what i'm trying to do not possible?Thanks in advance!Andy

Is there a way to setup a webhook for faxes that do not get delivered? 

I am attempting to establish a connection to the API using JWT through a HTTP request within Power Automate. However, I am running into a consistent 502 Bad Gateway error. My colleague is able to reach the API and get a response by connecting through Python, but we cannot get a response when using the same connection parameters. Is there anyone that is familiar with getting the authentication process through Power Automate that can offer some guidance on what we are doing incorrectly here?  

Hi! We have just acquired RingCentral through the Vodafone UC subscription, and we would like to automatically create new users in RingCentral using Entra ID. The users currently do not exist in RingCentral. Additionally, we would like to pass attributes such as extension numbers, as well as the area code and the actual phone number, through Entra ID.We have already set up SCIM via the Enterprise App according to the documentation.I have seen that it's possible to create an extension with a softphone, which I have done, and provisioning via the Entra Enterprise App worked on-demand. However, my goal is to avoid manually creating extensions beforehand and then having to reassign phone numbers or extensions afterward.What is the best approach to fully automate this process?Thanks!
