App Client ID is WaOUXvk0oXtdlR79ZvmEZtI created a private app for us to use, and I selected JWT flow however when running js to get the access token I get Username/password authentication is deprecated. Please migrate to the JWT grant type.Which is starnge because I selected the JWT flow when creating it and I’m using the provided script. Could I please get this looked into or advice? 

I am initiating two calls via the RingCentrall Call Out API. Once both calls are connected (one active, one on hold) the user will start the conference call from the RC Phone app. Should information about the conference call be available somewhere in the call records? Right now, I only see call logs for the two calls I made and no conference call.

We’ve been getting some errors reading call logs from the ring central API. One thing I wanted to try was updating to the most recent API. But when I upgrade the nuget package, I receive errors about AccountCallLogSyncResponse missing. I searched through documentation for release notes, but couldn’t find anything. Is there a document that helps?

Hello all, I understand that there are no webhooks to know if a recording is available, I’ve done most of my integration, I’m getting the recordingId from the telephony event “disconnect”, now I need to get the recording, Tech Support said that the recording is not available real time that I will have to poll the content API, which should be this one: /restapi/v1.0/account/accountId/recording/recordingId/content, however in the docs it says that that API only returns 200 with the recording media as the body, so, my question is, how does the return code and body looks like when the recording is not available to download? should I check for a 404 status code and retry later? how does that work? Thanks,Raul

I have an unbuntu server running apache with virtual directories.  I’m getting the following  error when I attempt to register a webhook:  Failed to create subscription: WebHook responds with incorrect HTTP status. We have an app in Production mode which uses MakeACall endpoint to make RingOut calls. Currently we are using the JWT auth flow. What's happening is all the calls which are going out are through the JWT user who created the app, and we are getting a message "Request rate exceeded" . What we want to do instead is, calls should happen based on the user who is trying to make the call and not based on the user who create the App. We are not sure how to do that and create users for each of the "from" caller. Hi, I’m subscribed to Telephony Session events through webhook. receiving bunch of events. I want to identify a call which is received after Business hours, is there any flag in the Telephony event data to identify this ?

I’m working on an integration to embed RingCentral into our application. Part of our application allows for the input of payment information taken from consumers - sensitive information that we do not want to be included in the call recording (based on the fields that are focused). We have ACR turned on for the account I’m working in, and when I attempt to pause a recording, I receive an HTTP 403 with error code TAS-115: ACR mute is not supported for this call.Does ACR prevent a normal user from being able to pause (and unpause) the call recording, and if so, is there a way to allow this? I can’t find anything about this specific error code, or the associated message (or why it’s a 403), so any guidance on this would be appreciated.

I am hitting rate limits while making api calls for monitoring calls for individual extensions. What I am doing is authenticating with a super admin cred and subscribing to individual extension telephony session events. I want to supervise parties and not a call so need to hit the active call session api as well. This scenarios will probably raise rate limit errors( and is) while supervising for multiple agents. what is the recommended way to avoid hitting rate limits since retry will delay monitoring calls upto 60s which is not ideal.

Hello, I have an requirement that I want to integrate RingCentral with Salesforce via custom integration and here I'm using the Webhook URL and build a communication between Salesforce and RingCentral but the salesforce doesn't support the autherization token as key in URL itself, So how can I build this integration via webhook.

We want to add an analog adapter to allow us to use the phone for paging across speakers throughout our building. Maybe a GRANDSTREAM HandyTone 801 single-port Analog Telephone Adapter. Has anyone tried that with Yealink phones?

What is the format for authentication for a custom webhook in Zapier?I have registered my app and have the RC Credentials file with the clientId, clientSecret, and Server, but I can’t figure out where these go in Zapier.I have tried putting them in the Basic Auth field as clientId|clientSecret but that did not work. I have also tried adding lines for each in the header, but that does not work.I’ve reached out to both RingCentral Support and Zapier Support, but they have not been able to resolve.If I use the Bearer Authorization provided in https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Tasks/createTaskNew the Zap works perfectly, but only temporarily.  I assume that is just provided for testing.

Hey, We’re using RingCentral & Make.com. My goal is to get information about answered & not answered incoming and outgoing calls. For the trigger, I used the ‘watch all new calls’ module, and to get the info I used the ‘get call details’ module. I also added a 10 sec delay between the modules. The issue is, every time there is a new call the scenario breaks at ‘get call details’ module. This is the error we’re getting: Error 404CMN-102 Resource for parameter [callRecordId] is not found  Thank you!

Our RingCentral account merged to our parent company account. Our account setup as Site Extension account. How do I get our call log by Site Extension. We are using the legacy RingCentral Phone App and RingOut to automatically change the outbound ID based on a field lookup in Dynamics CRM. We are using a rest API for this. Does anyone know if this is possible to do with the RingCentral Desktop App rather than continuing to use the legacy Phone App?This is a response I had from RingCentral Development team, almost 2 years ago:“After reviewing the data, we found out such feature functionality isn't possible on Jupiter ( RC APP) in its present release .
