Hello,We are having an issue where calls are not being forwarded to the next person in the call queue if the primary answerer is on DND.What we want: -if person A either doesn't pick up OR is on DND, the call rings to person B-if person B also doesn't pick up, it goes to voicemail Right now, if person A is on DND, then it just goes to A's voicemail and doesn't ring to B. Here are the settings I have under Call Handling - Missed calls: -if set to "Voicemail" then it functions as above, and the call is not forwarded if person A is on DND-if set to "Forward to extension", it does rings from one person to the next but it will never go to voicemail if person B doesn't pick up. The actual "ringing" the caller hears goes away after the allotted number of rings for person B, but the call still shows connected for the caller, and never goes to Voicemail.Does anyone ha

I have a user who works from home and was never assigned an extension or number. She wants a number now so that she won't be giving out her personal number every time. She came in and showed me her RingCentral app and she was signed in. When I got to the admin portal I cannot not find her anywhere. I tried creating a user but it gives me the "email already in use". How can I find her account? The only way I can search is through the "Users with extensions" but she was never assigned an extension. Thanks

This has been a long (multi-year) issue, that we have just recently confirmed with RC tech support. From our RC account we can send long sms messages (longer than 160 char), but we cannot properly* receive them ever.By "proper", I mean that all long text messages received from most canadian carriers that are longer than 160 char (approx), are received as multiple messages and usually in the wrong order. With several months of testing with RC tech support, they finally acknowledged that RC does not support the sms technology that all Canadian carriers use as their standard for identifying the order of long messages so that they can be "reconnected" in the proper order and then delivered and displayed as a single message (as it was sent).RC tech support has acknowledged this, but yet they will not provide any estimate of when it will e supported properly, OR any commitment that they are even planning to. Over the last few weeks, our company has been having small little "blips" on our Polycom VVX500 devices. During these blips, company-wide an error is thrown on our Polycom saying "Line Unregistered" and we are unable to make or receive calls. These blips last for about 30 seconds, and then things go back to normal on their own. My laptop is connected to the internet via ethernet, straight from the Polycom device. I have a general voicemail box set up for our main company number. When I sign in and go to phone > voicemail, it only shows the voicemail associated with my number and not the main company number/general voicemail box. How do I access this?

Hi, When I'm not using my mobile phone and a call comes though, my only option is 'swipe to answer'. This compares to when I am using the phone and options are the red 'X' which sends the call to voicemail and a blue checkbox to answer the call.How do I change the moble app function to enable me to quickly send a caller to voicemail?

I recently inherited our RingCentral account and recently formatted and added a polycom phone to our system. On this new phone it has 6 lines available and all of them are displaying the users name. On other phones on our system it is only showing the first 2 lines with the users name. I'm not able to change the settings on the phone because the password gets changed to something I don't know on the phone and I'm not able to remote connect to the phones IP address. I also see for this user, in their presence, they are showing only 2 lines with their name. Is this a local phone setting I can adjust or is the setting somewhere on the RC Admin portal? Is there a section in the RC Admin portal that I can see the config settings to find the password and/or reset it?

when our front desk calls one of our extensions the recipient will hear the phone ring but the caller doesn't hear a ring on the line. the caller just hears dead air until the recipient picks up or it goes to voice mail. I can't seem to find a cause or a solution. this also happens when a call is transferred to the recipient.

Hi I am forwarding my ring central phone number to a mobile but its sending callers to the mobile phone voicemail instead of my Ring Central voicemail. I set the settings in the call forwarding for missed calls to "send to voicemail" Thanks for any suggestions.

The Forward All Calls feature has a fault in design. When you enable "Forward All Calls" for User A who is getting the call, to send them to User B , it should still use the "Connecting To..." greeting that is assigned for User A. But the system plays the "Connecting To..." greeting of User B.That is wrong. It should play User A "Connecting To" greeting so that we can record a custom message tell the incoming caller "You have called Jane Doe at extension 123. She is away so we are automatically forwarding you to John Smith at extension 456". This way your incoming caller is not getting someone answering that they do not expect and do not know. My group of about 20 folks has started experiencing these 2 problems in the last week or two. Any guidance on a fix, or is this a bug?We're all running the latest version: 23.1.22.6903 Mac. We've been unable to intentionally replicate either issue thus far but every member of our team has had both issues. I know it's not an internet connectivity issue, as we work from different offices and at different times. 1. An external number calls in, we attempt to transfer the call to another internal number, and RC gives us a "Unable to load the page" message and the call box turns solid white - screenshots attached. The app locks up and we can still hear the connected call but can't transfer or end the call because the app is frozen. All we can do is quit the app, ending the call, and reopen. Sc

Our phone/answering service isn't working correctly. My message picks up, but there's no sound or place for a caller to leave a message. How to fix this?

Regarding to this, it would save so much time, if a phone would be provisioned independently of the assigned number, so phone can moved between users or numbers without a compete onside reprovisioning.

I have logitech usb wired headsets and multiple users with dell laptops that constantly have the microphone cut out randomly on them. I noticed that after this happens, that the system files are corrupted. I run a sfc/ scannow after this happens and each time the scan finds corrupted files and repairs them. After rebooting, the microphone works again. Is there a solution that would fix this permanently? I have started using other brands and types of headsets and they do not have this issue.

We use our RingCentral number to communicate with our clients or other people involved in our transaction to send updates only. We also use it to contact other businesses if we need their service for our project. Unfortunately, the registration is unsuccessful due to the following:Campaign Attributes do not match website and/or sample message content.Inconsistency between website, brand name, and/or sample messages or inconsistent sample messagesWe are not using it for text marketing. How are we suppose to to register this as a campaign?

Hello! I submitted a manual PDF for approval 02/16. I called several times as the 30 day mark approached and they kept sending me to TCR. TCR reps kept telling me they were escalating it with no follow-up. I called in around 10 times and no one at RC could give me an answer on what was going on. Each phone call was between 45 minutes to an hour, who has time for that? I noticed after submitting the PDF there was the portal in the back-end so I submitted it through the portal and registered the brand. That took a few days for approval and then registered the campaign next. Campaign has been pending since 03/10 now with no approval. I called back in yesterday and got TCR and they said they were going to escalate the case (laughing emoji). I asked what that would do and she really didn't have an answer. I told her I had email verifications that my form was submitted 02/16 and then she stated oh, it's 30 business days from that day, you will need to call back in on 03/31 because

I don't want my personal number to be available as the caller id when I make a call from RingCentral, is there a way to mask it looks like it's coming from the main number?All calls coming in should go to the main number.but some are going to my personal number instead since it's being added to their list off phone calls.Thank you.

I want to be able to answer calls using the call control buttons directly on my headset.I've downloaded Plantronics Hub, which recognizes that my headset (Voyager Focus UC) is connected. But on my RingCentral app/settings, it just says "Headset ready to connect" and doesn't show the Voyager on here. Is it just supposed to look like the following image?Additionally, on Plantronics Hub, it doesn't show me RingCentral as an option for "Target Softphone". The new Shared Voicemail Inbox feature is included in the recent RingCentral iPhone app update (23.1.30).It's indicated in the "What's New" update notes that if a coworker "gives you access" to their voicemail, their voicemail messages will show up in the Shared Voicemail Inbox.However I see nothing in the settings for the desktop or smartphone app whereby I can give access to my voicemail (or Shared Voicemail Inbox) to a coworker.Please advise...
