Admin password for a pre-provisioned Polycom Trio 8500 phone, we received a new one today but no info on what the password is.RegardsPeter

So I brought up the Ringcentral App (Windows 10) today and got a popup asking if I wanted to try out the beta. I went ahead and clicked OK and got a popup window to sign in. We use Google SSO and was in the process of doing that but got error saying the browser wasn't supported (my guess from 2FA - we use hardware USB keys and usually have to 'Try Another Way' for non Google apps). Anyway - I closed the windows to try again, but cannot find anywhere to access the beta version in any of the menus or screens. Is the popup the only way and if it doesn't work the first time you can't try it?

USA, Desktop - RingCentral Phone, Latest VersionI want to add recipients to a SMS/Text message I plan on sending out to many people. These recipients are not in my address book. Previously, I added recipients individually.I just tried to copy/paste the recipients from a column in my excel, hoping it would individualize each number. It didn't do this. Hi,When trying to transfer calls through to colleagues I can only see that they are available, busy, do not disturb or invisible. It would be really useful for me to be able to see when users are actually on calls as well as busy.For instance if I have an important call that needs taking by a member of the sales team I know that they are on a call rather than just busy.Thanks,Briony

I need help with dialing out with from my voicemail by choosing option 3 while I am in my voicemail. I am not using a ringcentral phone neither do I have the option to . if the new ringcentral app is supposed to replace the phone app, then it needs to have the same features including the URI setup so i can click to have a phone number called when it has the TEL: url the old phone app has this, it is very weird that you don't have the same capability in this new app.

Starting yesterday my users will have their cell phone call dropped if they get a call through the RC app. I opened a case with them, but I can't imagine this is isolated just to my users. My current case number is 09661024. I know one user has an iPhone, not sure about the other. If the user is on an RC call and a call comes into the cell phone, the call isn't dropped. If she is on an RC call and another call comes in, she says the first RC call is dropped, but the tech support guy said the call wasn't. I believe the system just didn't think the call was dropped.

Is there a way to monitor Glip messages? I know its no longer called Glip but thats what it is to us.Also, I am an Admin on InContact but am unsure if I am on Glip, how can I check this?

I just dialed one number and it went through to a completely different number. I tried a second time and the same thing happened again. Never had this problem before.

Our team is having issues w/ a lot of calls being dropped. Is there a way to solve this?

The HUD is not refreshing. It shows people are on calls, when in actual fact the call is finished & they're not on a call any longer. The only resolution I can see is logging out of the app & then logging back

Account Type U.SI am using ring the central phone app on a Vodafone 4G cell phone and I am unable to send texts. when I called the tech support they said Vodafone does not support texting which the sales team never shared initially. Now what's funny is a friend who referred me to ring central was sitting in the same room with me and we both were using the same network to send texts and he was able to but not me. I asked the technical support guy real time that how is this possible and his answer was he is lucky, that's why. Really??

Since a recent update to 19.8.1 of the RC app (Glip), we can no longer see all our Teams. The number of Teams shown in the left-side navigator pane is controlled by the Preferences setting 'Max Conversations' (number; limit: 60) - itself a bit of obscure naming but acceptable. If we set this to a reasonable number such as 9, to avoid having to scroll the navigator excessively, only the 9 most recently active Teams are shown. Before the update we could click on the Teams category to see the full list in the main window but this now only collapses and expands the Teams category.Is there some other way to get to the full list? Hello RingCentral, today I have an issue pertaining to the deletion of tasks that perhaps interferes with the HIPAA setting.In my business, we started to integrate reoccurring tasks that repeat on a monthly, up to bi-monthly basis - however there is a problem. These tasks have been deleted off their respective chats automatically. I'd like to infer that it is because we have the HIPAA setting enabled and so past 30 days it would be automatically deleted to fulfill the setting rules.Is there anyway we can override that setting for specific chats/tasks/etc?It seems a bit off that we can 'create' a task that is reoccurring up to a year-basis, yet on the HIPAA setting it states TASKS are deleted after 30 days.And so I am here with this issue at my workplace, having to recreate the missing tasks in the mean time.Possible solution?

Limiting voicemail talking times to 3 minutes MAX seems outdated. Professionals often need to leave important updates specific to a client or to explain a situation prior to a meeting. This is quite common in many industries and situations in which the tone of the message is especially relevant to the 'next step'.Currently the experience for RingCentral users is...the caller gets abruptly cut off after 3 minutes (with no option to continue), they have to hang up, call back, select extension, remember where they left off and effectively continue their voicemail message. This seems overly and unnecessarily inefficient for the caller and for myself as the receiver of the voicemails.As the receiver, I have to exit from the VM screen- go back to menu, locate where in the multiple voicemails the last one left off (as they are not numbered in a manner that allows me to see where I was last nor does it automatically f

So the sms function stopped working for some reason through the google chrome extension below is a screenshot of the error it says it needs a valid phone number. ( I am the Admin)I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app rebooting the computer & uninstalling rebooting on my mobile device and I'm still getting the same error i've tried multiple phone numbers and still the same error.so I don't understand why it's not working I tried using the chat service with ringcentral and they were not able to help me and was escalated to another department. Why it have only 8 colors for dot for differenciating teams? Red is not even there!And why those colors are not used in the app? It's so difficult to differenciate our teams. Best would be an avatar as for people, but at least color could do it...

I am one of a bunch of support reps in a roll-over phone queue, and I want to start taking certain hours off every day. Can I till RingCentral to do that automatically?

Using RingCentral App version 20.2.10 (E.7.1.8) and received a notification to try a beta app. I did not proceed because I wanted more information regarding the beta version. I've been unable to find any information. Can anyone provide more information? Here's a screenshot of the notification.

I cannot see the text message I received. I only received the text notification and was I able to reply but after I moved to another tab I cannot see it anymore

I have a client who runs a company number report and the data shows 61 calls when looking at the trends and 126 calls in the call detail. What is the methodology for calculating calls to a company number and why would this be different than what is reported in the call detail?

i am in Canada. I had the prompt to updated RingCentral this morning, after it reopened after the update, RC app keeps loading. I have tried to close and open it few times, but no luck. Please le me know if anyone has a fix.
