Is there a way to have text messages from my team routed to another Ring Central user to cover while I am out on vacation?

Is there a way to view IM conversation history in the RC app (Glip) between two users from the Admin portal?

Trying to send fax to domestic number using (###) ###-#### format but fax is failing and RingCentral is showing foreign +## (##) ###### as attempted number

My companies primary internet provider is Comcast. We've been having on and off again issues with them recently so we had AT&T install a backup line for internet connectivity. Can any of the Ringcentral approved routers support two internet connection inputs and switch between them if it senses issues with the primary connection? I would like to avoid having to physically pull out the network cable and switch it in case I'm not at the office.

We are new to RC. My users are adding the RC Phone app to their cell phones.We are finding that when a users desk is called, his cell call is put on hold. We do want the calls forwarded to the cell phone just not to interrupt the existing call.

I see the message was 40 secs in length, but no sound. Speakers are turned on, RC sound is at max.

I'm trying to interface an existing Valcom V-2901A Universal Door Answering System with RingCentral. I connected it via a Cisco SPA122, but ended up frying the ATA because I was connecting two FXS ports together. Luckily I didn't damage the V-2901A.Valcom tech support said that the correct device for this application is their VIP-821A, which provides the FXO port the V-2901A is looking for and interfaces that to SIP. I've purchased one but am having trouble getting it registered on RingCentral. We have just joined RingCentral and had our account set up today. We have been given a new telephone number, however we would like a non geographic business number. In the UK these will start 03 or 08 and we would ideally like a list to pick from. I'm unsure how we would go about this and need help so that we can begin using RingCentral.ThanksGeorge

When I open RingCentral on my desktop it always opens partially off screen on the top left. This makes it to where I can not reach the title bar of the program to move it. What can I do to fix this?

I have the two agents saved as extensions 800 and 801. When someone calls the sign phone number the auto receptionist says "Press 1 if you are an unrepresented buyer, 2 if you are a represented buy" and it is supposed to alternate between extension 800 and 801.... That's not happening and I can't figure it out. Tech support can never seem to get it right.....

I have the RingCentral add-on for Chrome. I use 2 screens, my laptop and a monitor. I currently have 2 phones popping up when I dial, 1 on each screen. How do I fix this so just 1 phone is popping up on my laptop? This is driving me insane!

I too have blocked several numbers from ROBO callers and they still keep calling into our Ring Central phones. I thought that when a number is blocked they would never be able to call you again, until the number is unblocked. Why is this happening only with Ring Central??? My home phone and cell phone block numbers just as they are supposed to do, but not Ring Central. There has to be a way to make this work properly

After the update this morning, internal company contacts are missing for all users, with the exception of the user itself. Is this a known issue yet? Seems like one other user was blocked from downloading the update. Wondering if it is related to a patch being worked on?

When I place a call out there is a huge (15 seconds or more) delay from when I speak and when the other person hears what I've said. This problem began when I got the iphone pro ios 13.2.2 How do I solve this?

It would be great to have the ability to move (flip) a call from a deskphone to the RC App on a PC. I seem to remember being able to do this with the older RC phone app, as it appeared as a 'soft phone' in the call-flip list, but this does not work in the newer RC desktop app (glip).

We have separate numbers set up for calls coming in from our main company website, and a separate website that our company uses for specific services. Both numbers ring to the same extension. Is there a way to set up a separate ring tone, or caller ID so that I know which incoming number the caller has dialed before I answer the line?

I have 60 phone numbers across the country. The number of robocalls I am receiving is out of control. More than 90 out of every 100 incoming calls is a robocall. Over 120/day. You can see from my Call Log- every call under 13 seconds is a robocall/telemarketer. I'm beginning to wonder if they are blocking my real customers from calling in or having my customer incoming calls routed to their robo centers. My incoming customer calls have from 150/day to less than 20/day. It's about to shut down my business.It may not be a RingCentral problem but does anyone have any ideas how calls may not even be getting to RingCentral?I have been told that sometimes local telecom provider systems unport phone numbers automatically & they have to be re-verified but I don't know if it's true. Starting on Friday August 23rd 2019 the faxes we are sending through the API are intermittenty being recieved distorted and unreadable. It is as if they are squished to half size or less (but only vertically). It is happening to many different fax numbers we send to. Understandably people are getting upset. Any suggestions? We have not changed the way we send the faxes and I can see the PDF files in the SENT messages look correct.

Hi there we have Ring Central Phones installed and have just had Kuando Busylights attached. Is there anyway that we can hear the ringtones that we have downloaded into the Ring Central Phone App play through the Kuando or are we stuck with the limited choice on the busylight?

For the last few weeks, we re experiencing a LOT of dropped calls from RingCentral Polycom phones. So far, RC does not have a response. Has anyone else seen a spike in dropped calls recently ?
