RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

We got a new computer, I don't know what the IT guy loaded but it looks totally different and we can not use this version at all. How do we compose a fax, scan the fax and send the fax? We are totally lost, we want the old version back.

I was wondering if RingCentral had the ability to show me which key words have driven a phone call. I am keen to link inbound phone calls back to my PPC activities.

Because of problems personally with Windows 10.. .and my customers are not liking Windows 10 licensing... I am in the market to start using LINUX Desktop O/S's instead of Windows soon.... and I'm in the process of making sure that everything that I currently do in Windows can be also done from a Linux Desktop O/S.... for me... and for the customers that I support.I have found that RingCentral Phone is one of the few apps that I can't find a Linux port for. I have also tried to install the Windows RingCentral Phone using WINE for Linux... and it also fails during the ".NET 4.5" install.I don't use GLIP or Office360... I just need the RingCentral Phone (SoftPhone) to work on a Linux Desktop PC without having to install or use a Window Operating System to do it.

I sent a fax on 5/9, today is 5/21 and can only view faxes sent for the last week. Where can I view a copy of this fax? I read on another thread that we can view them for 30 days.

CALL RECORDINGS- I would like to request that call recordings be stored on for longer that 90 days. My company actually needs to have a service that stores call recording for at least up to 1 year. Its unfortunate that I may have to switch services because of this issue.

all of our incoming calls are showing our company name not the number of who is calling? Why did this change and how do I change it back?

We have over 100 users of Glip and within the last few days several, including myself, have been receiving an error messages "authorization required". It forces you to login and all seems normal then it reverts back to the message. If we click the "x" to close message it goes away. Any reason or solution for this? Thanks!

We have approximately 200 wired Sennheiser headsets currently in use. Many of these use a USB adapter. Will we be able to use these with our new VVX 450 hard phones if we order the Sennheiser USB adapters for them?

I am disappointed by the lack of support as well as security for the glip app. We have recently had an incident in which a new member was added to our glip app, but no one actually added them. A second incident happened this past weekend, in which a post was supposedly made by one of our employees, however, he says he did not make the post.Is there any way to see where an account was logged in from? Possible IP address? We cannot tell if this one employee's account has been hacked or if someone is able to access our account from outside. What are different security measures we can look at to ensure we are not continuing to be hacked?

I have scheduled a meeting using the Glip Mobile Phone App on Android.My calendars are synced, so I can see my Ring Central meetings and my outlook meetings in the lower panel within the meetings section of the app.However - I can only view for today and tomorrow. I want to view the meeting details for beyond this - how do I widen the view area/calendar?I'd like to invite more people to the meeting but can't access it to do so.

Account Type: U.S.When I am on a call via my RingCentral app (on iPhone), I do not receive incoming calls on either my RingCentral app or my iPhone. This is a big issue, as I need to be able to receive these calls and have the option to switch to those calls as well. Orbi router on a 1Gb line - We have to run all our RC calls via the cell network instead of VOIP because the VOIP calls break up and chop so badly.

I am setting up an IVR where there is a prompt that asks the user to dial 1 if you know your parties extension. As an action there is no option under key press. I called suport and they suggested I create a user with no phone and then use a greeting that we record. But it really needs to either wait for the caller to enter an extension or it needs to go back to the main menu after so many seconds. I do not see a way of doing this. Can anyone give me some advice on how to set this up? It seems like something that should be standard.

How could I change the allotted time to 15 minutes or higher for call park? I would like to make it indefinite if possible.

Something happened to my Free Glip Account after the last update! It wiped out 3 years worth of activity and reset my account as if I had just enrolled. My team members still have their data but can no longer connect with me. It says my account is Deactivated from their end. Help!!!

I have tried to send the same domestic fax in teh US this over 20 times! I successfully sent a fax with more file attachments to the exact same recipient prior to this one, so I know the information and file names should work.

So I'm getting an error when trying to run the RC softphone, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000018). Click OK to close the application." 90% of the time I try to open the app I get this error. I have replicated it on two separate machines as well, both running Windows 10. Is this a known issue?
