Will it be possible to add a feature for admins to change ringtones in CXone? I have over 50 users that have complained the tones are AWFUL in CXone and would like to change them. Since we have moved over to this app, this has been the BIGGEST COMPLAINT of the system. 

I’m thinking of switching from RingCentral to another provider. I like that I get notes of my calls and I can do webinars but I don’t like that I can’t schedule text messages and send text or reply to text messages if 13 individuals are in the thread. Will this change next year? If no, I will have to do research to see which other company has the services I need. Thank you for your time. Paula

Is there a way to connect Ringcentral to Zoho’s Zia (their AI software)? We currently have Ringcentral connected to Zoho Analytics and we’re tracking call and text data but we want to maximize the tracking and wanted to integrate either Zia or OpenAI to get more detailed analytics.

When a user is on an active call or logged into a RingCentral meeting, they still receive the pop up for incoming calls and the ring/notification. This is especially frustrating for call queue members who are on support calls with clients or on a RC Meeting assisting a client and they are continually receiving incoming calls. How can we set it up in RingCentral at a user or call queue level to not pop up and ring a user who is on an active call or on a RingCentral meeting? I have been chatting with RC Support and searching the support and community posts and have not been successful in resolving this. Can anyone help?

In the RingSense admin portal for users, RingSense Users, it has a column for Managers & Additional Managers. Is there any way to pull this data using API?

I have auto-recording enabled for my extension, and standard 1:1 call recordings work perfectly. However, when I add a third participant to an existing telephone call (merging it into a conference call), the recording automatically stops.Trying to start recording manually during the merged call results in an error.Is there a way to enable recording for merged conference calls? Do I need an additional license or plan feature?If one of the participants in the conference is external (not a RingCentral user), can the call still be recorded? Is there any alternative way to capture the recording in this scenario?Thank you

Does anyone have the information to submit a formal complaint to the company? According to the FCC, there should be information about this on the bill, but of course there isn’t. Here are my specific issues: Faxing works only intermittently, we’ve contacted them NUMEROUS times and get the run around every time, but I’m still paying for this As many others have stated, it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach support.  The phone line has hung up on my multiple times after being on hold.  Chat bot gives you the run-around.  You cannot create a ticket.At this point, I want to submit a formal complaint to the company, and the next step will be directly to the FCC if no resolution.

I would like to see more voice options for the receptionist or to be able to control the speed at which the receptionist speaks.

How do I get new client calls to generate call recordings?

I am aware that Redtail creates activities to log calls.It has worked fine until today when a particular user seems to be added as an attendee on another users call log.  I have searched everywhere in RingCentral App Connect and Redtail for a setting but can’t find anything to change.To clarify. The attendee is getting an email with the open/closed activity.  When I went into the contact record, there are actually TWO activities, 1 for each attendee.We are stumped.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This is a problem in the Softphone App. We are having an issue where our users attempt to make a 3-way call, sometimes called Local Conference, or 3-way Merge, where we are on a call, click to add a user, dial the number using the dial pad, connect successfully to that 3rd number, click on the Merge To Conference button, then both callers are disconnected about 1 second after the merge to conference button is pressed. Is anyone else having this problem or heard of this problem. This is getting very frustrating to diagnose.

Apparently there is no way for agents to see each other’s availability in RingCX, but they can in RingEX.  This seems extraordinarily silly.  Does anyone know of a workaround for this??

We are experiencing a recurring issue in the RingCentral app affecting one of our users. At random times, when she manually types a phone number into the dialer, the call does not go through, she can not even initiate a call.Here are the specific behaviors we’re seeing:• She types a full phone number and presses Enter → Nothing happens (no call starts)• When typing the number, the suggested contact bar underneath sometimes auto-populates with another employee’s internal line (mine)• The suggested internal number is not even remotely similar to the number being typed• This incorrect suggestion overrides the ability to place the outbound call• Refreshing the app or retyping does not always fix it immediately• The issue happens intermittently, generally a couple times a day. Hi. I called into RingCentral, spoke to the TCR specialists, made their recommended changes, and submitted my TCR registration twice now. I received error CR2010 both times - “brand website references charitable donations and declared use case is not charity”. Before I call in again, I decided to research that error code with other phone providers and apparently, their registration has the use case “charity” but RingCentral’s registration form doesn’t. What use case am I to use then? Please help. Thank you.

I received an email that my TCR registration is deleted when i call the customer support they said it is because of fraud and the respective department will explain me why in 48 hours. how could i resolve it If there any any kind of fraud happened from my number i need details so i can justify.please let me know what is way out?

I am a RingCentral partner and have several clients that are reporting that random phones will report no service and then reconnect. There is no rhyme or reason behind this. We have unassigned the desk phones and reassigned them and that has fixed the issue for some but not all.  As this is happening to several of my clients thar are in different areas and different internet providers and that it is random phones and not all phones we can not find what is causing this issue. All network requirements are met.

I am trying to stream call from RingCentral CX using gRPC server. Found the following page: https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/using-streaming-nodes-in-ringcx-workflow-studio.html  However, this page does not provide any detailed information regarding the gRPC server implementation. Here we only must provide server address with security credentials. I mainly have three questions:  To implement gRPC server, clients need to know which server function to call. And I don’t see any scope where I can provide “. proto” file or configure the client streaming data through dedicated server function. Hi Team, I am trying to filter only incoming calls to account and trying to use “/restapi/v1.0/account/${accountId}/telephony/sessions?direction=Inbound” BUT this is giving both in bound and outbound calls as Inbound in notifications. Example: - when a customer calls an extension account that call is recorded as in bound with TO address as account extension -When we call back customer from account extension it is also recorded as in bound with TO address as customer phone number.  any idea on this issue ?  ThanksMahesh 

When people call our offices, the voicemail still says 2 ex employees names.  How do I remove them and add myself as one of the people on the list?  I have changed everything to remove them from the phone system.  Their names are no where to be found on the Ring Central app or webpage.

Hi, RingCentral Community!I'm working on integrating RingCentral's API into my application and am currently facing an issue with setting up webhook events and handling RingOut calls.While I can successfully initiate a RingOut call and receive an authentication token, the webhook events for Call Received or Message Received are not being triggered as expected. I have already configured the webhook URL and subscribed to the required events, but I haven't been able to see any webhook logs or event data coming through.Has anyone else faced this issue? Any tips or advice on how to troubleshoot webhook event subscriptions, or perhaps additional configurations I might have missed?I’d appreciate any guidance or pointers to get this resolved.Looking forward to hearing from you!
