Hello everyone! I have activated my RingCentral Account and downloaded desktop app on my laptop and when I dial up any number it pops up this notification "Sorry, you can only make calls to your coworkers' extensions. To make external calls, contact your company admin."

I have been trying to port out my number to at & t since December last year. This is been a nightmare. I called and email several times and im still here waiting and getting upset everytime i call to ring central. Everyone in ring central have different information. This is hurting my business. I need help

I am having this same exact issue!  It’s been MONTHS of submissions and no luck.  SMS is essential for our business and we are currently unable to send SMS.  Can anyone help get this approved??“I have been submitting for TCR registration for 3 months now without success. I have called support multiple times. Each time, they look at what needs to be changed, I change it to comply (again) and get rejected again. The last rejection I had, the support person did not even know how I would get rejected because everything was there and complied. He said he would expedite my case, but that was over 2 weeks ago. Hi,I want to implement the click-to-dial feature of RingCentral with my web application.When I click on the phone number with url like href="tel:{PhoneNumber}" or href="callto:{PhoneNumber}" then it is asking to choose the application for calling but RingCXentral is not appearing as an option.I have tried with the desktop app as well, and the RingCentral Google extension but it is not showing in the calling options.Can you please provide any documentation link or any guide on click to dial feature?

When I’m on a call on RingCentral using my iPhone, holding my phone to my ear (ie not using a headset), my iPhone is supposed to go to black screen. My understanding is that the mechanism for this is the proximity sensor in my iPhone senses when my ear/head is close, and when that happens when I’m on a call, it turns the screen to black so that my ear doesn’t press buttons while I’m on a call. I’m on iOS 12, up-to-date with all updates, and I’ve cleaned the proximity sensor and restarted my phone, but still having the same issue. The issue doesn’t seem to be happening with the Apple phone app.Anyone else having this issue? It’s really frustrating, as my ear ends up doing all kinds of crazy things, including hanging up the call, so I can only use RingCentral with my airpods or on speaker.

I have researched the steps for faxing and followed all, but my company has only one phone number with extensions for the users. Under users there is no “outbound calls/faxing” so I cannot enable users to fax and the fax doesn’t show up on the app. I think they have missed the step in the directions of “Add a phone number for fax only”. Am I correct in thinking this? Should I add a number to my account and only use that one for fax? If I do, do I need to add that one to the user accounts as well?I have tried opening cases but no one gets back to me, the chat bot can’t give me any information, and this step is nowhere in any of the directions that I’ve found.

I have a performance report that looks at all extensions calls from yesterday and is sent Tuesday through Friday in the morning. Today’s report (4/1) that looks at yesterday’s numbers (3/31) is way off on the users page. One extension is showing total handle time of 5 minutes, but then when I click on their name to look at their calls the third to last call from yesterday is 8 minutes and they have multiple other calls that alone are more than 5 minutes. This report uses the following columns EXT, Total Calls, Avg. Calls/Day, # Inbound, # outbound, Total Handle Time, Avg. Handle Time. Is there some way to fix, am I using a wrong column, was there some sort of outage? Not sure what’s happening here as this report has been accurate as far as I am aware of until today’s report/yesterdays calls.

Ring Central, is there an ETA when 811 will be added to the platform? Most municipalities in the USA use this service & it cannot be dialed from the EX platform.

I've been using RC for my business since 2014, never any major issues...now I have some of my clients telling me that when they called my business number, they get a message stating that the voice mailbox is full ? However, when I call from my personal number, it rings right through to voicemail without issue. Today I was with a client and they told me they've been having issues with contacting me, I asked them to call my business number and let me hear this for myself...sure enough after the phone connected it stated "the voice mailbox is full" and hung up on them. I then immediately called from my personal cell phone to the same business number and it went through with voice greeting and then voicemail ?? Point of reference we both have phone numbers with identical area codes (not that that should matter).

Where is the latest status for the issues with calls affecting us for the last 4 hours in the eastern US?

It has been a significant amount of time since we submitted our TCR request. Our initial application was rejected, but we made the necessary corrections and resubmitted it. However, the status still shows as "in progress," with no updates. How much longer is this expected to take, or do we need to start exploring alternative solutions?

Chat is terrible and phone support at Ring Central is terrible. Yikes. I am in an office with wifi only and no wired connection. The wifi is not mine. I have a ring central desk phone VVX411. Should I purchase a phone with wifi built in, or configure a wifi bridge for my current phone? What works best? I really do not like using the softphone on my computer. Any thoughts.

Hello,We are testing the AI Video text transcription from a mobile Android device and cannot find the way of retreiving the text when the video is over. (the text is automaticaly downloaded when using Windows). Thanks 

What is the solution to this?  I am so unhappy.  Everytime my phone rings on my iPhone air pods or, ‘any other’ bluetooth device, including my Ray Ban Meta’s…  it blows my ear drums out.  It is absolutely ridiculous that you can’t set the ring volume on the APP.I have tried every possible setting, and I can’t seem to fix this.  What is the fix for this?  As a last resport, can I silence the ring?This software is crap.  I regret integretting it into my software.  I should have went with Twillio.
