We had a working campaign for years but had over 625 numbers so it was recently cutoff. I created multiple (16) of them to make it compliant, but now they all keep being rejected. To be clear, we only text between employees and never do any marketing or spam unsolicited messages. How is a company that doesn’t ever do any marketing or any of the things that TCR is attempting to stop ever become compliant to be able to just send messages between corporate based staff and our field based employees? RingCentral has failed its customers with the lack of clarity on to actually submit a form that will be accepted. 

I have a rather odd problem with my RingCentral Poly VVX 450.I have added multiple Presence Extensions to my phone and the second one in the list never shows on the screen.For example, I have added six other extensions to the phone. each users name shows on the list except for the second in the list. If I remove that extension, the next one in the list disappears, and only shows four names. If I leave a blank line, the blank space will show and the next name in the list disapears.I have tried “resyncing” the phone multiple times, adding and removing extensions but it seems that the second in the list is always missing.

Having some issues with transferring calls between workers using the RingCentral mobile app. I can accept calls just fine, and when I click “transfer” if pops up with different options for our other workers. I click one, and from the customer’s end it rings and rings, and ends in voicemail, but it never actually rings the coworker’s phone. They don’t have it pop up on their phone. They’re receiving other calls on RingCentral just fine. Is there a setting or something to change this? I’ve tried messing with the incoming calls settings on their apps and the outgoing settings on my own phone.  Would be of great help!

I want to just check if any Ringcentral API’s exist which can be used to fetch stereo recording of a stored file

We are using the legacy RingCentral Phone App and RingOut to automatically change the outbound ID based on a field lookup in Dynamics CRM. We are using a rest API for this. Does anyone know if this is possible to do with the RingCentral Desktop App rather than continuing to use the legacy Phone App?This is a response I had from RingCentral Development team, almost 2 years ago:“After reviewing the data, we found out such feature functionality isn't possible on Jupiter ( RC APP) in its present release . So, for now, those who need this functionality will need to stay on Spartan ( RC PHONE).”There is a project presently underway named ‘Jupiter SIP project’ (using Spartan as the headless SIP client).  Kevin is researching with his team whether this development would provide the needed functionality to the RC APP

When using SMS messaging, is there a way to have the “OPT OUT” Language as a footer of every message sent?  I don’t want to add this as a template for every text..

Is anyone from the Seattle/Eastside area getting ringing phones, but once you pick up, no audio? We also try to get into the VM messaging center, and no tone, nothing. 

I require assistance in developing a weekly report that tracks the utilization of licensing on RingCentral. The report should provide a comprehensive overview of our current licensing levels across all instances. I have thoroughly reviewed the API reference but have not found any relevant endpoints or resources for this task. Could someone guide me in the right direction?

I have been trying to get my TCR registration approved since Around September of last year.  I have  submitted the registration approx. 6 times.  Each time I call ringcentral and they tell me what to do and each time I have completed the task.  This has included everything from changing my website to resubmitting the form with specific language.  I have been told on at least three occasions that the inflation has been reviewed and everything is correct; only to have been denied again.  I have asked for supervisions or someone who has more knowledge that the agents I get on the phone or chat.  Either ringcentral does not have anyone who is a supervision or the agents are trained to never put one on the phone -- either way I still dont have the TCR registration complete.  I had no problem with my prior, and current text provider, getting this approved.  Does anyone have any suggestions, contacts, or other help that can be offered to get this set up.  Thanks.  

When will issue with the List Subscriptions API be fixed, on listing active subscriptions no records are returned.

We were impacted by the outbound sms outage today. We followed the workaround provided by the status page, removed our numbers assigned to the approved campaign and tried to re-assign them. One of the numbers failed to be added immediately no matter what we tried. Support told us that we have to call TCR team in the morning. Any other suggestions? Side note, we received notice that there were SMS setup error white assigning number at 11:31AM today while no action was taken from our part. 

Our TCR for using SMS was approved a long time ago (early 2023) and lots of our staff have been able to send outgoing SMS messages, despite them not being listed in the TCR registration. Two questions:Why do we have a list of users registered when essentially everyone can send SMS messages via the RC Phone app?  When this service interruption is resolved, will our staff be able to resume their normal SMS activity? And by regular, I mean they randomly text individual customers about appointments. -John

When voicemails go through our company’s call queues, they end up on the shared team email with the transcription. We have stopped receiving them as of 3 this morning. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Under notifications for these numbers, Voicemail messages by Email is checked.

my SMS SERVICE suddenly blocked with notifying me and they are telling me about some TCR services. i have been using SMS services for more than an year now. they are not co-operative and don’t know how to fix the issue. not have good expereince.

I’m on my 9th (yes ninth) in 7 months. How many submissions and subsequent “corrections” did you have to make before you were finally accepted and registered? Or are you like me and still sitting in purgatory?  If you finally got registered, please share your tips and tricks! 

In the phone settings for Incoming Call Information, there is the option to turn on “Add Special number” to the end or beginning of an incoming caller’s caller ID to help identify the reason for the call.I tested it with my un-related personal cell phone number after I changed this setting to “222” at the “End” position, but there was no difference to the test calling experience then before applying the setting. My questions for the community is if others are using this or if attempts were made and it’s just not a popular function?Ring Central Desktop version: 25.1.1011.13342 WindowsScreenshot for reference.  

Hi all,I am new to ring central and have been tasked with setting up our system to ring to paging system after hours. However when following the instructions on the guides I have found I am either missing some of the settings in admin portal or the setup they show is quite different. I have already setup business hours but could use some guidance on setting up the rest. The setup is not very intuitive and nothing like when I administered a Mitel system. Thanks in advancePete

Anyone know the process to get the Mitel 485G telephones custom background to work with the Ring Central product? Previously on Mitel it would be located under the Inetpub folder and phones new when registering to the prem system to check for the image. Now going to Ring Central where/how do we get the phones to look for an image?

What does  Forward to : *85$Tinvite$ error mean?

In historical interaction reports there is an option under agent group named N/A. RC tells me that these are calls where a customer hung up before reaching an agent. Does anyone have a more detailed understanding of how calls end up in this bucket? Are they dropping while in the IVR or possibly while listening to announcements?  Thanks

A manager would like to see the calls made by his team. How can I limit the Performance Reports so he sees only his team's calls?
