Below issue has happened on and off for over a year and a half, and I am absolutely lost. Anyone else out there experiencing the same? Or has some ideas of how to fix this?I use RC app to make business calls. I pick up my Pixel 9 Pro, open the RC app, dial a number and as the ringing starts I hear the sounds cutting in and out every few seconds. Same when someone picks up the phone. Impossible to have a phone conversations.This happened for about a month a year ago, then stopped, and has been happening the last 2+ months starting December 2024. What is very interesting is that RC app works fine on an iPhone 12 Pro under the same conditions (i.e. same WiFi, same t-Mobile carrier, locations, etc.)Last year this was happening on Pixel 7 Pio. This year it’s Pixel 9 Pro. I’ve tried everything, including resetting my Pixel 9 Pro to factory, then rebuilding it, etc I’ve tried various SIM card/phone settings (i.e. 5G/LTE, WiFi calling on/off,

Good afternoon,We're on day 3 with RingCentral, and we're finding things we really like and little things that make us scratch our head. Overall it's been a pretty good experience.I have something weird going on with the desktop app. When I try to answer a call on Glip there is a 10-15 second delay before the call is answered. When I dial a number there is a 10-15 second delay before it dials.This morning I was in My Extension on service.ringcentral.com. I recorded a new Voicemail Greeting. I left that Window up, and all day long the app calls have been working nearly instantly. I don't experience any delay or issues. As soon as I closed that My Extension on the website the delays reappeared. RingCentral app and MS Teams ring together, how to stop this simultaneous ringCurrently if a user is using both the RC App and MS Teams is integrated with RC, when a call comes in, it rings on both RC App and Teams.Is there a way to stop/chose where the user wants the call to ring, i.e. either the RC App or MS Teams.The only option I currently see is to disable the RC and Teams integration for the user.

We purchased multiple Yealink phones directly from Ring Central (T46Us and T33Gs). They were provisioned by RC before being sent to us. I’m trying to enter the advanced settings and the web interface for the phones to setup extension modules and do some other settings, and I can’t find the correct admin password. I’ve tried my account password (my account is the admin for our RC account), I’ve tried the default admin from the Yealink guide, and I’ve tried the password for the user that those phones are assigned to - nothing works, and I’m concerned about getting locked out. I’ve also reached out to RC and asked what password they set when they provisioned the phones, but I haven’t heard back from them.Thanks, Mike

It’ll show I have a message, I’ll read the message, when I go back to my home screen it doesn’t show any notifications, and then about 5 seconds later it shows a ‘1’. I go back into ring and there’s no new message.

We have been having an issue with sending MMS pictures larger than 1.5 Mb.Up until a month ago, we never had an issue sending MMS pictures larger than 1.5Mb. Now I was informed that there is a limit on the MMS size.Can this limit be increased? It's a pain to use Google Photos to send a link instead of the actual picture. Also, when is Ring Central going to be RCS messaging compliant? 

Hi, I have an iphone and when ringcentral is active on my phone it shows the phone log in the Ringcentral app but all the calls are also coming up on my normal phone app in the recents. How do I stop this from happening?

I have a user on a Polycom VVX 350 desk phone that has to press 1 to answer a call that comes directly to his extension.  It was not like this at our launch, the user has no idea how it was changed to that, I have looked through every setting on the handset and the admin site, and he is the only user this has happened to. Does anyone know how to turn this off?  When answering an incoming call, we want to pick the headset up and start talking to the individual. I appreciate the help!  

I created an IVR and id like my main company number to connect to it. When I go into the IVR it has to add a direct number but that cost extra. is there a way to have the direct number ring to the IVR?

Tried looking through the KB and at past community postings about this but wasn’t able to come up with anything. We recently migrated over from an older phone system to RingCentral and my users were very familiar with the old system so I’m trying to recreate some of that familiarity. On the old phones when a customer called in, it would display the number that is calling in and also the Company Name that was associated with the number the customer was calling in for. This allowed our scheduling team to quickly identify how to handle/greet the call since we are comprised of several businesses. The closest I’ve been able to get with RC’s system is by setting the display number to be the dialed number under User>Phone>Incoming Call Information. This is really meant to be a stopgap since now our schedulers are referring to a company sheet of numbers to identify what company a customer is calling in for. I’ve looked at the Display Settings as well unde

The documentation for sending a fax via the RC App shows there should be the “paperclip” attach button, but it does not appear as an option for us to click. Is there anyone else experiencing this and is there a fix? 

Hi,I worked with one of your operators in order to set the call queue so that it rings on all phones simultaneously which is great. The problem is when someone answers the call, the rest of the callers receive the indication that the call was missed on their end leading to the perception that the call was missed thus creating miscommunication.Can we work together to configure how to set the call queue so that each user who doesn't answer doesn't receive a missed call indicator? Also, I've created an email security group called missed@jsnell.com, for the goal here would only to receive voicemails from calls that are missed from the call queue.

I have users who are members of multiple call queues.  If they accept a call from one queue, is there a way to prevent other queues from attempting to put calls through to their extension?  Can other queues recognize that extension is already on a call?  I already have Maximum Concurrent Calls set to 1 for each queue, and “include direct calls” selected, but the system does not seem to be able to recognize when a user is on a call from a different queue. 

 I need wall mounts for about 3 of the phones we set up in our warehouse.  Does RingCentral sell those, or should I find them elsewhere? We have the Poly Edge E350 phones. Thanks!

I’ve been waiting for weeks to get a response from RC about my TCR stuff. Was told on the 2nd of April when I asked for an update, that I would get an update within 48 hours, that was 6 days ago...

We have multiple users who are experiencing a fast busy signal when trying to dial outgoing calls. We've been experiencing the issue increasing over the past 2 weeks. It doesn't matter if we use a "ported number" or number exclusive to RC. Also doesn't matter if we use mobile, downloaded or online app. We're under a year in our agreement and getting frustrated with tech support calls that go nowhere; wondering if this is an isolated issue for us or if this is happening to other businesses as well. We are a new Ring Central customer and have been given Yealing T42S phones that were part of another provider years ago. The factory reset process of holding the OK button is not working in that we keep getting placed back to a username password entry. The same thing happens through the GUI. Any recommendation or are we simply going to have to purchase new phones? Thanks in advance. Brent

we have an employee that whenever they’re on a call, and a second call comes in, the employee stops hearing the first caller until the second call stops ringing (no ringing sound).i have tested that with her for quite some time. she is using the desktop app, and when she gets a call everything is okay, but when she is on an active call and someone calls her, she will stop hearing the person on the other side, until a few seconds after the the second caller hangs up.while being on the call with her, i have called from several different numbers, both RC and external, and every time i saw her RC get an incoming call, she we stop hearing me.

I have a user who is trying to use the RC Mobile app and after entering the number in the keypad and pressing the call button, it switches to her normal phone app to make the call.This is not a new user and it has only started today, but is based overseas to majority of the firm so calls would be at an international rate on her personal mobile plan.Troubleshooting steps taken so far. Restart phone, closed app, signed out of app.A new version of the app has been released in the last few days. This version works for me fine (different phone, different country though).Ringout is not on.She is able to make calls from her desktop app on her laptop so that makes it seem like her account is setup correctly and the service status for her country are also fine.

Hello everyone,We are new to RC and so far it seems to fit our needs well. We have three users - two are in the office most of the time and the third (myself) is out and about. The other two users have Polycom desk phones, I elected to stick with the softphone. I'm running RingCentral for Mac  Release: 8.3.6.24042 on macOS Sierra. I also make frequent use of the RingCentral for Android app on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.For my needs, I would really like to find the perfect wireless headset. I have pretty severe ADHD and tend to move around a lot while I'm on phone calls (especially conference calls or online meetings.) I have a set of Jabra Rox wireless earbuds that don't seem to really work with RC. My in-depth research (seriously, I've spent DAYS looking at this stuff) shows me that Plantronics is the recommended headset manufacturer of choice - that's great, I love Plantronics headsets. Since the Poly OBi302 is no long in production and that was the main ATA unit for a good price, I have been attempting to manually configure a Poly OBi 300 and a Poly ATA 402, but I cannot figure out where all of the provisioning info gets plugged into the ATA units. I understand all of the RingCentral side and getting the provisioning info, but need to know what fields need what to make it work.If anybody has a cheat sheet or any info as to where the provisioning info needs to be assigned in the Poly units, most likely, they are very similar to each other on the firmware side, if I can get the info on one, I will be able to get the other working.I know they are not supported by RingCentral, but I need to find a solution for people analog phones and this is best course to follow.Thanks, Doug

Is there a way to block users from adding an individual to their HUD? Currently agents are able to see who their manager is talking to and the manager would like privacy. Is there a way to block the agents from adding a manager?
