iOS app v 20.1.22.0.60385 app not ringing for incoming call; for the person calling it just rings and rings then goes to voicemail. The problem is I an missing calls. I have to watch the call log or wait to I am notified about a message. I have an extension and a direct line and it has happened on both. This just started happening this week and 2 others at my office have experienced it also.Any idea as to the cause and if it can be corrected? With us working from home we have to have this working. Please help!!!!

How can I disable the beep when using HUD call monitoring feature so they do not know they are being monitored . They are hearing a crackling sound when I click the monitoring button. We are just monitoring NOT recording . Help

I have a Yealink T42s with 6 programmable soft keys (DSSkey).  I have 2 phone numbers.  I would like to be able to dial out on either of the numbers by selecting the line on the phone so that my caller ID will show the selected line.  How can I do this?Currently when I log into the yeallink phone and go to the DSSKEY tab, I can see that only one of the softkeys are programmed to LINE 1 and the rest are empty. A drop down shows I can pick line 2, line 3, line 4… but those lines are tied to any numbers in my ring central account. So I guess I need to know how to make line 2 the second number that’s already in my inventory.  Also when I use the PC app, I want to be able to select that 2nd line from which to dial out from. Currently it’s not an option.  Thank you

I have been with RingCentral since 2009 and have generally had a positive experience. However, recently (since Sep 18th), I have been receiving about 10 SPAM calls per day on my Toll Free Number from spoofed local numbers (never being used twice) and I was just charged for extra minutes for the first time in about 10 years. Each call lasts from about 2 to 10 minutes, but nobody ever hits an extension or leaves a message and they always show up as missed calls. It seems to be computer driven due to the volume.Does anyone know what is actually going on here? Who might be doing this and what is their goal? What is the point in someone - or a computer calling

We currently have SSO login to RC setup using Okta/SAML and when users click the RC app link on the Okta web portal it auto logins (using IdP SAML flow) and takes the user to RC Web Admin/My Extension portal. What I would like to do is add a new bookmark link on Okta/SSO web portal to allow users to auto login to app.ringcentral.com web app, does anyone have an idea if that is possible? Maybe with a specially crafted link (ex: "https://app.ringcentral.com/sso/login?email=<user email address>" or something similar)?

Anyone having issues with call monitoring the past few weeks? Nothing has changed on our end and we have correct permissions - we cannot monitor calls. It tells us we don't have permission when we do. It has never been perfect when it comes to monitoring but this is just horrific. Tech support has not been able to help after 3 un-successful calls.

We’ve been looking at Branded Calling and was wondering if anyone in the Community has has any experience with it and if it actually helps with call pickup ratio and/or RingCentral numbers being flagged as “Potential Spam”.Thank you

How do I operate my landline RingCentral desk phone?  I can’t seem to find instructions anywhere.

Does anyone know how to remove the Intercom and Page keys from the display screen.  They were gone with our previous phone service but we can’t figure out to remove them since converting to RingCentral.  Thanks!

I am familiar with how to forward calls with custom rules and while on the line. However I have users that need to forward their calls to external numbers when they leave the office, which could be at any time. I was informed by support there was no way to do this so I am coming here for a solution.

I need incoming callers to hear the phone ringing.  Then I want the receptionist to answer the ringing phone.  My customers are just getting dead space so they are all hanging up.  I want them to hear the ring, we answer the phone and then transfer to the appropriate extension.  If the receptionist does not answer the phone on the 4th ring then I would like the phone to go to voicemail.  I get everything figured out and then one day it just changes all by itself.

My business has used Ring Central for our toll-free number service for many years. In the past few months, we have been getting increasing numbers of robo calls. These calls (with no person on the other end) are answered, and the company greeting is played instructing the caller to push the appropriate extension. The robo caller obviously does not push an extension, and the company greeting plays a second time before disconnecting a process that takes about 2-1/2 minutes. We are now receiving approximately 45 robo calls per day, so that is about 112 toll free minutes we are charged for in one day. We are billed by RingCentral for the additional minutes over our plan. These calls are coming from all different numbers that have the caller ID spoofed. When we have tried to call back some of these numbers, we get some people to answer and they always have no idea about us and didnt make the call. I wondered why would someone take the time to program hundreds of robo calls to just call o

Just seeing if there is any new information in Ring Central about stopping robo and spam calls. We have some users that just a ton of them even though I toggled on the ‘robo-call’ setting. I know everyone has to deal with this, but just curious if there were any updates. 

We have a number of teams , Sales, Marketing, Delivery. I want to have the option to dig down into those teams to transfer a call or to see the status. Is there a way to do this?

I’m looking for a solution to the issue described here:When I get a call from a call queue if I click "Ignore Call" on my desktop app the Incoming Call screen goes away and then pops right back up a few seconds later.There must be a way to make this happen, right? My idea is to create fake users to put at the end of my fixed order call queue. That way when my actual users have hit ignore, the fake extensions will “ring” one by one until the maximum wait time is reached (so in my case, 3 rings/15 seconds per fake user, 1 minute timeout, I would have 4 fake users so that I can ensure the call never circles back to my actual users). This obviously isn’t an elegant solution and would consume 4 licenses (not cool), has anyone found a better way of making this happen using Ring Central’s existing features?

We have made some changes to our office layout and have removed four boardrooms that previously had Limited Extensions.How do I remove the four Limited Extensions that are no longer required?

My desk phone is no longer ending a phone call when I hang the receiver up. The call remains live and I have to manually press the end call button on the phone’s display screen. Has anyone experienced this and how do I fix it? I’ve looked in all of the settings on the phone and in the admin account. Help!

When I tap a call link in Chrome, RingCentral is opening and making the call. I am using the RingCentral app on my cell phone. Prior to a couple of months ago, call links were opening my native phone app. This is my personal cell phone and RingCentral is for work. I do not want RingCentral opening call links. I have Googled this issue and followed so many instructions. Nothing is correcting this issue. In RingCentral, I turned off the open supported links option (now I have an annoying pop up on the app every time it opens). Suggestions?

Our organization heavily uses Microsoft Teams for calls/meetings. We are in the process of moving to Ringcentral using the Ringcentral App on the same computer as Microsoft Teams. When someone is on a Microsoft Teams call/meeting and receive a Ringcentral call and answers it, the other people on the Teams call/meeting hear the Ringcentral user’s side of the Ringcentral call conversation. It doesn’t put the Microsoft Teams call on hold. How do we get this to not happen?

Customers are telling us when we call them the Caller ID is showing as possible Spam.  How do we fix this?Update - we had one office that was set to a new company number.  We changed it to the site number to eliminate this issue.  The site number was an existing DID transferred in the conversion.

Hi there,When I try to log into my bank (TD Bank Canada) or use my TD credit card online, I am asked to provide an SMS PIN code, which I have setup to be sent to my Ring Central phone number. I do not receive them.I also have my Ring Central number setup for Amazon, and the same thing happens, when they try to send me a verification code, it does not reach me.I am sending and receiving text from all other numbers both locally and internationally.Is there a reason that certain services cannot send SMS to Ring Central?
