I have set the admin password prior to provisioning but after provisioning it no longer works on the phone. Provisioning has obviously blocked access to the admin of the phone since the Advanced menu has nothing more than change the password but it does nothing. I would like to log into the web interface and back up the configuration and make changes. The standard passwords do not work. 123, 456, 789 and I have seen 7227 and blank as possibilities. Is there a known password or a place in the admin portal to see one? 

Hi, we have recently installed the RingCentral Bullhorn integration (Version: v1.0.9). We use Bullhorn Analytics which is where we set targets and actual results are tracked. Now we have this integration we should be able to set call targets and have actual figures pulling through at the end of each day. How do we set this up?

Is there not a way to create a primary Member schedule. I have a phone queue that changes hands daily where one member has Mondays and one answers the phones on Tuesdays and another one on Wednesdays. I’m told that we go in every morning and change the member who accepts queue calls. Is there not a way to create a schedule so that it turns over to the next person on its own?

Would like to understand if the extension uses the native (default) phone fields in NetSuite or does it also lookup custom phone fields?

When I create a holiday message under Auto-Receptionist/General Settings/Call Handling/Custom Rules , the date and time settings don’t automatically set the rule to active. For example, when I set a holiday greeting on the auto-receptionist to run conditionally on a date and/or time, the rule will not be set automatically and I have to manually go in and toggle the active slider. Is this by design or am I missing something in my rule set? (The schedule has expired in the pic below as I am writing this days after the event). 

I am experiencing an issue where incoming callers receive no dial tone when calling my personal desk phone. For example, I will call my desk phone from my cell phone and receive no dial tone or ringing on the cell phone. This is happening when calling from other internal phones as well. This is a desk phone not a call queue so the “Audio while connecting” setting does not apply. I've resynced the desk phone, power cycled the phone, inspected call rules, even swapped the phone entirely. All without resolution. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone, I’ll give you the context of the situation: I have a program that automatically checks people in my organisations calls they are making (using the Ring Central websocket) against the TPS (telephone preference service). If they flag as true then it sends an SMS notifying the user and (in theory currently) ends the call.The problem is that, while I can end my own calls, I cannot end the calls of others. I understand this is because the system doesn’t allow you to end others calls even if you are a super admin and have Call Control permissions on your app. I have trawled through the documentation and forum but I can’t find any answer. I do not want to create a JWT for every single user and login in each and every time it needs to end a call, it’s long-winded, requires constant monitoring, etc.For additional context, my users use the Ring Central desktop app, therefore there is no device names per say, however they are on the same network. We use RingEX and RingCX.  If I turn on SSO via the EX admin portal, will that also enable SSO for CX?

We forwarded another user calls in another office location to my direct number. We can no longer call this user. We receive a recorded message that “sorry, we are unable to connect at this time”. Is there a setting we are missing to be to still call this user internally? 

I am getting the following error when trying to send an SMS from a phone number assigned to a different user in my account. The error message makes mention of the "OutboundSMS" permission, but I do not see that permission in my account. Does App Connect sync with both contact and candidate records in Bullhorn? I only see a contacts setting in the extension tool.

I have been trying to get an access token so I can then make a callout via the API. Our office closes from 12-1pm and we have a high volume of calls that come in during this time.  The problem with this hour not being identified by RC as afterhours is that it impacts the business analytics reports and individual staff performance reports.  What is a good practice or how to set up this one hour as afterhours, so all the missed inbound calls do not get counted as missed calls? Thanks!

We have inbound call recording enabled. When an inbound call is placed on hold on a park location then gets picked up internally, the recording does not resume on the internally transferred call. Does anyone know how to get this to work correctly?

Will there be updates to the fax options? There are four notable issues currently:1. Currently, there is no way to customize a fax cover sheet to include a company logo.2. There is no way to enter the "To" or "Company Name" field unless they are in my contacts. Even when they are in the contacts, the Company Name field does not populate.3. The format of the fax number looks like this 11234567891. There is no way to change the formatting to (123) 456-7891. Even though it is formatted nicely in the settings the output looks sloppy.4. It doesn't matter what default fax cover is selected in the fax settings. You still have to manually pick the fax you want when you go to start a new fax.

How fast does the operator add the ability to send sms to numbers? It's been more than 3 days now, but I still can't send sms.

When attempting to install the RingCentral Unified CRM Extension SuiteApp in Netsuite the installation failed with the following error:  “Validation Failed: Validation of account settings failed. An error occured during validation of Custom Objects against the account (customroles) Details: To install this SuiteCloud project, the SUBSIDIARIES feature must be enabled in the account. I was successful in installing the new RingCentral/Netsuite Chrome extension/plugin.My question is that all my employees can see every other employee’s record and can see wages/personal information, etc. Is there a way to turn this off so they cannot see it?This is due to the fact that you need to have Employee and Employee Records set to ‘View’ for the plugin to work.

I have the permissions setup exactly the RingCentral defined role and it is exclusive to a subsidiary.  This is the error message I receive when trying to connect:  Error while accessing a resource.  Permission violation: The restrictions on your role deny you access to this record.
