I have been trying to get an access token so I can then make a callout via the API. Here is what I have done in Postman:Endpoint: https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/oauth/tokenI have entered my Username and Password both with these being base encoded 64 and not encoded. This time they are not encoded. I have entered them under the Authorization tabI have added in Headers Content-Type : application/x-www-form-urlencoded In Body tab selected the x-www-form-urlencoded selected:    - Entered grant_type: urn:ietf:params:oauth:grant-type:jwt-bearer    - Entered assertion : eyJ[…. lots of middle stuff]...NDz that is encoded base 64Method is POST Result is{  "error" : "invalid_request",  "errors" : [ {    "errorCode" : "OAU-345",    "message" : "Invalid assertion signature"  } ],  "error_description" : "Invalid assertion signature"}​​​​​​​What am I doing wrong???

Our office closes from 12-1pm and we have a high volume of calls that come in during this time.  The problem with this hour not being identified by RC as afterhours is that it impacts the business analytics reports and individual staff performance reports.  What is a good practice or how to set up this one hour as afterhours, so all the missed inbound calls do not get counted as missed calls? Thanks!

Hello!We want to develop a bot that will auto-answer (pick up) the call when it is ringing and will reply smartly when it hears something from the caller.But we can't find the API on how to listen to the call after it's answered and how to reply by some audio to the caller.Could you please help us to find the solution to how exactly to implement this?In WebPhone SDK https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-web-phone it looks like it is possible only to answer the incoming call, but there are no options on how to listen to the answered call or how to reply something back to the user.Also, we found a similar post on the forum where the person was looking for the same API that we need, but it looks like it was not resolved.https://community.ringcentral.com/questions/1535/realtime-voice-bot-with-ringcentral.htmlThanks in advance!

We have inbound call recording enabled. When an inbound call is placed on hold on a park location then gets picked up internally, the recording does not resume on the internally transferred call. Does anyone know how to get this to work correctly?

Will there be updates to the fax options? There are four notable issues currently:1. Currently, there is no way to customize a fax cover sheet to include a company logo.2. There is no way to enter the "To" or "Company Name" field unless they are in my contacts. Even when they are in the contacts, the Company Name field does not populate.3. The format of the fax number looks like this 11234567891. There is no way to change the formatting to (123) 456-7891. Even though it is formatted nicely in the settings the output looks sloppy.4. It doesn't matter what default fax cover is selected in the fax settings. You still have to manually pick the fax you want when you go to start a new fax.

How fast does the operator add the ability to send sms to numbers? It's been more than 3 days now, but I still can't send sms.

When attempting to install the RingCentral Unified CRM Extension SuiteApp in Netsuite the installation failed with the following error:  “Validation Failed: Validation of account settings failed. An error occured during validation of Custom Objects against the account (customroles) Details: To install this SuiteCloud project, the SUBSIDIARIES feature must be enabled in the account. I was successful in installing the new RingCentral/Netsuite Chrome extension/plugin.My question is that all my employees can see every other employee’s record and can see wages/personal information, etc. Is there a way to turn this off so they cannot see it?This is due to the fact that you need to have Employee and Employee Records set to ‘View’ for the plugin to work.

I have the permissions setup exactly the RingCentral defined role and it is exclusive to a subsidiary.  This is the error message I receive when trying to connect:  Error while accessing a resource.  Permission violation: The restrictions on your role deny you access to this record.

I’m trying to use RingCentral Automator to listen for a text message then generate a phone call based on that text message.Can Automator generate/initiate a phone call? Or, can Automator only connect two calls?Thank you!

I keep getting the error : "errorCode":"CMN-101","message":"Parameter [from] value is invalid." from my callout. So I attempted to make the same one in the Developer Console UI and I get the same error.So this leads me to believe that it has something to do with how the from message is configured somewhere but I need some help understanding what I need to do to get a from phone number that I can use for Sending A2P Send SMS Api.I checked the Admin Portal and in the TCR Registration it has the number as a Campaign User and Ready for Use and the title says SMS enabled numbers.Any idea of how I might be able to resolve?Thank you in advanceRobert

Hi there, does anyone know if you can switch off the RC message informing the caller that the call will be recorded? In our own message we inform our callers that the call is being recorded.

I recently conducted a test by sending a fax using the following RingCentral API endpoint:https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/message-store.In this instance, I mistakenly used an incorrect fax number. I was expecting to see a "Failed" status for the fax, but I am currently only able to view faxes marked as "Sent." Could you kindly guide me on how to retrieve the status of failed faxes or direct me to the appropriate method for monitoring this?Thank you for your assistance.

I'm trying to disable fax cover sheet for faxes.When I go to users->users with extentions (or templates->user settings)->select the user->Outbound Calls/Faxes->fax settings and go to Cover Page options, there's no "None" option to disable the cover sheet, there only 'Blank' option, but it doesn't disable cover sheet, it’s still present as the first page (it’s just blank). But I need to remove it at all.

Good morning. Is there a way to have the call queue number shown as the caller id? Its not a company number therefore we cannot select it in the caller id dropdown but is there any way to show this as caller id when its a call queue? thanks all

Ever since the most recent update to my installation of Ringcentral, the Ringcentral message window is opening when Windows starts (refer to the attached example). I don't recall authorizing this behavior, nor even being given an opportunity to authorize the behavior. Please let me know how to disable the autostart of Ringcentral – Message
