Our users keep getting kicked out of Ring CX. Is there an outage?

RingCentral App Connect not syncing with personal contacts from Google. All other parts of RingCentral appear to sync. 

Hello,I’m looking to set up an automation where I can automatically generate tasks in RingCentral when I select a specific category. The task would be pre-filled with relevant details from a predefined template, including fields like title, description, assignee, and due date.For example, if I choose a certain category (e.g., "Customer Support"), it would auto-fill task details like the assigned team member, the description of the task, and the due date based on a template for that category.Has anyone found a simple way to achieve this using RingCentral’s native features or App Add-ins? Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated!Ideally, I want to do this without having to write any custom code via the API.

Our TCR has been denied 2x now. Do you have direct person for us to work with to get approval? We are doing our diligence to be in compliance with no help and support. Our campaign is not unsolicited We are replying to a request.

We’ve been getting some errors reading call logs from the ring central API. One thing I wanted to try was updating to the most recent API. But when I upgrade the nuget package, I receive errors about AccountCallLogSyncResponse missing. I searched through documentation for release notes, but couldn’t find anything. Is there a document that helps?

Hello all, I understand that there are no webhooks to know if a recording is available, I’ve done most of my integration, I’m getting the recordingId from the telephony event “disconnect”, now I need to get the recording, Tech Support said that the recording is not available real time that I will have to poll the content API, which should be this one: /restapi/v1.0/account/accountId/recording/recordingId/content, however in the docs it says that that API only returns 200 with the recording media as the body, so, my question is, how does the return code and body looks like when the recording is not available to download? should I check for a 404 status code and retry later? how does that work? Thanks,Raul

Hello, I am in the process of building a workflow, and have a rough skeleton of it working. But I received a new requirement, that will add a condition to the beginning of the workflow.   If the condition is true, the workflow should continue as normal.  If the condition is false, then the workflow needs to skip directly to the “End of flow” step.   When I go into the editor and add the new condition, all the paths connect to the next step, so even if the condition fails, the workflow will still continue.    I searched for steps and I don’t see any that would allow me to add a second “end of flow” and I do not see a way to unlink the path and reattach it to the “end of flow” at the bottom.   Is the only option to start over brom the beginning with a new workflow?

It would be very helpful to have a feature that sends automatic texts when someone calls. We serve a very specific set of clientele who call a lot but very often do not leave a message, and then later accuse us of not being responsive to them. I would love to be able to have an automatic text sent out to any number that calls saying something like “Thank you for your call, and please remember that if you do not leave a message, we do not know to call you back...”

For the SMS Auto-reply to work in the Workflow Builder do the Business SMS permissions need to remain enabled in the role for the user? I want to stop the users from being able to use SMS and send out auto-replies instead.

I’m working on an integration to embed RingCentral into our application. Part of our application allows for the input of payment information taken from consumers - sensitive information that we do not want to be included in the call recording (based on the fields that are focused). We have ACR turned on for the account I’m working in, and when I attempt to pause a recording, I receive an HTTP 403 with error code TAS-115: ACR mute is not supported for this call.Does ACR prevent a normal user from being able to pause (and unpause) the call recording, and if so, is there a way to allow this? I can’t find anything about this specific error code, or the associated message (or why it’s a 403), so any guidance on this would be appreciated.

Hi,I am developing an integration for AppConnect and I have two question:Is there a way to show notifications in the RingCentral UI? I am interested in both sending messages in response to the interface functions as well as initialising a message/notifcation on demand as well The Settings → Call-pop section seems to indicate a feature to pop or display contact within the CRM itself. Is there some way for me to provide a URL that RC can open? Perhaps I can return it with the other properties I return in the searchContact response? I am expecting the integration to display the contact in CRM.Thanks in advance.

Unable to get Ringout to call the number listed in the workflow. 

Our RingCentral account merged to our parent company account. Our account setup as Site Extension account. How do I get our call log by Site Extension. I do not want to get my parent company’s call logs.I try to do  rcCallLogResponse = await restClient.Restapi().Account().Extension("62000").CallLog().List(readUserCallLogParameters); it is not working.  Thanks,Yihan

I have a rather odd problem with my RingCentral Poly VVX 450.I have added multiple Presence Extensions to my phone and the second one in the list never shows on the screen.For example, I have added six other extensions to the phone. each users name shows on the list except for the second in the list. If I remove that extension, the next one in the list disappears, and only shows four names. If I leave a blank line, the blank space will show and the next name in the list disapears.I have tried “resyncing” the phone multiple times, adding and removing extensions but it seems that the second in the list is always missing.

I am a super Admin but am unable to create Company Workflows in the Automator 

We want to keep our business numbers with Ring Central for voice but we also text with customers from our business number. Because we have several different businesses and because there's no easy way to tell which number a customer has 'texted' within the glip/rc phone interface - it doesn't work well for us. We'd much rather have texts go into our team inbox platform (FrontApp). We can do this using twilio but they were unsure if, when going through the verification process, if Ring Central would allow Twilio to handle the SMS portion while keeping the number for voice.

How can i set up missed call and voicemail automation so that whenever a client calls and we miss their call, they receive an auto-generated message from our end? For example: “We are currently experiencing a high volume of clients and will get back to you shortly”.Additional, i want to integrate this setup with my IVR menu, as IVR system already has key press options.

Company has an existing eFax account used by a small number of remote employees for sending/receiving non sensitive information.    I did a test fax from that number to our RingCentral fax line and when it comes into the RingCentral fax it shows a random phone number.   I did two tests and both times it came through with a different random number.    Just curious why it is doing this and not showing the actual eFax number?  

Is there a way to create Workflow Builder workflows that are conditional during business hours. For example, if we have a missed call during business hours I would like a text message A to be sent to the customer, and after business hours I would like text message B sent to a customer.I have an after-hours sms auto reply set up, but after business hours automator will send both the after-hours auto reply and the missed call sms

How do I update the RingSense for CX licenses?  I can do it via inventory for our RingEX licenses, but not CX.  We have several CX users who had their agent licenses removed, but they are still showing up in our list of RingSense users.  They don’t have a RingSense license for EX or CX so shouldn’t be showing on the list at all.  The only thing I can think is that their RingSense for CX license is still active.

In order to work remotely and use RingCentral, must you lug the physical phone around with you in order to receive calls?
