I am trying to switch from wi-fi to Ethernet connection.  I have disabled the wi-fi and powered down the phone and backup; however, the phone does not work.  I have my computer plugged into the back of the phone, and it is working just fine.  Is there something I have to do to tell it to switch.

We are a pest control company which uses multiple different numbers that correlate with surrounding towns. We have 5 different numbers total and they are now each attached to 1 of the 6 phones here in the office. I have a main number on ring central that rings on all phones in the office through the call queue which is great, but if a customer is calling one of the other numbers then it only rings on the phone here in the office that has that number as an extension. I would like for if a customer calls any of the 5 numbers that it will ring on all phones here in the office, so no matter which phone number the customer calls it will be able to be picked up here in the office. We are a small business and I am sure that I am not the only person that has tried to do what I am talking about. My thought was perhaps I can have all the 5 numbers call forward the incoming calls to the main phone number through ring central, but after looking into this I am finding that ring central doesn’t allo

Hello- I have a user that is on a desktop app and they are not able to receive SMS text on the direct phone # that is associated with their extension. They can send SMS the issue is only with receiving. Is there a setting or any way to resolve this? 

The call option seems to be there, but HubSpot seems to be lacking a text button.

Hi all,How do I setup user coverage on RingCentral?  By coverage I mean that if a user is getting a call and she’s not able to pickup, then whoever is assigned to cover his/her phone will start to ring and able to pickup call, then if nobody can answer the calls, then it goes to the voicemail of the first intended user since that is the destination the caller was trying to reach.Thanks 

We use an SMS prompted RingOut workflow for after hour emergencies. The RingOut works, but we need to change the incoming caller ID to our RingCentral phone number and not the recipients number. Our after hours team has our RingCentral number saved as an approved number on their phones so these calls aren’t missed when snoozed after hours.Just to clarify, I’m not referring to the ID the recipient (person initiating the workflow) sees, but rather the number that shows up when RingCentral calls our team. Is it possible to change this? 

I’m trying to use this to update a phone, and have been struggling with my automation to get it to work. It keeps giving me “Parameter [phoneLines] value is invalid”, so I decided to try it through that website with the same exact data - it also gave me the same error.  Where can I retrieve the proper phoneLine ID? What I’ve been using is the same as what’s in the URL when looking at the phone number at service.ringcentral.com, for example: service.ringcentral.com/application/company/numberDetail/[THISNUMBER] That number is also the ID under “phoneInfo” on “List Extension Devices”, which is what my automation is using.   Thank you! 

Hey there!Is there a way to sort call recordings by call duration?For example, in the admin portal’s detailed view, I can filter by inbound or outbound calls for a specific extension within a given time frame—but I don’t see an option to filter or sort by call length (e.g., calls between X and Y minutes in length). Is that possible?Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you! 

How do we turn off the AI assistant for all users at once? ...it’s causing a lot of call disruptions and we don’t want it enabled by default. 

I recently set up RingCentral App Connect with Clio and it works as expected for matching numbers in the E.164 standard for call-pop, contact matching, and call logging functionality. Very cool!However, it does not seem to search or find numbers in any other format, including those which have been manually defined in the “Phone number format alternatives” section, e.g. (***) ***-****Any ideas? I am an admin and have tried to override the number format at admin (managed) and user level.  No results.  I have already reset, logged in and out, etc. 

I am trying to submit a suggestion for new RingCentral Automator work flows.  I hope this is the correct place.I would like to see the Automator fully automated to support the TCR requirements.  Specifically:send the opt out verbiage with the text message record the customer preferences to ensure text messages are not sent when the customer has opted out or are send when they have opted in

I currently can only add one extension under the “Deliver faxes to” section in from our main fax number. I need to add more than one user to be able to receive mainline faxes. Whats the best way forward for this?   

I know how and where to listen to our employees calls to customers. My question/issue is this: I pull up a five minute call, start the playback, but the recording only lasts for as long as the receiving caller is talking; once the caller is put on hold to transfer to another employee, there’s no more recording access.Is there a way for me to get the remainder of the recording?

From our current testing, server side logging is still logging the author as the admin user who has it enabled. Is this true for everyone else, or is there a setting I am missing?

RingCentral app and MS Teams ring together, how to stop this simultaneous ringCurrently if a user is using both the RC App and MS Teams is integrated with RC, when a call comes in, it rings on both RC App and Teams.Is there a way to stop/chose where the user wants the call to ring, i.e. either the RC App or MS Teams.The only option I currently see is to disable the RC and Teams integration for the user.
