greetings. I have a user that states she hears a beeping during call that are being auto recorded. this interferes with conversations and messages she leaves with customers. I have removed the auto-recording feature from her user and it stops beeping. I reactivate is and she hears it again. She has the same settings as others users in her department and they do not hear any beeping. Thank you for your input.

I have many call queue users who will continue to get calls when their computer is locked even though they toggle off Accept Call Queue Calls and change their status/presence to DND. When they unlock their computer, it shows their status as Available and within several seconds it changes back to DND. Please help!

Calls that we make from our desk phones to AT&T mobile numbers DO go through. Calls made from AT&T mobile numbers TO any of our company phone numbers do NOT go through. AT&T Wireless customers get a busy signal or a "We're sorry but all circuits are busy" message. Sprint and Verizon callers do not seem to be affected, and are able to call us just fine.I called RingCentral support, and I was told that maybe it is because all 50 of our phone numbers had somehow been flagged as spam. This doesn’t make any sense for a number of reasons:If we are flagged as spam, why are we still able to call AT&T customers? Shouldn’t they have blocked us from calling their customers instead of the other way around?How did all 50 of our phone numbers get reported for spam simultaneously? We have only publicized about 10 of these phone numbers. How would someone find the others?The chat support in the RingCentral admin does not work. The virtual assistant said an agent would be arriving short

I would like my callers to be able to dial the extension of their choice. What am I missing? For example, we created an extension for each state we do business in. “To reach your regional account manager, please dial the two-digit state from which you are calling.” (Arizona = AZ = 29) I cannot figure out how to let my callers dial Extension 29! I can’t figure it out : ( The IVR menu only goes 1-9. And once you’re in a Queue, you can’t dial an extension?? WHAT? HELP 

Hello, OAU-141 - Authentication is prohibited due to an inappropriate user stateI’ve started getting these errors in production. It has worked fine for the longest time and I’m not sure what’s causing this. The first time I got it I stopped the process and waited several minutes before starting it again which worked fine. This time that doesn’t seem to be working.Any help appreciated as I cannot find any information about this error.

How do I route a call to a call queue when a user is busy?If I turn call waiting ‘off’ it will route the call to voicemail for the particular user, but I wish to have the option to route it to a call queue extension instead so that a ‘human being’ can answer the call instead of ‘voicemail’.Is this currently possible?  If not, it may be a good suggestion for future implementation.Thanks in advance!Peter

Hopefully somebody is able to advise on this as I’ve not been able to find the info online. We work with a finance company who want to be able to access our call logs for audit purposes - is there any way to set up access for them to our call recordings without us giving them a full admin privileges?  Thank you for the help.

I have tried adding the automatic call recording feature, but it is not working. The AI chat is abhorrent. I am assuming this is a feature I need to pay for.  

I am with Clean Slate Tax, users of RingCentral and we use texting more to reach our clients that we made it part of our sales process. Is there any way to get reports of users for the amount of texts sent, when, and so on? If there isn't, then is there a way to get reports of how many text each user sends? I would like to request that.

how do I sort contacts by last name

We use the RingCentral apps on our work computers and therefore have it open all the time. One user is being set as offline (and therefore receiving emails for all notifications) within the 30mins time out setting and with the program still open (albeit behind other windows). How can we stop him from being set to offline when the program is open?

I recently received a fax with no heading and no date in the body of the fax. Is there a way on the user/admin side to make sure RingCentral adds Sender/Date/Time, perhaps to the bottom of the fax?

I am buying a Light Phone which is a simple cell phone with no apps. I would like to be able to use it with my Ring Central number as my RC device. Effectively, it would become my work phone. Is it possible to set up RC to use this phone as my device?

Is it possible to know if an incoming call is a transferred call from another of our users using the webRTC phone? My company has a need for outside users (non Ring Central numbers) to text a common number as a "help" line to speak with a technician. The problem I have is I need this to be setup similar to a shared inbox. Meaning, a text comes in, a number of defined technicians see it, first available responds. I would like the response to come from the "help line" number, not the individual number of the tech who responded. Is this possible?

Is there a way to extend the amount of time a user has to dial a number when using their desk phone? We have Polycom VVX311's and some folks have had trouble dialing a number especially one they are not familiar with before it times out.

While we successfully able to send SMS via API, we need to understand how we can receive a notification back in case some one reply to SMS . We need to implement SMS reply status in our application and looking forward to hearing solution around it.

I have an application that downloads recordings using the ruby sdk. I am unable to download any recordings and get an error: OAU-213 (Token not found). The token should be valid since it has not expired.Can anyone provide any insight why this might be happening?

I have been trying since early January to learn if RingCX is a fit a customer, who serves the banking industry and has very specific call requirements. I have our call queue setup for Simultaneous. It only rings 1 time before going to voicemail. I can't find any setting to change the number of rings before going to voicemail.Thanks.
