New to ring central.I work for a mfg. company for sales and tech and we have a queue for the incoming tech calls.Average around 30-50 calls per hour.After a call is finished there is a 30 second pause until the next call appears.Is there a way to control this pause? Can i disable it or turn it on as I need it?Sometimes I want to answer the calls and get people taken care of ASAP and the 30 second pause makes the process take forever.To control this pause between calls would be a gamechanger.Any help is appreciated.

Is there a way to dial calls from the ring central desktop application and have them ring out through our desk phones? We would like to better leverage our Contacts in RC and the chrome extension but everyone on the team has a desk phone, and we'd like to still utilize them. The only solution we have found is call flipping, but the calls can’t be flipped from the desktop to the desk phone until it connects, leaving customers on hold while we fumble to select the right phone and pick it up. Is there a solution that will automatically flip the call once dialed or to run the call through the connected desk phone instead of the softphone?

I am attempting to monitor the recipient's phone status using call session status webhooks, https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Call-Control/readCallSessionStatus. However, I have noticed that as soon as the call is initiated, the status changes from "Proceeding" to "Answered", even if neither party has answered the call yet. Additionally, when the recipient eventually picks up the phone, the status remains unchanged. Is this expected behavior for the "Answered" status? I was under the impression that the status would only change to "Answered" once the recipient actually answered the call.Even if the user doesn't answer the phone, the call status remains "Answered".How can we verify if the user answered the call or if it was missed without any response?Thanks.

In the settings for the app I have "Webhook Subscriptions" checked, but all I get is application permission denied. I am missing something and I do not know what. We have Yealink Ultra-elegant gigabit IP phone SIP-T48U. Incoming calls show as our office tel number on top and below it is the incoming tel number. I need it to show the name of the caller. How do I do that?TIA

How could I go about splitting the incoming calls from a certain extension to automatically switch over to a new extension after a certain amount of hours. We have two call shifts during the day: 8:30-1, and 1-4:30. Two separate people, with two separate extensions that we have to manually switch each time. Is there a way to do this automatically? I looked at the "User Hours" under Settings, does this affect a single user, if so, if I set one user to one shifts hours, and another person to the second shift, will the extension automatically switch?

Ring Central's Admin Portal is a scam and also the Setting up TCR registration and assigning numbers to your SMS campaigns (ringcentral.com) where it doesn't even say anything about the delay it would take for provisioning numbers. In Admin Portal, it says it would take a couple of hours but how long does Ring Central's "couple of hours" take?I already assigned the numbers to the campaigns which are already registered, so I waited for the ETA that the 4 Customer Support from the TCR Ring lines that I've talked to which they said 2-3 hours. And guess what? It is still not even now (7 hours) and we can't use our SMS on Ring. Now, talking to their supervisor and they told me it would take 72 hours. I have been using the API to fetch message data, but I noticed that the API response does not include any information about message reactions.I could not find any information about reactions in the API response or the reference documentation. Hello,I am trying to implement rich text to the messages presented on my app's frontend (bold, italic, strikethrough, increase/decrease indent, bulleted/numbered list) by converting message body text received through RingCentral into html strings.I am receiving message text in a tweaked type of Markdown in my get requests, which I see is called Mini Markdown made by RingCentral.These message strings are very tricky to convert into HTML using typical libraries for that, such as markdown-it, marked, showdown etc. because of the specific deviations from Markdown conventions in these message body strings I'm receiving through RingCentral API. We the registered the TCR though ring central. 1) Can and should we also register with the website www.campaignregistry.com 2) Is there like a customer portal with the TCR to show you if there any any complaints or fines on your account. What happens in the future if there are fines or issues with your compliancy where do we handle these matter. Though ring central or directly on TCR websites?

I do not understand why we need to ask for our customer permission to text them, then ask the next time they text us permission to continue to text them. Why can't we just ask in the first opt in the question if its ok if we continue to text them per scheduling service invites things related to our company services

We currently only use SMS to remind current employees that their timecards are due or if there are questions regarding their timecards. We do not currently have an "opt-in" procedure.1. Do current employees who are already texting us need to opt-in?2. Are we able to send them a text message asking if they would like to receive timesheet reminders or not and count this as their opt-in or out response?

If we are only using Ring Central for voicemail, do we still have to register for TCR?

My company is small, and we primarily use Glips for messaging; we never use SMS text. Do we still need to create a campaign? According to what I read, if we register/create a campaign, but don't use text periodically, we could (and probably) will be fined. Seems silly.

I am an attorney. Typically, I send and receive less than 100 texts per month. I am not using SMS for marketing purposes. Usually, an existing client texts me a question. I text a response. A potential client may text and request representation/legal services. Does RC want a sample of these types of texts in order to authorize my continued use of Ring Central SMS?

All inbound calls are greeted with "thank you for calling (business name), one of our agents will be with you momentarily". How do I change it so that inbound callers only hear a conventional ring tone? We are a 3-person family business rather than some mega corp.

We do not want to use the SMS text feature. We've tested and if someone texts us it looks like the text has been received, even though we do not receive it. Is there a way to reject inbound texts or send back a failed delivery notice?
