We do not want to use the SMS text feature. We've tested and if someone texts us it looks like the text has been received, even though we do not receive it. Is there a way to reject inbound texts or send back a failed delivery notice?

I have had this account and phone number for 7 years now and use this as my personal and primary line to call and text my clients. I have been using it for years.. I don't use it as a big campaign, or send out hundreds or thousands of messages at once. My clients have already agreed to talking to me with my outbound agents. Transitioning to using an opt-in will kill my responses from my clients with them thinking its a bot talking to them and not me. I will leave RingCentral if I have to use Opt-in and opt-out for this personal business line that I have been using for 7 years. Is there a way around this or am I misunderstanding this whole process?

When applying, it says our address needs to match the address from our EIN application form, (which was outside of the US at the time of applying). However when I fill out the application it does not allow me to change the country field. Is there any way to submit an application in this situation? It says if they do not match it will be rejected automatically, so I'm not sure how to fix this.

We are a Non-Profit. We obtain donations through our 3rd-party payment processor's configurable forms on our website. Phone and Mobile Phone are among the available fields. Is it necessary that our processer's form "State that recipients are consenting to receive SMS messages...?"

In the RC portal, it states:Conversational messagesHigh volume: Frequent text messages to customers (i.e., daily or weekly)Low volume: A few text messages to customers (i.e., monthly)However, in a tutorial I watched (I think the How to Self Register Vimeo), it defines Low Volume as less than 15,000 SMS a month and up to 6 SMS per minute. They also call the other option "Standard," not High Volume. I thought we'd qualified for Low Volume, but now I'm not sure. Thank you.

Our FAX app has graduated to production. However, every FAX we send still results in a confirmation email. Is there a way to turn off the confirmation emails?

Can someone at RingCentral please directly answer or give examples for how a business that is only using SMS for direct (non marketing) texting would submit a campaign application? How can we ask for opt-in from individuals who text us directly? How about vendors who use text for business purpose? A working example of the application process start to finish would be most helpful.To summarize, how does a business that is not using SMS for marketing, but rather just for direct one-on-one conversations, submit a campaign application? We don't do large texts or use short code. Really there is no way for a mobile company to know we are a business, so why do we have to register? We have 1 line and 1 person using the system.

I have an EIN but use a dba for my business website. How can I register for TCR under my dba?

When we visit the TCR website the first registration option is to get setup with TCR as a CSP. This also requires that we pay a $200 registration fee. Neither registration as a CSP nor the required fee were specified in the RingCentral documentation for this process.We are a freight forwarding company...not a communications service provider. I'm having trouble finding information about how to extend the limit of 49 lines on a single "campaign".Does anyone know of a work around for the extension limit or must I create multiple campaigns to cover all of my extensions?

We don't text customers, we mainly receive texts, very minimum (i.e. 2 step verification type texts), do we still need to set a SMS campaign?

Why are users down with SMS if all users have until 3/31 to comply with the new rules? The fix should not be case by case and “we are investigating” just open it up globally while you then fix individual issues. We are literally losing business. @Becky-Community_Manager

I am no longer able to make outbound calls with my sandbox account. It shows this yellow checkmark saying "Outbound calls restricted" when you hover over it.The problem seems to be that it needs an emergency address; however, no matter what address I put in it just says:With no indication of which field is in error or what the problem with the address is. Confused on the registration. Is Ring Central charging $40 do facilitate the registration process of registering my SMC? They provided me the attached form to fill out for the registry process. Is this all I need to do? is fill out that form and send it to Ring Central. Also, why can't I just submit the form to the csp.campaignregistry.com or should I use Ring Central because there advantages of using you guys to facilitate this process.

After registering your SMS phone number business name with the registry, Will consumers now have caller id when you text them to see who is calling. For instance if your company name is Billy Bang Shrimp company. Will the customer automatically see that name when receiving a text. I do not want my callers to see the company name because I use one phone to service three of my companies and it would confuse them to get a caller id call form a different company

In the past, with other API integrations, I've created an interface in the platform's Admin panel where the merchant (owner of the store/website) can configure their access credentials that are used for retrieving the API token.If I understand RC correctly, however, I must first create an App and then somehow provide the merchant with its Client ID and Client Secret. Those values, in turn, would be used to collect the merchant's access credentials (in the Admin panel) via OAuth or a JWT.Is it safe to store the Client ID and Client Secret in my integration, or is there a better way to provide them to the merchant?My intention is to make this integration available publicly to merchants and have it be as simple as possible

I have a phone in a common area and I need to have it automatically dial the receptionist when the handset is picked up. This is a pretty common feature among phone systems, however I have not been able to figure out how to accomplish this. Can someone point me in the right direction?
