I have one phone system user that wants to be able to answer calls coming in to 2 (or 3) different direct numbers. I set up a call queue for one of the numbers and it works fine through the IVR menu that I set up. (Press 4 for xxxx). However, one other number cannot go through IVR, so if I forward it to the user's phone, he has no idea that it is coming from that "special" number. Is there a way around this?

Hi Community,I have questions regarding app graduation. We have a app that gets telephony session notifcations through webhooks. We use just one filter: /restapi/v1.0/account/~/telephony/sessions1. For testing purposes we removed all permissions from the app, but we still be able to subscribe/unsubscribe to/from the notifications and receive them. How is this possible? What is the reason for giving 'WebhookSubsciption' and 'CallControl' permissions to the app then?2. We have similar situation: https://community.ringcentral.com/questions/109339/exercise-all-requested-permissions-not-met-even-th.html. We need to detect call states such as call start, hold, unhold and call end. From the response in above thread I understood that to pass graduation we only need to subscribe/unsubscribe several times and we only need 'WebhookSubscrition' permission set for the application. Can we group Manager and Members for Call Recording so the managers of each department will only be able to listen to the call recordings for their members.

How can I give a manager access to the call logs of the people that report to them without giving them access to the whole company? Like their boss's calls.

I've heard that the desktop phone app will eventually be phased out. The HUD is a favorite feature in our office since the staff can see other staffers' status and who they're speaking with. Will the HUD functionality be incorporated into the Ring Central (Glip) app? If so, when? If not, why not? Thanks!

I can change a users details like name, email address, role and also the delete the call log via the API but how can I also automatically clear any saved or unheard messages before a new user takes over a number please?

In one of these accounts I created my application. I'd like to demote the original super admin user to a regular user and then promote another user to the position. I thought it was tied to the extension, but changing their extension didn't affect anything.

Our business hours are 8AM to 5PM M-F. Staff usually arrive around 7:30AM to begin getting ready for the day. Our phone system is set to go to an off-site answering service “after Hours” but the staff needs to be able to communicate within the company prior to business opening. I have tried setting up a custom rule according to tech support but that is not working. Has anyone found a way to do this ?Thank you

I am looking for a report/graph that will allow me to see at what times per day we receive the most calls. We are looking to implement an answering service and want to see what times of day it would be most useful to forward calls to the answering service.

A few members of our team wanted to use the Ring Central mobile app for answering calls. The issue that this creates is in the status indicator on both the mobile and desktop app. When someone locks their phone or closes the app, RingCentral automatically sets that user to offline, even if they are online on their desktop. Is there a way to turn off this automatic status handling?

I am trying to see if my system has the capability of creating Queue priorities based on incoming caller IDs. So if a customer is a higher priority they get put to the front of the line.

Currently have a single level IVR set up through AT&T Office@Hand. I want to switch to a multi-level IVR, but receive the following message when I click on the drop down box "Warning: By switching to Multi-level IVR mode, all of your existing company call handling settings will be discarded. Please confirm that you wish to proceed" If I switch to begin building out a Multi-Level IVR, what happens to the incoming calls for the single level IVR that was previously in place?

When I came into the office this Friday Morning 9/16, about a third of my users have the error that their Emergency Address was not imputed, but when they go to input our address the system does not accept the address. They get validation errors.I have attempted as the Admin adding the address under Users: Personal Emergency Response Locations. But I get the same 'validation error' and cannot update it.I even went to the Phones & Devices: User Phones and tried to update there, but the systems is still not accepting our address.I all the variations of the address, but it will still not accept this.We have not changed up updated anything system wide in months, so it makes no since why this would be an issue now.All other attempts to contact RingCentral support have not gone through either, anyone else have success tracing this issue?

We are wondering if a call comes through a line (single user, extension, not a call queue) while it is on DND does it count as "missed" in the analytics and reporting?
