Hello,I am in the process of moving some common area phones into an internal call policy role only, but I am concerned that they will not be able to call outbound to 911 in an emergency.Does anyone know for sure that this option is still available while using this policy? I'd rather not have to test it to find out.

Hello, I wanted to know it is possible for there to be a time stamp option when searching call logs. To replicate, got to https://service.ringcentral.co.uk/ then Reports>Call LogDetailed and then in the date picker, I can only select specific dates. If we had a report of calls dropping at a specific time of the day I cannot search them, for example all calls on the 17th of August 2022 at 14:30pm.Any help would be much appreciated.

We have multiple call queues created (Simultaneous) for call center on RingCentral portal, which is still under the project phase and not yet in production.We did a test to simulate the problem we have.Tried calling few call center numbers, and informed call center agents not to pick up. The ringing time is only last for 10 sec then straight to the voicemail.How do we set the ringing time to last for > 1 mins? please can you advise?

I have a Yealink T46S. It has 2 softkeys that I do not use - Intercom and Page. Yealink says these keys can be reprogrammed to display "history". Yealink said RC needs to do this and send me detailed instructions as well as the needed history file. RC says they cannot reprogram the keys. I contacted Yealink again & they reiterated that RC must make the change. I have the directions and can probably do it myself but need an id and password after I enter the phone IP address.Has anyone changed their softkeys? What id and password do I need? I tried mine for RC but it did not work. I'm thinking it has to be an RC id & password for an IT type person.

Dear community,I need to develop a server based webhook call monitoring application. Golang will be used as a progamming language. I did a research on available sdks and libraries for Golang and i like this one: https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-go/blob/master/ringcentral.go although it is not mentioned as an official sdk on the https://developers.ringcentral.com/guide/sdks. Is it considered obsolete? If no, then why it is not on the sdk page? I need something well tested, reliable and simple. Some of our call queues have been overwhelmed by spam calls lately, so I am trying to configure a Custom Answering Rule. We use Invoca as a "Ring Pool", meaning our website displays a special phone number, which when called redirects the caller to our RingCentral toll free number and call queue. I've already set Invoca to forward the calls with a specific caller ID, so that I can create a Custom Answering Rule for those calls. Can I create a second rule that sends all other calls to voicemail? I need all other calls to bypass the employee's phones without ringing the queue. I can't find a way to set an ELSE statement or set the order of the rules.

Under HUD you should see conference. It is not listed. Under actions at the top of the app start a conference call is not an option.

He's using the phone & laptop based app. I want him to be able to call, text, and possibly fax people from my US-based telephone number. Hi everyone,Is there a way to have a custom answering rule route to an IVR menu? I tried user extension, but I can't select an IVR extension. For example, for all holidays I would like to have a custom answering rule that routes to simple IVR menu that allows for a greeting to the nature of "Hello. We're closed for the holiday, but if this is an emergency press 9 now and you'll be routed to our emergency response team." If there isn't an official way to do this is there some sort of workaround I could implement?

If an agent is locked out of their computer and their Ring Central status is set to "Do not disturb." Is there a mechanism to set their Ring Central status back to available so they can receive phone calls on their physical phone? For example: 3CX allows DTMF codes to set status as away or online.

Been working on an SMS app via Python/Django. I was able to get everything running just fine with the Password based Auth Flow, however, I am looking at using JWT.I setup a sandbox JWT credential and update my sandbox app to use the JWT. Then I copied the login script from https://developers.ringcentral.com/guide/authentication/jwt/quick-start. Just to run a quick test, I just ran this script (after updating my .env file with the the JWT credentials).Now I get an error that "Unable to authenticate to platform. Check credentials.Unauthorized for this grant type"I have found several articles supporting this method and all seems to be setup correctly. This script didn't use the .env file, just entered my credentials and received the same error. Dear community,For my application that leverages webhook to get telephony session notifications I need a way to uniquely identify calling/answering agent. The typical notification that I receive looks like this one below:Currently for user identification I use name field. I marked the field that is currently used for identification. I need this information to uniquely map calling/answering agent with some entity in my system.So my questions here:1. Is it possible that two agents have same name in the system? In this case the field name cannot be used to uniquely identify agents.2. Can extensionId be used to uniquely identify agents? If yes, then where can I get the extensionId for a particular agent, as this information available in notification only and not in Admin Console (at least I wasn't able to find it there). I assume that what is displayed in Ext. column is not actual extension as for user with the name Nikolai Chashchin Ext.101 is displayed while with the notification I g

I'm set up so that when someone calls our extension 6000 is goes to multiple people that are a mix of physical phones and app users that each have their own extensions. I can't figure out how to make it so the app users are able to receive calls when the ex 6000 is set to ring desktop & app. The only way around this is to have the apps users cell phone number entered in the call forwarding but then it won't use the app and therefore those users can't transfer calls.
