I'm attempting to implement 3-legged OAuth and I saw a post from 3 years ago stating the Authorization Code expire time is 5 minutes. Has this changed since then? It seems to be much shorter as by the time I copy/paste my authorization code into my app (after about 5-10 seconds), I get an error "Authorization Code is Expired".I'm implementing a desktop application but the authorization code request is done via a web page, so I was thinking of having the user authenticate and then copy/paste the auth code into the desktop app which then requests a token.Please let me know if I need to change my approach due to the expire time.Thanks!

I want to use High Volume SMS. We have been told that our phone number is enabled for this. I have a need to copy a fairly long text string (over multiple days). I know I can copy each individual text, but that's very time consuming. I can also do a screen shot, but again, that's almost as time-consuming. Is there a better alternative? I use the desktop version of RC...NOT the new "app". Also, running Windows 10.Thanks.

Please consider providing a way to set a red "Busy" Status manually without blocking message sounds the way "Do Not Disturb" Status does in Ring Central (Classic).Preferably a customizable Status where you could type in the reason for "Busy" (i.e. - Away, Training, etc ...).

How do you answer and hang up calls from the Plantronics headset? We are new to RC and will be going live with the new phone system soon. I need to be able to answer calls without logging back into my computer if it went to sleep. I have already downloaded the the Plantronics Hub software and updated the firmware on the headset. We want to set up a 'office closed line' extension where users call in and check if an office will be open or not. If an office is closed to to inclement weather we need a way that staff can check the status of their office.

We are currently experiencing pretty choppy phone calls. This only happens when we have inbound/outbound calls. When we talk to other people on RingCentral everything seems fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I would like to request a feature update to meetings that allows the scheduler of the meeting to assign a different host when creating the invite, before the meeting starts.In our company, I schedule the meetings and send out the invites, but I am never the host. The current setup forces me to sign into a meeting, then try to assign another host and quickly log off before our potential client signs in. This creates meeting confusion and looks unprofessional.Can you please fix this??

RC Classic Version: 20.2.30 (E. 7.1.8)I am barely able to hear anyone on my meetings, even with my headphone, computer, and RC volumes all the way up. This had never been an issue until an update that happened yesterday.It appears that the volume slider in RC has tied itself to my computer volume slider. If I slide the RC volume to 100%, it is still quiet, but all of my computer noises are extremely loud (I have to go into the sound mixer and adjust system sounds to be lower).Troubleshooting steps taken:-Trying RC Meetings instead of RC Classic-Uninstalling RC Meetings and trying RC Classic-Uninstalling both RC Meetings and RC Classic, reinstalling just RC Classic-Toggling all audio checkbox options on and off

I set up an integration with the event subscrition"/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/EXTENSION_ID/presence?detailedTelephonyState=true&sipData=true"It is working well but for each call I receive 3 notifications with the following telephony statuses: Ringing, CallConnected, NoCall.I am only interested in the NoCall status.Is it possible to add a paramter to receive only event with this status? I tried to add "&telephonyStatus=NoCall" on the event filter but I have a 400 status when trying to set it up. Hello fellow RC Meetings users, We teach international students through RC Meetings and often use the Chat function to post hyperlinks for various language learning activities. This function is no longer working for many (all?) of us and we have not been able to find a solution. Hoping someone has a solution.

People call my RingCentral number have been getting this message all day. I am in Vancouver, Canada. I called into RingCentral and they can't fix the problem. Quite frustrating.

Recently in the last 3 or 4 months RingCentral decided that we couldn't use a duplicate email when setting up an account. I already have 3 conference rooms that we use the same email for. Now that I am setting up a 4th conference room I am prevented from using the same email address. Why? I wasn't asked to create new email accounts when the change happened so I don't see that duplicate emails are a problem since I have them. I can use the same email for notifications and the system doesn't have a problem. I see a check box to not look for duplicate addresses when setting up an account but it is greyed out. If I can't do it don't put a box on the screen. So what would be the problem with a duplicate address?

I could copy and paste my chat message history in RC classic, but it's not working in the newest RC app 20.4.10.284. I need to download my chat message history logs for work. How to do it easily?
