I believe I've found a major bug in Ring Central Webinar when connecting with an iPhone. Here are the steps to reproduce...1. Make sure you have both Ring Central Meetings and the Zoom App installed on your iPhone.2. Build a new webinar that doesn't require registration. Copy the Hyperlink so you can join the webinar from your iphone.3. Start the webinar and try to use the link on your iPhone. It opens the FREAKING Zoom app instead of the Ring Central app and gives an error code.-This isn't a problem for Webinars where the attendees need to register ahead of time.-When I remove the Zoom app it works fine and opens Ring Central like it should.

On a particular user extension, there is a custom recording set for the annoucement that is played before a call is accepted on a non-ringcentral number (A mobile number for example).I want to switch this back to the default announcement. But I cannot find this anywhere. Does anyone know where this is stored?

Can I disable the public park on my RingCentral Phone? I know this an old app but I have to use it for the integration with eAgent. Please let me know. I don't want the staff to accidentally park the call there since we will not be using the park feature at all. Thank you

I have 13 Yealink T48S phones. I would like to program the hotkeys to either intercom or page other phones Yealink T48S phones in the office. While the phone supports this when I set it up manually on the phone, Ringcentral provisioning does not, and reboots/overwrites the phone hotkeys.

Please include Jabra Evolve 80 in the upcoming remote call control release. Almost all Jabra Evolve products are named on the supported device list -- except Jabra Evolve 80. Specifically, since moving to RingCentral, my Jabra Evolve 80 Headset is not fully functional. I can't accept, or end calls using Evolve Link (the hockey puck.) Thank you

If we have 2-3 different extension, what is the best api call to get the name and details of all the available extension?For example, if 2 extension are there 101 and 103, where 101 belong to john and 103 to peter, what api call will give all these details?Can be done with node js? Any reference?

In the RingCentral App, there is a setting under Notifications and Sounds => Email Notifications => Direct Messages => Receive email notifications for direct messages. The setting is enabled, but does not actually send the emails for received/sent direct messages. This function would be extremely beneficial to our firm, as all internal communication must be retained for compliance purposes. We use an email retention service, so the email notifications for direct messaging would allow us to properly retain direct messages, and allow the entire firm to utilize the great direct messaging system in the RingCentral App.

I recently started seeing this red 'reload' type icon next to names in the Direct Messages list. Any idea what it indicates? You can't click the icon, because it disappears as soon as you hover over it.

I could not figure out a way to remove values from extensions contact information using the API.Both Update Extension and Update/Replace User seem to not offer the functionality to remove values, e.g. the mobile phone number.This is a common use case in our company, people having a mobile number migration to VOIP and therefore loose the mobile number. In such a case an automated process should remove the mobile number from the contact information.I tried sending empty value (with " and without), sending null.While everthing that is not a valid number returns a validation error, sending null (which I would have expected to be the right way as specified in JSON) does not send an error, but does not have an effect at all.So how can I remove contact information using the API call?

Hello. I am submitting this as a feature request. I would like a way to batch or script install new editions of both the Ring Central Desktop App and Ring Central Meetings.Currently, when you install a new version of either app, they do not overwrite the older versions, but coexist with their older counterparts. This makes installing and updating a pain as one has to go after the older remnant installations.The only way to uninstall RC via command prompt is to find the specific uninstall string in the registry and issue this type of command:.msiexec.exe /uninstall "{119A64E4-511B-49E1-9735-002FEDC282DD}"The issue is that whereas the program is loaded to the local appdata folder, and not the program files folder, the command only hits what ever user is currently signed in. The other real pain in the rear is that the uninstall string CHANGES every variant version of the software. So if I had 10 users all on different versions, I would have to get all 10 uninstall strings to uni

My team is using the standard Ringcentral app and we are unable to dial a number by clicking a call url in google chrome. It does not trigger the app to call. The RC Phone desktop app works correctly this way, but we're trying to just use the new app as it's advertised as all-in-one. Any suggestions are appreciated.

My situation is that I have up to four receptionists calling patients, each with their own extension. I have built a "dialer" function (using the Password Flow -> Ringout API calls) into my contact management system. I understand that there is a limit of 5 non-expired tokens per extension.This whole max token 5, token expire -> refresh token -> refresh token expire seems super complicated . I'll need to hire a team of expert hackers just to "hack in" to my own account. I was hoping to simplify things a tad, by doing this:1) Obtain a token, store the expiry time in a "per extension" scope variable. (minus 5 seconds just to ensure I am "within bounds"). In the request, set the 'refresh_token_ttl=0' bc I don't want to be using refresh tokens at all.. I think they are unnecessary.2) Keep using the existing token up until expire time3) After token expire time, obtain a new token, like I did in step 1 above.Is there anything wr

I am trying to get us set up correctly and am struggling to figure it out. We have multiple incoming lines, and different lines have a different call flow. I understand that to accomplish this the system needs to be set up as a multi-level IVR. I would like the auto attendant to answer along the lines of "Thank you for calling, if you know your party's extension you may dial it at any time. Press zero for the operator, press one for sales, press 2 for support etc, press nine for the dial by name directory." I am told that if I have a multi-level IVR enable I can't have the "press zero for the operator, press 9 for the dial by name directory" Is that true? Is there a work around to this?
