Admin Portal & Account Management

Does anyone have a solution to the following problem: We can call in North America for free with our plan, but then we also get charged $22 every single day for "change order: one time calling credits package". Our account manager is not so responsive, but she tells me that it is because we are calling to Germany, France, etc. Either the rates are not reasonable or something is wrong, but i can't get anyone at RC to give me other options - I asked our account manager - can't we just buy a plan that has unlimited international calling? Anyhow, we are going to have to switch to zoom phone (rates are not at an unlawful level), but we will lose some features that integrate into our software system. LEt me know if anyone has also experienced this or has a solution. Thank you,

I can't delete any blocked number.Furthermore I have a number "1" in the list somehow on the SuperAdmin extension and now no one can call any of our numbers, I called and escalated ... Still no solution 3 weeks now ... The developers said it is a "known issue" ... 15 year client and now our numbers are useless... Any ideas or suggestions / work arounds would be appreciated while we port away our numbers. Thanks.

Feature that will have more than 15 min waiting in a call queue

Something has changed with the sign in process on the ideas portal and I cannot sign in any more, it just comes back with "Record not foundWe could not find the record you requested because either:The record was deletedYou don't have permission to see the recordReturn home or contact us

I have just read an article in the BBC this morning mentioning that all VoIP calls that originate from outside the UK will now be blocked.Seeing as RingCentral makes use of VoIP technology I wanted to know if this will impact RingCentral customers that are based in the UK. Specifically, I'd like to know:Is something being done by RingCentral to make sure that all calls we make will continue to work as they currently do?Are there any changes that our company needs to do to ensure that we can still make calls going forward when this new update occurs? What will happen to a call if it gets redirected to a RingCentral server based outside of the UK?

As per new Guidelines in india merchant cannot do recurring charges on indian credit card without authenticating with one time password. So now i am to pay to Ringcentral with autdebit feature , please help......i contacted my bank also but they said merchant has to send one time password and then authenticate the charge

How can MS dynamic crm integrated with Ringcentral?Any pointer how to start with?

It is SUPER annoying and inconvenient that there's no option to toggle between multiple business phone numbers within the Ring Central app. It's not 'real time' if I have to log out and log back in to see what is happening with each business. This is a VERY important feature that needs added ASAP please!! :)

When setting up a meeting and including someone not on our plan, an unauthorized client email is sent automatically. It is sent to our admin and 3 other email addresses, one of which is not even on our plan. No one ever entered the 3 additional email addresses to receive any admin information. Support can not figure out how this is happening. Any ideas?

Is there a way to block or keep user from receiving or making calls from RingCentral app on their cell phone? We have some field staff that only need RC app for messaging and video. No phone. Trying to avoid accidental calls which we will be billed for.

I need help setting up auto pay

My bookkeeper asked if I can provide her with a RingCentral bill each month so that she can keep our accounts straight. Although our account is paid automatically each month, she still wants/needs an invoice for our records. Can I get an automatic email each month that shows the current charges and what was paid or what is due? How do I set that up? Thank you.

Our company hours are 9 - 5. We have three call queues, two of them are also set to 9 - 5. We have one queue we would like to have set to 8 - 5. Only 1 person would be answering calls at this time. We have her hours set to 8 - 3, all other members of the queue have their individual hours set to 9 - 5. Can our 8 AM start person receive calls from the queue if the company hours are set at 9 - 5?

Can someone explain to me how it makes sense to only migrate a couple of people at a time to RCV instead of an entire account? This is creating issues within our team.

Can we have the direct line set to have a number of rings first before it reach the user greeting and/or connecting message in a user extension?

Is anyone else experiencing issues recently with the ringcentral google chrome extension?Starting in the last week or so we've had several users report that when they make a call the other end can not hear them. So far when they restart their device it seems to work after that, but it's seeming to happen frequently so just trying to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing.https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ringcentral-for-google/fddhonoimfhgiopglkiokmofecgdiedb?hl=en

As Data Privacy and Compliance Officer I need to see whether anyone's personal details have been transmitted or received by any staff member over RC chat/Glip. How do I do this?

We have one main fax line for everyone. We would like to have the faxes printed to our main lobby printer. We don't just have one person collecting all the faxes ( whether it be by email or fax).RC only has the option to connecting the fax to a particular user, and then the settings can only be changed on the RC APP under the specific user not the RC website under Admin. Why can't an Admin change the settings to incoming fax on the website, and the settings can only be on the APP of the user?

Is there any option for Admin to log out their extension users from their logged in app. Example: if there are 3 extension users logged into their RC apps mobile or desktop, Admin wants one of the user to log out from all the app he or she is logged in, how can admin do that for the user? Can it be done from Admin portal?

Hi, I'm new to Ring Central and have a simple question hope someone can help.Basically, I'd like to find out how can I park a call and then transfer to the recipient using Polycom desk phone. For example, if I pick up a incoming call for my colleague and I need to park the call to a location and then inform my colleague (via intercom I guess) the park location for him/she to pick up the call. What do I need to setup to perform the above? Thanks in advance.

Hello,I have two RingCentral accounts, each tied to different email addresses with different organizations. Is there a way for me to link them and view within the same desktop or mobile app? I found I need to have one open in the app and another through a browser but it is very cumbersome to do. Would love any tips!Thank you,

Hi All,We use a ring group assigned from the user 'Main Receptionist' to simultaneous ring 15 staff extensions. Prior to the last software update, when an extension picked up a call, the HUD would correctly display that extension as on an active call. After the last update, the HUD now displays 'Main Receptionist' as on an active call but not the user extension that picked up. This is a huge problem because A) the user extension displays as available 2) Main Receptionist only shows active with the first number that called in Main Receptionist --> Ring Group (simultaneous ring) --> User Extensions It is not a problem with windows 10 app as far as I can tell. If a user extension is picked up on a physical device, main receptionist is shown as active on the phone itself as well.

Conversations are mostly text-based, so a text-type export (settings, administration, data export) would be more helpful than a .JSON file that later has to be converted to a .CSV, which is not the appropriate format for the data.

When I get a call to my RingCentral number and it goes to the RingCentral app on my mobile phone, it looks identical to when I get a call directly to my mobile number. I would like to see both the caller ID for every call and which number is being called (my RingCentral number or my mobile number). As a comparison (although it may not be exactly the same), I have a Google Voice number and that app on my mobile phone. When I get a call to my Google Voice number, that app pops up and shows me who is calling. So, it's clear that the incoming call is going to either my mobile number or to my Google Voice number, and the caller ID is shown in both. So, my question is this: Can I set things up where I can see both the caller ID and which number the incoming call is going to, rather than all incoming RingCentral calls looking identical to incoming calls to my mobile number? Thanks in advance.

I opened up case #12988469 with Support and they told me to ask Developers if this could be addresses in a future upgrade of the Admin portal. We are able to somewhat customize email notifications, but want to omit RingCentral branding from the notifications to users. How do we get rid of these two sections?
