Apple iOS support: Apple phones running iOS older than 12.1 will no longer be supported. The last version of the RingCentral mobile app those phones will be able to install is the March 22, 21.1.30 version.

We sometimes receive calls into the wrong department. It would be nice to be able to transfer calls to the call queue of the correct department rather than choosing an individual to transfer to. Thanks!

Can admin force a "Log in/Log out" in a call queue? Would like the user to remain in the queue but only have them answer calls when really needed. Is that possible?

Some of our users are abusing the ability to change their hold music. Access is granted to them through the "Standard" role. I don't see any options to create a custom role though, is there a way to block their access to the hold music on their extensions?

There should be an option for all users to be under the main number and only have extensions as opposed to having individual numbers. There should also be a feature that allows all users to send texts from the main number as to not confuse clients.

Is it possible to create a visible or audible alert when a trainer monitors a call? Our goal here is to let the "trainee" know that someone just barged into their active call?

I cannot get a clear answer to what is my "account number"?Is the account number the phone number I picked, the direct phone number provided, or a separate number? If its one of the phone numbers, what is the format (ie, xxx-xxx-xxxx. or (xxx) xxx-xxxx)?Thanks

Greetings everyone, and thank you in advance for your precious help.I would like to know if there is a solution, or a third-party app/product that can provide me with a kind of a buzzer, warning when a call is on a CALL QUEUE.Right now we have different support representatives that have the "accept queue calls" option set to OFF, and I want to let them know if we are missing a call on our CALL QUEUE to let them set the "accept queue calls" to ON and answer to the call.Right now we have the live report, but just seeing a 0 to 1 under a blank square is not attractive enought to know that "WE ARE MISSING A CALL" warning king of alert.Thanks again for your help,Mathieu.

Hello Ring Central, A lot of our customers are asking for the feature Ring Back Ring Tone. If the customer has been in a hold for x amount of time and the phone rings back to the main line, the system should recognize it as an existing call and not a new one. How can we disable GLIP for all Users? Have looked at "Roles" under "Users" in Admin account and do not see option to disable GLIP

Hi there, I have Super Admin privileges for our account and I am logged into the main account. However there is a user listed on our team in the desktop app that does not work here anymore. Her email is not attached to any extension, nor is it even on our list of users on the admin portal.I cannot edit/manage team members to remove her, I can't see any option to edit user profiles.It is extremely confusing for coworkers to see the option to contact someone who essentially does not exist (within our firm) anymore. Please help?

My account can only have a maximum ring group user count of 30, I talked to tech support and they said the max was 50 but wasn't able to provide to me, even if I upgraded my account. Is there a way to increase my ring group count?

Hello,I am encountering the following error when I login on the Desktop client. I can log into the web app without issue as long as I don't checkbox the remember me option in the web client login.

How do I add a text widget to our website?

I want callers to hear a prompt one time and no more in my IVR even if they don't press anything. It would seem that the default of 3 loops through the message is hard coded. Is it? Or is there some way to change that value of 3 to 1?I'm actually using the IVR as a holding cell for the call so I can do a database dip and then forward the call. I want to play the message please hold while we direct your call to the appropriate person... [a bit of music]" then if my database dip takes too long I want the call to move onto the next step in the flow.

With the newest RingCentral update, we are having all 3 parties on a simple conference call, hear a notice to announce yourself to join a call. This is not a meeting that we've scheduled, it's a simple connection of 3 people. We should have the option to remove this. We were given a workaround to hit *#8 to remove the announcement. We are making hundreds of conference calls per day. This is not a good solution. We need this addressed ASAP. Not sure how you can make a global update like this and not get input from your users who actually use this feature.

While setting SSO up on accounts, we realized that the "Remember Me" Toggle is not retaining the information. Despite our attempts to keep the information, it continued to malfunction for several Admins. We would like the "Remember Me" Toggle to function properly while using SSO log in.
