I have had my port out request for some of my numbers rejected twice with no follow up.  I have emailed the NTP helpdesk twice for support and received no assistance.I require urgent assistance as 6/10 of our numbers are scheduled to port next week and these 4 (including our main number) repeatedly fail for real reason.I will be contacting the CRTC through the CCTS as well if I dont get a very quick response.Neal JonesIOT ManagerCashion Legal

My team is constantly having issues with the agent leg not connecting and auto refusing calls.  Is there a way to correct this? Please help !  Its almost a daily issue. 

I want to change the hold music for the main phone line. I have figured out how to change it for each person’s extension, but this only applies after that person picks answers the phone. I want to change the music that plays before an extension is picked up. 

A group message was created by someone else who does not use Ring Central. When a ring central member went to reply in the group message stating only his name in the text message “John Smith”- an error message then popped up saying “unable to send message. Exceeded maximum recipients for a group message MMS.” But the other guy in the group message that was ring Central user could send a message just fine. Also when a photo was sent in the group message the other Ring Central guy who had no problems sending a message then could not receive the photo that was being sent into the group message. And the guy who couldn't send a message in the group message WAS able to see the photo.

We are having challenges on integrating with the Bogen Nyquist Paging System. Any help would be great.

We’ve been in touch with Loxo support, but since Loxo and RingCentral don’t have an official integration partnership, the troubleshooting has been somewhat circular without much progress.We’re trying to determine if this could be caused by conflicting or multiple integrations. For context: We use RingCentral for calling and voicemail transcription. We also run Quil.AI inside our CRM (Loxo), which may potentially interact with RC's call logs or data layers. When I add different information to the historical dashboard, such as the agent average handle time, I would like to edit it so it doesn’t the columns I don’t need (i.e. Agent Group, Agent ID, Agent Group ID).  I see there is a configuration button when I edit it, but it doesn’t give me the same ability to add or remove columns or pieces of data like the historical report do.  Is there a way to do this in the historical dashboard?

Hi all,I’ve been running into persistent issues with the RingCentral Android app and wondering if others are experiencing the same — or have found a fix.❗ The Errors I'm Seeing: Every time I open the Phone tab in the app, I get this popup: "Phone calls only" Sorry, we are having a temporary server issue. You can continue to make and receive phone calls, but cannot use other features. Occasionally, I also get: "Cannot recover" Sorry, we're having trouble recovering your app. ✅ What Works: I can make and receive calls Voicemail and fax features work fine 🛠️ What I've Tried: Reinstalled the app Cleared storage/cache Granted all app

I setup an API in ringcentral dev that I’m using in a Microsoft Azure Automation runbook to execute an offboarding for a user I specify.  The first step we must complete is toggling the switch off for the MS Teams connection on the user I’ve specified in my automation.  How would I set this up?   I’m using powershell 7.2 for my API call. I’ve got my powershell script executing properly and disabling the user account, but it will not allow me to disconnect MS Teams connection which is what I need done first.  

I'm using Zapier to automate a couple of small things inside RingCentral - the output of the automation is that Zapier uses the native RingCentral integration it has to post a message to the channel.It all works well - one hangs up I have though is that I don't seem to be able to delete messages that the integration posts despite being the team admin.Can I ask if I'm supposed to be able to delete them, or if this is a limitation of the way they interact with Apps inside the service?

New User, New account, Not yet set up.  What new # should I assign my cell phone I just bought?  Do I use “my calls #,” “Company calls #,” or another number I choose?

I hope I can explain this in a way that makes sense:We have a user who manages and makes calls for multiple offices. Is there a way to grant this 1 user access to several other phone numbers/accounts so that if someone in Office A is out, their calls automatically ring thru to our User and they can manage them? And if 5 people are out in 5 different offices, can their calls all can also be answered by our User?We can’t create call queues for all of this and we know we can add users to accounts, but I am not sure how the call routing is handled in that situation.These may be in cases where it’s only for an hour or multiple days, so to go in and set up forwarding each time, and to do this for multiple people would be too much to manage for one person (me).

 Is there any known issues worldwide transferring calls using RCX today on 8/1/2025? 

We use Yealink T43U phones in our environment. When they provision through RingCentral the upper three buttons display the users name, and I’d like them to display the user's extension number. RingCentral can apply a custom config to the phones through professional services, but I’d need to do this everytime I added a new phone. Is there another way to accomplish this ?  Without changing the users name to ext in profile.

I can never seem to find where my conference call number is hidden. I’d like to send it to clients so we can have a conference phone call, but I have been looking on this site for 20 minutes and on my phone app and I still can’t find it. Where do you all put this? I can tell you it’s not in a user friendly location. It’s not intuitive. I’ve run out of search words looking for it. 

Hi, I'm doing a nodejs app, that creates a subscription. Once the subscription is set, I make a call and I start receiving multiple calls with code: "Setup". ¿Is this correct? Do you know what these code status means (Setup code is that the client is calling?)Thanks

I’ve been trying out the RingCentral Supervision Demo, and I’m not quite able to get it to work. When the app gets to submitting the supervision request and calling /restapi/v1.0/account/~/telephony/sessions/${inputParams.telSessionId}/parties/${inputParams.partyId}/supervise, it’s not able to work due to a 403 Forbidden error.The supervisor device is a softphone that is an “Existing Phone” device set up manually using SIP. Its status is always offline on the admin panel, no matter whether I’m running the app or not. Is there a way to turn the softphone on?  

We are about to switch computers where our phones are connected. Our goal is to transfer the information to a different computer so our landline will work again (every time we shut off our desktop the landline shuts off and we have no dial tone). The calls are being forwarded to another cellphone so we can still accept calls but we can no longer call out on our landline (231-767-1181). Please advise us how to transfer to another computer so our landline turns back on. We have already downloaded the software onto another computer and logged into the portal on the software, but it did not help the issue. As soon as we shut down the old desktop the landline went down again.
