I have already implemented 3 legged authorization using c# in a startup.cs class which is working fine. Now I want I can send a login request when any user hits the APP controller then the request needs to be generated and the access token will return in the same controller after this I can show a view to the user where he can type Number and SMS then click on the send button.So if anyone has a solution kindly help me or guide me on how I can do this.Thanks

We have our CRM which is developed in asp.net core. Now we want to integrate RingCentral with our CRM so all users of RingCentral can send or receive SMS, MMS, and Fax from CRM.So in the start, I create an app in the console which only allowed to send SMS from the main company number, not from all user's numbers.After this, I create a 3 legged authorization app so every user can easily get tokens.That's a new App that I create so every user can send SMS and other operations. So I face an error when I log in from the primary contact email then the token is generated otherwise error show Sorry, we don't recognize your email address.Even this email is registered for one user.If I open user detail then invozeal@gmail is shown under the email section.If I try to log in from the contact person's phone number then shows the password is not correct even I update the password but can't log in.So how my all user list can be login and send SMS from their phone number??

I'm trying to integrate RingCentral API in C# for sending SMS or MMS. So I read documentation according to the documentation I create an APP in the console. APP security type is password base. I send SMS by using username, extension, and password. SMS send successfully. Now I create other users from the admin panel of RingCentral then every user has their phone number and extension so if any user login from my C# web app and tries to send SMS from his number and extension then an error is shown."error_description" : "Invalid resource owner credentials"I found a solution that says bootstrap your APP set a static password for all extensions.So how bootstrap APP?

Hi there,Will all SMS that flows through an account on different numbers be available in the Super Admin's extension?For example, if an account has phone numbers A B and C, and if I use the Super Admin credentials to access the /restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/message-store endpoint, will I be able to read all SMS that goes through all 3 phone numbers, or do I have to use credentials for the extensions tied to those 3 numbers?2nd question - Is it possible for an SMS to live in multiple extensions' message-store? For example, if the SMS number has a call queue with multiple agents in that call queue.

Hello, I am currently using to call log api to get detailed call log data. My business is interested in the ring time. There is a duration fields which is the number of seconds the call lasted but is there any data on how long the phone was ringing for?

I'm using C# with RingCentral's SDK, I'm trying to get a list of all DeviceID's and MAC's, the only way I can see is by making a bunch of calls after pulling an extension list?My end goal is to locate the users physical desk phone's deviceID using the MAC or IP address.Is there an easier way to do this than making a ridiculous amount of calls after pulling an extension list?Thank you

We have a basic 3 legged OAuth web app that allows us to edit extensions, but we keep running into invalid refresh token & token not found errors, which have no explanation or documentation tied to them. I read from some other post that the SDK manages refreshing the tokens automatically, but I haven't seen any official documentation stating so. If the SDK doesn't automatically refresh, what is the best way to refresh them?

My webhook is no longer receiving anything from RingCentral, it's been working for 1.5 years...Things I've tried:- Creating a new webhook- Verifying the webhook exists using "Get Subscriptions" (https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Subscriptions/listSubscriptions)- Verified the server address is accurate when creating the webhook- Verified I can talk to my webhook server over the internet and that it see's me doing so- Updated all libraries that are being used in my scriptsAny ideas? Seems like it stopped working this weekend, but it might have been longer than that, I just noticed this morning.I'm using Python, NGROK, WSGI and Flask. Like I said though, this has been working so not sure if it's related to a bigger issue.

hello, i'm working with Observe.ai, they are helping us analyze recorded calls. we're required to provide them with call recordings and metadata related to each call. 1 of their requirements is that we have to provide a unique call ID for each recorded call. is there a way to do this?i do see that i'm able to download all recorded calls for a date range and also view the call log. However, the call log does not indicate which record corresponds to the mp3 file of the recorded call. please help

I have just read an article in the BBC this morning mentioning that all VoIP calls that originate from outside the UK will now be blocked.Seeing as RingCentral makes use of VoIP technology I wanted to know if this will impact RingCentral customers that are based in the UK. Specifically, I'd like to know:Is something being done by RingCentral to make sure that all calls we make will continue to work as they currently do?Are there any changes that our company needs to do to ensure that we can still make calls going forward when this new update occurs?What will happen to a call if it gets redirected to a RingCentral server based outside of the UK?

(I know there is a parameter for detailed, please read) Is there another call to make for detailed instead of simple? In Python I would just add '"view" : "Detailed"' in my params and the output would let me parse through all of the detailed output. Trying to make a call from .net code programaticly but not sure where to start from.Is there any sample code available to start with ?

My account manager and text support says there is no way to fix it. Every time I text the word "marijuana" the text is blocked. Occasionally, my entire text messaging system is locked down. Over the past 4 months or so, I've probably spent 8 hours on the phone with customer service and technical support trying to fix this issue.Despite assertions to the contrary, I have not broken the acceptable use policy by texting about marijuana.They have also informed me that I cannot get a refund even though the product I purchased (the ability to fax, call AND text clients) was never delivered.Is anyone going to lift this ban on my texting or should I start looking elsewhere for phone service?

I am struggling to meet graduation requirements while trying to get an app for ringcentral embeddedAPP Client ID: op5v-1TQQHi0CYQ2IK2Y0AI followed the https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-embeddable/blob/master/docs/config-client-id-and-secret.md#graduation-for-your-ringcentral-app steps but they seem out of date. As it took quite a bit of poking to get some additional items like recordings.I will note that the graduations requirements page is taking 3-5 hours to update that makes this workflow very very challenging.

When a user is added manually via the web gui, the 'Conference' tab is shown on the User page under 'Phones & Numbers':When a user is added via the API with 'Create Extension' or 'Update Extension', the 'Conference' tab is not there:I've also tried calling the 'Update User Conferencing Settings' API and it returns a successful 200, but the 'Conference' tab still does not show up in the gui. Is there someway to make that tab appear in the gui when importing users via the API?Thank you!
