We currently have 2 office locations that have 2 separate accounts and I need to merge them into one, how can I do that?

We archive our SMS data (texts and attachments) routinely with the message store exports API. However, ever since 6/13 the jobs were taking hours on end to complete or failing. Now I could start a job and it would probably never complete. I did open ticket 28218998 with support and the response is basically, “Yeah it is broken. No timeline on a fix.” I asked if they could even give a rough timeline like a month, two months, or longer and nothing. It kinda feels like this API is going to be deprecated.Is anyone else also running into this with this API? Could it possibly be something on my side?Yes, I know you could use the listExtensions API to then use the listMessages API and the readMessageContent API, but it is a PIA to go down that route when message store exports worked so well.

I set the call logging preferences by turning off Call Type “Missed calls with or without voicemail” however, the incoming missed calls are still being logged in CRM activity.   

Hello,I am trying to construct the URL to fetch media objects from the conversations through API calls. The documentation is not very clear on how to do this. I am able to only pull gif media objects through the get request but can’t be able to pull any other types of media objects  using the same method that I have been able to successfully pull media objects. Can I kindly get some assistance on how to create the proper URLs to pull pdfs, CSVs  and other type of media objects as I have not found any examples of how to create urls.Attached are some screenshots of the responses of gifs and other media types

Hello,I'm working with the RingCentral telephony session webhook (/restapi/v1.0/account/~/telephony/sessions) to monitor inbound call flows.Here’s the scenario: Caller A  dials our main company number B . Number B is connected to an IVR menu that routes the call to number C. In the webhook payload, I only see the final leg showing a call from A to C, but the intermediate number B (the company/IVR forward number) is not included in the payload. Is there any setting or alternative API/webhook that allows me to see all legs, including the intermediate number (like IVR or main number) used in the transfer or routing? Also tried checking logs with ?view=Detailed parameter, still did not see it.I’ve read that: Webhook data omits parties not belonging to the account/extension. Transferred or forwarded sessions may be separate. If that's the case, how can I correlate the full call flow from A → B → C using available APIs?Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you!

Hello. On Monday it became unable to use the Salesforce Click to Dial plugin/extension. This is happening in both Edge and Chrome. In Edge, phone number not underlined (like a link to call) but when hovering, we see Click to Dial is disabled. In Chrome, phone numbers look as they should, but same thing when hovering, Click to Dial Disabled.The version of the CTI adapter we have installed, listed in the RC app in SF window, is v 6.23.0 (13). While I don't think it matters here, we are using v22.2.34.4527 of the RC client in Windows.It seems the default settings we use in the RC app in SF (Call to RC App and Auto Log SMS) reverted to being uncheck (not True) on Monday as well. Hard to ignore the timing.We updated the Salesforce App from SF yesterday, no impact of fixing the problem.Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Our company is currently using Acuity to allow clients to schedule time with each partner. We would love to eliminate that and just use Microsoft Bookings. The only problem I am having, is I can’t figure out a way to get Microsoft Bookings to utilize Ring Central video links instead of Teams. I have set it up on the backend of RingCentral so that it’s connected with my Microsoft account and Teams account but it still won’t let me change that. Has anyone done this previously and could tell me how you did it? Thank you!

I am trying to develop a custom integration for my own CRM. I have been following the documentation and cannot figure out how to actually connect, no options appear. In troubleshooting it says the following:I don't see a "Connect" button to login to my CRMIn order to determine which CRM to connect to, you need to launch the extension while visiting and logged into your CRM application. App Connect will detect from the domain you are visiting to determine which CRM to prompt you to connect to. If you launch App Connect from any other domain, you will not see an Authorize or Connect button.I have my urlIdentifier set correctly,  clearly my manifest is set correctly as well as I get a prompt to connect to my CRM. I believe the issue stems from the extension itself not having permissions to access any other site asides from the ones it asks for when installing. Does RingCentral provide service account concept to integrate RingCentral with external platforms like Salesforce? We are trying to build an integration to retrieve Call Transcript using RingSense API. Also, is it required for all users using RingCentral to have the RingSense license too? Or having only 1 license be sufficient to access transcripts for all call logs across all company users? Please let me know. Thanks

I’m relatively new to the RC community and I wanted to share my use case before implementing and get your feedback. BackgroundOur system runs on the Salesforce platform (Custom Objects and Account/Contact only) so we leveraged the “RingCentral for Salesforce app” which works pretty well. The different users are given a RC phone number and an extension to connect the softphone with RC and everything is fine: they can handle inbound and outbound calls, records are properly updated etc. Also, worth to mention that the users (around 100) are grouped in 20 different teams, and a user can belong to more than one team.
