Employee Turnover

We are new to RingCentral and was looking for some best practice guidance. On the sales side of our organization there is quite a bit of employee turnover. There are times when a licensed extension could be unused for weeks. Since the employees' DID's are provided to customers, when an employee leaves we do not want the calls to go unattended. I have implemented some work arounds but they seem a bit time consuming. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you

Ring Central Engage Voice Customers from Connect First

We were Connect First customers who came over to Ring Central Engage Voice when they acquired Connect First. We haven't been able to find out who our Account Manager is. We've been told a few different people by Support but have not been able to reach any of them. I've tried calling Support, open a case, calling Sales, leaving a message on Twitter, emailing folks who we were told was our Account Rep and we haven't been able to reach anyone. We just need to talk to our Account Owner about our account and options, etc. -- Figure i'd try this!

Call Queues - Rotating

I have a call queue set on rotating but the calls come in based on how long someone has been idle. So if i have a guy who makes a lot of outbound calls he wont get many of these calls because he wont be idle for long. however if I have a lazy person who isn't making many outbound calls and is only working the inbound calls then he will be idle for longer every time and in turn get the bulk of the inbound calls. Id like this to just rotate through people and if someone is one a call it will just skip him and go to the next guy. for example if someone is ext. 101 he gets the first call then ext. 102 gets the next and if ext. 103 is on the call it will just go to the person at 104 and etc.. is this possible ?

Repeated Spam Calls from Same Number Spoofing Internal Names

We our concerned that our phone system may have been compromised as we are getting repeated calls from 1-888-391-2911 and the ID of various names of people in our own organization. The calls are being received by at least two people internally. We have blocked the number on the admin console and reported the number to the CRTC (same as FCC in the US). Has anyone else had this happen and if so, were there any steps that were taken to rectify the possible compromise?

Can't synch google drive

When I try to sync my google drive account in order to attach a file, I receive the following error after selecting my google account in the popup... "This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access." Is there another way to connect to my google drive so I can share google doc and sheet files?

Lunch time

Setup at busy medical office. Whole office closes for lunch M-F 12pm - 1pm. Trying to find a way to set phones to message only during lunch. Currently setup with multi-level IVR for after hours, during business hours phones ring through to a call queue. Example is M-F 8am - 12pm call queue M-F 12pm-1pm IVR menu M-F 1pm - 5pm call queue M-F 5pm after hours IVR menu

How do you test the system for "after hours" or "closed" times during the day?

Hello We are trying to test the after hours (closed) flow of our phone setup but when we change the Company hours, Queues hours and even the Users hours, to a time earlier than the current time, the phone system is still in day time (open) mode. So how is one supposed to accomplished this? It's obvious, the Company hours do not take the highest precedent. This is extremely frustrating and time consuming and we cannot find documentation on this either.

$400 Unlimited line suddenly added

I've been unable to create a ticket or even login to the RingCentral site. They are trying to charge me $400 for an unlimited line without me upgrading. I've been on their $120 plan for almost 10 years. Does anone know a number to get a human over there?

We are hosting a RingCentral meeting and users with Chromebooks are not able to join or are being kicked off. Is there a solution for them to be able to join? The meeting uses breakout groups so we would like them to join using the app.

Please tell me how to get my account set up as tax exempt once and for all. I have to go through this every year... we are tax exempt 501c3 organization. You have several copies of our determination letter... I grew weary of it for a few years and just gave up, but I'm back.

How to play a message when a key is is pressed from IVR before transferring the call.

Hello. We have an IVR setup with 5 menu selections. When option 3 is selected (for example) we want to play massage a recorded message for those callers and then transfer the call where it needs to go, in our case a call queue. Is this possible to do and if so, is possible to do without incurring an additional monthly fee? Thanks

HELP - Files Do Not Download, they stay in perpetual pause.

When a file is shared...I click on it...it begins downloading then immediately says "paused." When clicking resume, it immediately goes back to pause. Is there something in my setting that is off? My co-workers do not have this issue and we all use Macs.
