I completed all Ring CX Training however it doesn’t show as completed like the others.  Any reason why not?  Please advise

We only use RingCentral for faxes. The coversheet shows the Ringcentral number as a phone number making it unusable for us. We need to customize the phone & fax number shown. This forces us to leave the Email subject line blank - a problem because this is how everybody was labeling their faxes for searching (when we used eFax).

As far as I can tell the new AI Assistant note taking and transcription features are only available if the call is taken on the desktop app or phone app. What about calls that are made or received using a physical desk phone? 

We have no need to SMS customers, we need to use RC SMS capabilities to text EMPLOYEES who are out in the field.  Is there any way around the overreaching TCR registration?  Or A simplified one for non marketing use cases?

I’ve tried to cancel my service via phone (no one picks up / keeps me on hold forever), web chat (no response / agent drops off mid-convo), and direct email to my RC rep (just went back through my email and found the last person I dealt with) – no success. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make this happen other than going through my bank to dispute my last charge and block all future charges, which I really shouldn’t have to do.Does anyone have any advice on getting RC to reply? I’m on an email thread with my supposed Account Rep who hasn’t responded to a single one of my follow-ups.This service from this company is truly appalling. Help! 

For 4 months the servicedesk has been telling me i will be send a change order but yet to date i have not received anythingI have reached out 10+ times to the support deskI have emailed 6 times requesting an update but still no answer can you help me

Hi, Is there a way to easily see the data for which phone numbers were dialed/called for a time period? We have several numbers we use for different marketing. Don’t see anywhere that we can break down how many calls were dialed to each. (these are extra $5 local numbers)Thanks

My Shokz headset is not able to answer my Ring calls. I can use the Shokz speaker and microphone when I answer on the computer with my mouse, but not able to use the headset controls to answer.

I preformed the correct steps to complete a conference call, and it did not work.  The first person got disconnected when calling the 2nd person.  This process has happened on other teammates desk phones.  I cannot complete any conference calls from any desk phone which is a new event.  The phones always let us do conference but in the last couple of weeks we cannot complete.  These are the steps I am taking. Start a Call: Begin by calling the first person you wish to include in the conference. Initiate Conference: Once the first person has answered and you are on an active call, look for the "More" softkey on your phone's screen. Press it, and then select the "Confrnc" or "Conference" softkey. This will put the current call on hold. Dial the Second Person: Dial the phone number or extension of the second person you want to add to the call.

I have my contacts from Outlook linked to RingCentral.  I’m having two issues with notes.First, Notes field seems to be limited to 100 characters in RingCentralSecond, Notes field removes all new-line characters which makes the notes hard to read.Is there a way to work around these limitations?

An incoming call to a RingCentral phone number should be routed to our Next.js application (running server-side with WebSocket support), where the real-time audio media stream should be received. Our application then processes the audio, which should be sent back into the same RingCentral call.In effect, the call audio should flow bi-directionally through our application, acting as a real-time media processor.How can we achieve this requirement through API?

We have two phones in our office. I would like them to both ring at the same time so that either phone can answer the call

We will be using our own non-provisioned phones, the Poly Rove40’s.  Our main number will be ported over to Ring Central on Tuesday (1/27) at 10 am CST.  This is in the middle of our busy time.  Can I provision the phones ahead of time (a day or two ahead of time) to where I can just unplug our old phones and plug in our new phones once we get confirmation of a successful port, and not miss any calls?

I have the sms registration complete and approved.  How do I send a message using the templates?

When one person in our office answers a call, their notes automatically begin taking notes as intended. When they either transfer that call to another person in the office or place the call on hold and another person picks it up, the second person to accept that call is unable to start taking notes. Is there any way to resolve this issue? 

I want 1 person from the IT team to be able to manage my RingCentral line without having to have a phone line, he does not need any calls, video or anything else. Only requirement is SuperAdmin to be able to configure users with lines, order phone and lines, etc. He manages all of this for me as I am busy and I don’t understand technology.

for the last 36 hours I have been unable to send text messages to my customers.  My case has been escalated twice.  I finally asked for a supervisor and I was told that this is an issue with the "carrier"  Has anyone else had this issue?  How many tiers are there when it comes to customer service?    I keep getting this message after every attempt to send a text:  Sorry, we're having trouble sending your message. Please try again.

Hello RingCentral Community,I’m hoping someone here can help us escalate an ongoing issue with our TCR registration, as we are at our wits’ end.We have been trying to complete our TCR registration for over a year. During that time, we have submitted the registration form multiple times and have been charged for every resubmission. Each time our application was denied, we contacted RingCentral for support—by phone, chat, and email—easily 20+ interactions at this point.In every instance, we were connected with a TCR representative who: Walked us through the application step by step Told us exactly what to enter and how to word it Assured us the submission should be approved Despite following those instructions exactly, every single submission has still been denied.At this point, the impact on our business is severe. We have a phone and extension that is a main incoming call line.  The prior user is no longer with us, and a new staff is sitting at that phone.  How do I transfer the extension and phone to the new staff without disrupting incoming call flow?

I just jumped into the RC admin portal to check something and was presented with a pop-up alert stating “One or more devices on your account pose a security risk” and goes on about something being end-of-life and posing a security risk. OK, that seems possible. Then, the message says “To determine if your device is affected...”So, do I have such a device, or don’t I? You just told me I did, now you want me to figure it out. The provided link uselessly drops me at the support home page and in no way helps me determine if I have EoL devices, which the pop-up says I have/might have. So many questions.
