I need to disable all INCOMING caller ID information on 1 specific phone line. The line is for anonymous tips. I have tried calling the Call-Out API with the body parameters, but I keep getting the same error every time.I have attached my code snippet and the response for reference. I also tried using the deviceId (the relevant line is commented in the code), but the issue persists.This is my code This is response Also checked in the documentation for this API but it is saying try with deviceId and tried with the deviceId then it will gives error for deviceId parameter value is inval.My goal is to call the API using the from and to numbers. Explanation: CR6002 - Privacy policy does not state that no mobile opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliate; Additional Comments: ;PP needs update I looked up error CR6002 and followed the recommendations and added the appropriate statement to the Privacy Policy.Yet, I continue to receive this error message. Who do I escalate my TCR registration (re)submission to?   The chatBot does not seem to be armed with any useful information.   We have resubmitted for maybe 4th time.   Is it better to delete and start over with new submission, or is our latest submission going to be reviewed?  Is there an SLA to review?  Prior rejections came wiethin 2 days.  This round has been crickets for about 8 business days.I’m sure I am not the first to talk about the importance of text for business.   Sure, requirements are heightened to root out spam, and enforce more privacy policies, but we could all use some more guidance on how to pass this test.   I take mobile numbers from a web form.   That seem to be my problem, where I can’t meet the requirements, and there is no guidance for what passes as sufficient notice to the www submitter.   

We have a user who has their office computer paired with a desk phone. When that user goes home do they need to unpair the deskphone before they are able to use the software at a home work station or is the install/pairing unique to each computer? I preformed the correct steps to complete a conference call, and it did not work.  The first person got disconnected when calling the 2nd person.  This process has happened on other teammates desk phones.  I cannot complete any conference calls from any desk phone which is a new event.  The phones always let us do conference but in the last couple of weeks we cannot complete.  These are the steps I am taking. Start a Call: Begin by calling the first person you wish to include in the conference. Initiate Conference: Once the first person has answered and you are on an active call, look for the "More" softkey on your phone's screen. Press it, and then select the "Confrnc" or "Conference" softkey. This will put the current call on hold. Dial the Second Person: Dial the phone number or extension of the second person you want to add to the call. Merge the Calls: After the second person answers, press the "Confrnc", "Conference", or "Join" softkey again. All three parties will now be connect

We have several offices that we have a phone number we ported over with. I would like all the phones in the same office to have that main number as a ring out number. Right now it won’t let me pick a number that has already been assigned to a phone.

We currently operate a CRM platform built on Twilio Programmable Voice, and we’re exploring an iteration where users with RingCentral accounts could log in with their RC credentials and operate through WebRTC. Using RC App Connect isn’t an option for us, as we need to keep our existing CRM functionality intact.Our current dev team is having difficulty sourcing someone with deep knowledge of RingCentral APIs/WebRTC and how best to implement this.Does anyone here know of a developer or team with this expertise who might be available to assist or contract with us on this integration?Thank you in advance for any direction or referrals!

I am trying to automate onboarding new employees to my company via the API and all users in a certain department require a RingEX License, but I can’t find any documentation on how to create a user with this license or assign it to them after the account is created. Is it too much to ask to get the proper release notes for the current version of the RingCentral App?   Multiple versions since the beginning of July have been released and yet all the links and info point to version 25.2.35 which had a release date of July 4th.I find it very unprofessional for a large software company to release versions of software and not have the proper documentation, release notes, bug fixes etc. for the corresponding software version.It would also be quite helpful and logical to actually know WHY we need to upgrade our software from one version to the next.

Individuals trying to text me are receiving an error message “sorry this service is not available.”While other individuals are able to text me just fine.  This is all happening on the same day/hour.   Any advice? 

I am trying to add a user to the SMS campaign (It has been Approved).  Sometimes it will add them, and it says “Setup in Progress,” but as soon as I do anything they drop out of the list and my user count goes from 33 to 32.  Most of the time, however, when I click Add, nothing happens at all.  I am not sure if the UI isn’t working correctly and my user is being added, but I am not being patient enough, or if there is a problem and the action just keeps getting terminated.  It shows in the log that I am adding someone, but they are not in the list, and definitely unable to send/receive text messages.  Soooo, any tips, or further insight anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve tried to cancel my service via phone (no one picks up / keeps me on hold forever), web chat (no response / agent drops off mid-convo), and direct email to my RC rep (just went back through my email and found the last person I dealt with) – no success. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make this happen other than going through my bank to dispute my last charge and block all future charges, which I really shouldn’t have to do.Does anyone have any advice on getting RC to reply? I am new to RingCentral and was hoping to get some help with this situation:I created a Subscription to receive webhook payloads for Ringsense call data.This is what my Subscription filter looks like: "/ai/ringsense/v1/public/accounts/~/domains/pbx/insights"I am successfully receiving webhook payloads, but what I'm struggling with is that sometimes I get one payload and other times I get two, for the same call.I talked with Phong about this, and he told me that you only get a second payload when calls are recorded. My company has turned on recording for ALL calls, so because of that I expect two payloads for EVERY one of our calls. But this is not what I'm seeing.Many of my webhooks never get that second payload. And I've verified in our admin reports that the recordings DO exist for these calls.I also ran into another situation where I DID get a second payload, but neither the first OR second had a Summary field! Even though this call had a long recording and had LOTS of transc

When I answer the phone, it now has a recording that prompts me to press 1 to answer. How do I disable this? 

Hello my firm has been having issues lately where if we park a call then pick up that parked call, it does not always record the notes/transcript and it will come up with a message saying unable to take notes. The weird thing is that it only happens sometimes so we are not sure how to fix it or if it is a human error on our side. If anyone knows anything about this or knows of any fixes so that we are always taking notes, that would be very helpful. Thank you!

Does RC offer direct dial video FaceTime-like calls?  Skype used to offer it, Teams does not.    I am trying to set up a system to establish video calls with our remote offices.  Any suggestions?

I only want a number that plays a custom message and goes straight to voicemail. I see various way to record this message which I have and I have set what looks like the default behavior to go to voicemail. But  when I call the number it is the “Thank you for calling we are currenlty closed for the dial by...”Any ideas
