Have stumbled across one of our users with a unique problem. User has access to view an inbox where voicemails are left in Ring CX.This inbox displays the VM as a separate link the user will then click on to actually hear the VM. When the user clicks this link a new browser tab is opened and they are prompted to log in again to Ring CX. This turns into a loop where every time the user goes to access the VM they are just asked to log in again. Looking for suggestions on how we can solve this, expected behaviour is that it opens the new tab and just starts playing the VM, it does this for me and our others users.

We can send faxes out but we cannot receive faxes. We have been on Ring Central for one week,

My direct phone number and direct fax number are the same. Is there a setting to make incoming faxes go to someone else when I'm on vacation?

When figuring the total # of inbound calls to call queues and # answered, is the Business Analytics Queues dashboard or Performance Reports / Queues the most accurate?  These 2 reports show different #'s - which is the most accurate / most true?  And why do these #'s vary between the 2?

I’m hoping someone else has run into this because RingCentral support has been completely useless.We’ve been using RingCentral with Google Workspace for over a year. Our contacts sync between RingCentral and Google Contacts without any issues. Then suddenly, starting this week, everything broke.The issueAny time we try to: Create a new contact in RingCentral Edit an existing Google-synced contact We get this error:“Sorry, something went wrong on our end and we weren't able to save the contact. I work for corporate with 3 companies, they’re looking for a way to divide up the invoicing per company so that the invoicing is paid per company and not to one central corporate bank account. Is there any way to do this in RingCentral? Or does anyone have a better idea I could use to implement what is being asked? Much appreciated for help provided!

We have been experiencing SMS delays for the past 2 months now. Usually starting around 10AM CST our driver's messages start getting delayed by 15 mins up to over an hour. Some messages that were sent later are received 1st creating very confusing communications.  Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Tech support hasn't been much help as they themselves haven’t figured out what is causing the delays. The majority of the delays have come from contractors who utilize T-mobile, AT&T and at least one on the Verizon network.

I had a question. Is there a sort order for the messages listed from the message store? Will it automatically show the latest first? I was looking at the docs (https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Message-Store/listMessages), but couldn’t find any specific information about it. Thank you.

Please tell me I’m not alone here.My husband and I manage multiple RingCentral accounts for different clients/teams, and the workflow is honestly exhausting, constant logging in and out, multiple browsers open, and way too many “wait, which account am I in?” moments.It feels way more manual than it should be in 2026.Are people really switching accounts like this all day, or is there a better workflow/tool I’m missing?

We have been troubleshooting this for two years - is anybody else having this issue?We use Ring Central desktop app (doesn’t matter if you use the browser version of Ring though), and use Plantronics Voyager 5200 and 4210 headsets.The first outgoing call made of the day for users, IF they have not received a call yet, always starts with about 5-10 seconds of a full dropped network connection.You can literally see the dial pad taking about 5-10 seconds showing “No network” on the connection bars, and then it clears up and for the rest of the day there are no further issues.This has been frustrating to say the least, and we have apparently uncovered that this is a Microsoft issue in how it is handling Ring Central calls. At least, that is what Ring Central support has finally determined. Is anybody else having this problem?? We are using .NET code to post audio files to the RC system for callers to automatically here when they dial a specific number. When attempting to pull my monthly reports from performance reports, the outbound calls and missed calls are not populating.  They are both showing zero.  I have been working with RC tech support for 3 days and they stated that this is a “known issue” that ALL users are having.  They were just alerted about it today.  Is anyone else having this issue?  He didn’t mention this until I conferenced him in with my IT team and then he stated the memo just was sent out to them today.  

Why is my Ring Central phone continually syncing daily during my peak business hours? This is very incontinent and frustrating. I can’t make calls out 

We have 15 message only extensions setup as efaxes and am trying to generate a report that lists each one of the efax extensions and gives a total for each for a specified date range. I've tried utilizing the call log but it only allows me to select one extension at a time which is quite time consuming since this will be run on a weekly basis. I've also looked under the analytics reports but am not seeing any criteria for message only extensions. Am I missing something? Is there a better way of doing this?

In Ring central EX you can do voice mail drops which are great. We are now making our calls through HubSpot using the Ring Central EX connector. We don’t see a way to use a voice mail drop doing it this way.   Are we overlooking something? Or is this a feature that could be requested?

We are planning to perform a bulk import of users into RingCentral and would like clarification on the recommended approach.Currently, there are already 80+ unassigned extensions available in the account. During the bulk import process, should we: Utilize these existing unassigned extensions and map users to them, or Create users directly through the “Users with Extensions” import method, which would generate new extensions?​   ​ Additionally, each user will need to be assigned to a physical device as part of this setup. Please advise if one of the above approaches is better suited when users must be associated with physical desk phones during or after the import process.Please let us know which approach is best practice and if

We have 3 extensions.  Only 1 of the 3 receives faxes, although all 3 can send faxes.

I use chrome and gmail on a mac. Voicemails are forwarded to my gmail as attachments. All of a sudden all incoming audio mp3 attachments (voicemails) will not open - error message - there was a problem playing this audio file. Nothing changed on my end. Cannot seem to get it working - frustrated.,I use chome and gmail - all of a sudden when I click on voicemail attachment it says there is a problem playing the audio file and cannot listen to the attachment voicemail - help!!

I had some questions about blacklisted webhooks. I tried it on my end, but just wanted to confirm some things.Is there a way to get notified through email or other means that the webhook is blacklisted? It doesn’t seem like there is a way to know aside from making an API call to get the subscription. What happens to the events after the blacklisted webhook becomes active again? Will RingCentral retry sending the events?Thank you.

I have configured an Intune MAM policy and included RingCentral for Intune. I have an app protection policy including RC and all MS apps and have the app added to Intune (RingCentral for Intune > Google Play Store, not Managed Play Store). I’ve configured send org data to other apps is policy managed apps only and telecommunication data out to any dialer app.This is working for me on iPhone, SSO (Azure) authenticates against the Microsoft Authenticator app as broker and the sign in is completed back to RC successfully. On Android however, SSO launches from RC app to Edge Browser (in the MAM policy and Edge is signed in/syncing), some URL’s load it seems as SSO is approved, but it is not sent back to RC app, the login just sits on Edge showing a blank screen with URL https://login.ringcentral.com/api/sso/login? Thanks,

How can you test an API without running against a live environment ?  The API we are creating is to remove users from the RC company account when they have left the business. even though we have a dummy user in the system, there is always a small risk of something going wrong  and lots of accounts being removed by mistake 

We have turned on call screening for calls without caller ID because we’ve been getting slammed with malicious anonymous calls.  When testing the call screening using we’ve found that RingCentral will prompt the caller for a name, but that name doesn’t seem to be being played back to the person answering the call.  It doesn’t seem to show up anywhere.  Does someone know what the reason for this would be and what to do to get these screened call names to play?

We have a call queue set to forward to an external number afterhours.  We also have call recording activated in which there is the “this call is being recorded” notification on all inbound calls.  We have been running into an issue when the RingCentral notification is being played at the same time the afterhours service is picking up the call and making their introduction.  Is there a way to control this so that the RingCentral notification is completed before the call is transferred to the afterhours service? Thank you
