Not sure if it’s just us, but leaving voicemails has become one of the most repetitive parts of the day.When you’re making a lot of calls, it feels like it really breaks your rhythm having to stop and repeat the same message over and over.Curious how others are handling this inside RingCentral.Are you:Just leaving them manually every time? Using a script and powering through it? Or is there a better way you’ve found to speed that part up?Feels like there should be a more efficient way to handle it without interrupting call flow.

Hi all,We have this call Queue and during after hours we want to play a message but not offer the caller to leave a voicemail. But as you can see from the screenshot I don’t get any option to alter what the announcement is.But If I use a custom rule I can edit and go and upload a custom message.  Do I simply have to use a custom rule or message only extension to configure this?

I am fairly new to this application, but there was a noticeable difference in the quality of features provided.  This “BETA” version of our app came unannounced, and now we are having difficulty sharing videos, finding them in searches by name, and scrolling through our transcripts!  It is awful!  Its been around a week or two dealing with this and we are wasting lots of time and energy navigating around these obstacles!  Please explain or help! The URI rcmobile worked for the Ring Central Phone app but does not work for the RC App. Since the RC Phone app is being retired and replaced by the RC App, this rcmobile URI needs to be updated to work correctly with the RC App. This is a critical problem that needs to be addressed. This rcmobile URI allows for third-party apps to call out using Ring Central. Hi, My code is in C#. It is a texting app.  I am assuming that after sending a single SMS message,  I should be able to determine if that single call exceeded the rate limit.  My call to send a SMS message is as follows: var resp = await restClient.Restapi().Account().Extension().Sms().Post(requestBody);Once control returns from the await, how do I obtain the info on whether the rate limit was exceeded?  Is an exception thrown?  Is there a return structure?  Do I have to make another call to read the RateLmit results of above Sms.Post() ?A C# example to get the Rate Limit info of the above call would be very helpful.Thank you,Jim 

Hi Team, I hope you’re all doing well, would anyone know if there is a way to make the Name and Related to fields as mandatory options on the RingCentral Widget on SF? Reason being, we want to force agents to make sure we have agents input a contact name and a case number so that the call summary is added to the right case. Where as today, agents can choose to ignore these and the call summaries go missing.

HiMy app keep crashing every time i hit the hang up button on my ringcentral app on mac. Also it crashes whenever somebody calls me and i dont pickup - the app just crashes. (Like i press quit button on the app) Assuming the issues is with the little pop up window that pops up when someone calls you.Tried reinstalling, cleared cache and everything. Nothing. Still the same

User is stating when they receive a call with Disposition status and they said “I KEEP GETTING NEVADA CALLS COMING THROUGH THAT GIVE ME A "DISPOSITION" NOTICE THEN MAKES EVERYTHING FREEZE. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I GET ONE OF THESE CALLS AND I HAVE TO COMPLETELY LOG OUT OF EVERYTHING TO GET IT FIXED.”  What do I look at to resolve this issue?

When creating a customer scorecard, if I want to ask if an agent asked a question and have more than one acceptable phrase, can I put all phrases into one question or should I make multiple questions.Ex: Did agent ask caller if they have ever hired, retained, or worked with an attorney, law firm, or lawyer previously?

However, the moment a call is transferred to RingEX, the Caller ID reverts to "The Union Bank Company." Additionally, any external call made directly to a RingEX user shows the same bank name instead of the caller's number. Our goal is for the original external phone number to be visible on RingEX in all scenarios.If you have time, could you go and vote for this development? Thank you! We have deployed the Ringcentral for Salesforce integration (RingCentral App for Salesforce, version 4.8.3) to a number of our users, and have configured it to automatically log all calls. The problem is that it seems to ignore logging whenever a user calls a person who shares a phone number with any other contact (like when two people are from the same company and their phone numbers both say the company phone number). This is very troubling for us because we are trying to get our users to log everything, and one of the ways we sold this to the users is that phone calls get autologged - but they do not always do so.

Teams embedded RC app using the desktop phone pairing feature use to work properly, but after an update has broken. On one device say your office Windows PC you pair a desktop phone in the RC embedded Teams app, then on your laptop/Macbook on the road or at home you want to use computer audio for an RC call on this device....but no it's paired to your office desktop phone still. You must unpair your office phone on your laptop to use computer audio. But.... When you get back to the office you have to pair your desk phone again as it's still using computer audio from using your laptop. If gets worse if you have more devices...say Office, WFH, and laptop/Macbook you have to constantly pair and unpair between computer audio and desktop phones. Very frustrating!  Desktop phone pairing should be independent per device….just as it use to be and like other functionality  current is...for example the Ring out feature is independent per device.There was an idea on the community site added th

Our RingCentral app is not accurately displaying incoming or missed calls. This has been happening for a couple days now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset the app and logged out and back in several times. I've checked all the settings and nothing is out of the ordinary. Is anyone else seeing this type of behavior from the desktop app?

It seems as if just recently that when I now get a Ring Central call on my iPhone 8 that it calls out the numbers of the dialer (ring.. 9-7-6-4-5-2-8-8-0-2 and then repeats until I can pick it up.) It’s very irritating. Is there a way to change this?It is only when I get Ring Central calls on my iPhone that this happens, not when just a direct call to my iPhone. So I don’t believe it’s my iPhone settings.Please help. Before I pull out what little hair I have left.

Over the last week, people calling me can now leave 10 or 15 minute long voice messages if they want. For years, there was a 3 minute time limit and the message would get cut-off, which I prefer. How do I go back to only allowing a 3 minute max voice message?

I have a user in RingCentral that has a licensed number and is going on vacation for a week. During that time period another employee needs to make phone calls from that number what do I do to make that available to the user who only has an extension but not a license number?

I cannot login.  It just has the loading screen.
