Hope someone can help.We have followed the setup instructions for the ATA192, we can make outbound calls with no issues. We can receive 1 call, but cannot receive another call for around 10-15 minutes. The line goes straight to voicemail, the line status on the ATA GUI page is showing the line is not active. It just seems it is not sending the disconnect message on incoming calls telling RingCentral the incoming call is complete. We can make an outbound call and receive a call afterwards, which is the strange issue.I've also found these errors in the logs, I believe it has something to do with the BYE message:ATA192-MPP local1.err vsock: RTP_LIB: librtp_wait_for_rtcpbyemsg():548: librtp_wait_for_rtcpbyemsg Failed to recv RTCP BYE from CSS and time out happenedNot using CUCM or MPP sotfware.

An employee recently ran into an issue with sending a picture via the RingCentral mobile app to another employee’s personal cell and it failed.  After about 1 ½ hours on the phone the case was escalated.  In hearing back from support today it was advised that the reason the picture failed to send was due to our TCR Registration not including MMS.  Our team does send MMS on a regular basis without any issues and am hoping this failure isn’t just the beginning of more to come. When going through the TCR process not once did it mention anything about MMS?  It took me literally a year to get my latest campaigns to successfully register which was not a pleasant process at all and for my own sanity cannot go through the process again. Have any of you run into MMS failing and support telling you it was due to your TCR Registration not including MMS?

When a customer calls in and wants to track a shipment, I would like to be able to provided them with the info provided from my API by having them say the bill number they are calling about and it reads back the returned status

We have realized that out of all the predefined roles, only Super Admins have access to view live reports. I completely understand why only Super Admins would be able to EDIT the live reports dashboards, but why are they the only ones who can VIEW the live reports? Why shouldn’t Phone System Admins be able to view the live reports, and potentially Managers too? It makes no sense that we should have to give a user super admin privileges just to be able to VIEW the live reports. Our account executive hasn’t been able to provide any answer to this besides encouraging us to upgrade licenses to be able to create custom roles, which we are not going to do. Then he recommended asking the question here instead.

I cannot begin to articulate my frustrations with the TCR registration process as this has been going on for OVER A YEAR. Instead, I will try to summarize mine and everyone else’s frustrations below!!I have been rejected so many times it is not even funny, and there is an application fee of $22. No one explains that you can edit current brand info so if that gets rejected you automatically think you have to pay another $22 for a new application which I did several times before I realized (with no help from ring) how to edit this myself!The reasons you get rejected are extremely vague and do not give you specifics or examples on what to use instead. You have to call an 888 number based out of India and get people on the phone who BARELY speak english and have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they are doing. I have spent many hours of my time (which is valuable since I make the money) completing setups over the phone with these baseline level reps that walk you through and say it

Hi All,I’m looking for a better way to configure User Groups so that managers can view analytics for the employees who report directly to them. In some cases, multiple managers need access to the same set of users.Is there an easy way to achieve this, or do I need to create separate User Groups for each manager even though the users are identical? Ideally, I’d like to have a single User Group with multiple managers assigned.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Many thanks,Jacob

Having a different ring when a call comes directly to their phone, vs when it is comes through the mainline number that has a call que set up to go to multiple different people? (i.e. if someone were to call my direct line or my extension directly as opposed to calling the main business number that has a call que set for it to ring to four different people until someone answers it so that we would by the different type of ring?

Hi I have a couple of agents who primarily make outbound calls, each time they complete one they are put back into an Available state, regardless of the state they were in prior to making the call. Is it possible to create an agent state that will remain active while they make outbound calls?

When customers call any of my number a recorded greeting is played, that identifies our company and notifies the caller that calls are recorded, to keep us in compliance with federal law. I’m using the Custom Rules in my Call Handling Settings to Forward Calls to an External number.The number I forward to also has a recorded greeting. The problem I have is that once the call is transferred to that External number BOTH recorded greeting play over top of each other.How can I set it up so that my greeting is played again when the transfer occurs? Thank You!Brian RingEX User

We are new to RingCentral and can't figure out how to solve this. We are using the queue calls aspect so anyone can answer any call coming in to our main line from their desk phone throughout the building. The problem is that it general calls also ring the mobile app when employees are on the road. We only want direct calls to ring the app as well as their desk phone. Our previous company we had to switch from to RingCentral had this capability. RingCentral, which is supposedly far superior to our previous company surely must be able to do this as well. Right? I get yelled at 3x's a day because I can not figure out how to resolve this issue so employees aren't getting general calls on their cellphone. Please help!

How can i get our incoming faxes to extrapolate specific data into an excel spreadsheet on my google drive?  I tried the zapier app and i keep getting error messages.

HUD RingCentral Contacts are intermittently missing after being created in RingCentral the day before.

How do I minimize the amount of time calls are in queue before an Available agent is able to answer. During peak times I have agents in Available, multiple calls holding (in queue), but the call takes more than 2 mins to land on the line. What setting needs to be changed?

User is trying to add the app to his cell phone and it sends the email to activate, but the link is always expired already.

Have stumbled across one of our users with a unique problem. User has access to view an inbox where voicemails are left in Ring CX.This inbox displays the VM as a separate link the user will then click on to actually hear the VM. When the user clicks this link a new browser tab is opened and they are prompted to log in again to Ring CX. This turns into a loop where every time the user goes to access the VM they are just asked to log in again. Looking for suggestions on how we can solve this, expected behaviour is that it opens the new tab and just starts playing the VM, it does this for me and our others users.

We can send faxes out but we cannot receive faxes. We have been on Ring Central for one week,

My direct phone number and direct fax number are the same. Is there a setting to make incoming faxes go to someone else when I'm on vacation?

When figuring the total # of inbound calls to call queues and # answered, is the Business Analytics Queues dashboard or Performance Reports / Queues the most accurate?  These 2 reports show different #'s - which is the most accurate / most true?  And why do these #'s vary between the 2?

I’m hoping someone else has run into this because RingCentral support has been completely useless.We’ve been using RingCentral with Google Workspace for over a year. Our contacts sync between RingCentral and Google Contacts without any issues. I work for corporate with 3 companies, they’re looking for a way to divide up the invoicing per company so that the invoicing is paid per company and not to one central corporate bank account. Is there any way to do this in RingCentral? Or does anyone have a better idea I could use to implement what is being asked? Much appreciated for help provided!
