Server side logging keeps logging calls under the Admin account only. Also, the new User Mapping section is only showing 14 valid end users. We have around 300 end users. I’ve tried enabling server side logging fresh and re-entering the credentials. Will it only log correctly for those listed in the User Mapping section?

In app connect, what is “Enable one-time call logging” and how is it different from “Log calls automatically” ?

I need to set up automatic SMS for missed calls and voicemails to a different phone number than the main phone number.  I have it set up for the main phone number, but I need it set it up for our second line 24/7 please.

Please create a feature in the admin portal to block specific numbers from calling all company and user phone numbers, along with SMS/Fax. Currently having to do so user by user is extremely time consuming and put our company at risk when scammers are calling all of our employees hoping one will fall for the scam. These protocols need quickly added and operational.

I need incoming callers to hear the phone ringing.  Then I want the receptionist to answer the ringing phone.  My customers are just getting dead space so they are all hanging up.  I want them to hear the ring, we answer the phone and then transfer to the appropriate extension.  If the receptionist does not answer the phone on the 4th ring then I would like the phone to go to voicemail.  I get everything figured out and then one day it just changes all by itself.

Anyone know how to easily cancel a RingCentral account?  I’ve grown tired of their terrible support.  

We’re using the new RingCentral for Hubspot integration with the auto-logging call integration. Everything is going great except for voicemails. The voicemail recording is not attaching to the record (or the transcript). Is there any setting we can enable to fix this?

I am trying to generate a report for a message only extension to find out how many calls come through that line. This report will be run on a weekly basis.

I’m looking for a solution to the issue described here:When I get a call from a call queue if I click "Ignore Call" on my desktop app the Incoming Call screen goes away and then pops right back up a few seconds later.There must be a way to make this happen, right? My idea is to create fake users to put at the end of my fixed order call queue. That way when my actual users have hit ignore, the fake extensions will “ring” one by one until the maximum wait time is reached (so in my case, 3 rings/15 seconds per fake user, 1 minute timeout, I would have 4 fake users so that I can ensure the call never circles back to my actual users). This obviously isn’t an elegant solution and would consume 4 licenses (not cool), has anyone found a better way of making this happen using Ring Central’s existing features?

We have turned on incoming call recording for most of our extensions.  We excluded a few extensions (executives).  But when these executives call other extensions, they are recorded since incoming calls to that extension are set to record.  How can we exclude certain extensions to never be recorded, even when calling other extensions that are set to record incoming calls?  We are also fine with recording ONLY incoming calls from external sources and excluding all internal calls.  But a Ring Central FAQ said this is not possible.  I realize there is an option to only record call queues, but this isn’t enough since many calls are direct and don’t go through a queue.  I’m confident there are other companies that want to exclude certain people from being recorded from all calls.  How do they achieve this?

All of a sudden, after working fine, when I turn on video in RC it turns the video container all one color with no buttons or controls.My camera works fine by itself, and works fine in other applications. 

We have made some changes to our office layout and have removed four boardrooms that previously had Limited Extensions.How do I remove the four Limited Extensions that are no longer required?

Clio is one of the most popular cloud case management systems for attorneys. Vonage, Nextiva, Smith ai and jive (and the list is growing) all have integrations that will log calls, messages and time entries into Clio. Why none from RC? RC customers will be leaving if RC can't adopt this much-needed integration.

I had RingCentral set up so that when we received a fax it auto printed. I got a new computer with Win 11 Pro, reinstalled RC and now I cannot find an option to auto print. I have consulted with 2 different RC reps, neither of which could figure out what is wrong. One rep I spoke with said on his version RC had that option, so my guess is they took out the auto print feature? I am running 23.3.23.8166 Windows (x64). Any ideas?

My desk phone is no longer ending a phone call when I hang the receiver up. The call remains live and I have to manually press the end call button on the phone’s display screen. Has anyone experienced this and how do I fix it? I’ve looked in all of the settings on the phone and in the admin account. Help!

When I tap a call link in Chrome, RingCentral is opening and making the call. I am using the RingCentral app on my cell phone. Prior to a couple of months ago, call links were opening my native phone app. This is my personal cell phone and RingCentral is for work. I do not want RingCentral opening call links. I have Googled this issue and followed so many instructions. Nothing is correcting this issue. In RingCentral, I turned off the open supported links option (now I have an annoying pop up on the app every time it opens). Suggestions?

Just getting started with ringcentral and have not been able to send or receive faxes yet.We have 3 main numbers with 2 set as rollover and the third also set as our fax number as used in the past. thanks for any input. Chuck

Hi TeamI have a tricky one. We have App Connect set up on our main RC tenant, which is linked to Bullhorn using server side connection. We use single sign on for RingCentral with Entra ID. No problem with any of this.We have set up a second RingCentral for Taiwan (and soon to be a third for the USA), and need to link these tenants to Bullhorn as well. I am opening up the Taiwan RingCentral tenant through a private browser window to circumvent the SSO, and trying to open App Connect through the private browser session. However App Connect still opens in a normal session.How can I configure App Connect for Taiwan without signing out my own App Connect session (and server side logging which has been set up on my session) and breaking the integration on our main tenant.ThanksRian

We’ve got an approved SMS campaign for some emergency alerting going on with the company I support. We’ve got one designated DID that all messages are slated to come from, but a total of 7 employees who will need access to that DID to send messages in the event of an emergency. What’s the best practice or what are folks using out there to provide access to a single DID for multiple parties within the RingCentral tenant?  

2025-09-07 Our company has operations in approximately 90 locations in Canada and the USA and has been using a single RingCentral account (using site codes) since 2020. We recently acquired 2 separate businesses in the Mexico City area (Polonco and Cuautitlan) that we want to integrate into the same account to make it easier for our IT team to manage. The issue is that we are not sure if the Mexican phone network is compatible with the NA network, and since we do not speak Spanish there would be a challenge in making the request to port existing Mexican legacy phone numbers.  I am aware of the RingCentral partnership with MCM Telecom for Mexico and wonder if contacting MCM is the required route to follow.  Does anyone have experience with this or recommendations?

Hello! I’m working through an issue here of provisioning a Mitel 6930 phone onto our RingCentral account. I’m dealing with a phone at a remote location that was previously provisioned and assigned to a user in our RingCentral account. However, today I was made aware that the phone is not working and when I checked the admin portal it does say it’s “Offline”I’ve been troubleshooting the issue remotely since the office is about 2hrs away. It seems like the phone was previously manually configured using the following instructions: 1. Login to the web interface of the desktop IP phone.2. Select "Advanced Settings" > "Configuration Server" menu option.3. Select "HTTPS" in the field "Download Protocol".4. Locate "HTTPS Server" field and enter mtl.ringcentral.com5.
